My DVR cut off the first two minutes of this episode so we are picking up with LVP talking about Teddi bringing a fresh perspective to the show. I agree and I hope we get to keep her and no send her off for being “boring.” I think we need a few normal people on these shows, otherwise it is a big ole sack of crazy. I was so thrilled to see on last night’s trip to Tokyo that Rinna and Erika Jayne knew how to behave properly in other countries and respect their traditions and customs and still have a good time.
Andy says that Teddi is “starting to see another side of Dorit.” Nope, she’s seeing the only side she has that we have all been seeing. It just seems worse this season because batshit crazy Eden is thankfully gone and we can focus more on the Dorit situation. Lisa says the situation with Dorit doesn’t get any better as the season goes on. I am only now seeing LVP’s ensemble for the evening. It’s very “widow of the deceased at the funeral.” She appears to be wearing black lace gloves with her black dress with the see through arms and Is that some sort of white stole draped over her chair? I am sure this was discussed in the first two minutes that my DVR decided to spare me from.
The first poll is, is Dorit a fun girl or a trash talker? 96% say trash talker. LVP says she is very good friends with Dorit. Really? That is interesting. I hope that doesn’t lower our chances of getting her off the show.
LVP says it is bad enough having to deal with everything that comes out of her mouth, but now she has to visualize everything that goes into her mouth? That’s even worse. LVP says Rinna wrote a book called How To Lay A Man and she wrote a book called How to Lay a Table. Frankly, I find both of those talents to be important to a lady’s education.
Andy basically said that Vanderpump Rules is better than RHOBH this season. Of course he would think that. He has a one track mind. While Vanderpump Rules is still a lot of fun, and Lady C’s recaps are even better, I still prefer RHOBH. We see a clip of next week where Scheana completely disbelieves that her man is making out with other women. There seems to be an awful lot that happening this season.
LVP’s weird gloves with sparkles in very distracting.
We get a montage of the new Nice Lisa Rinna. LVP says Rinna thinks if she keeps saying how nice she is people would believe it. Keep watching.
Andy brings up Rinna’s Instastory where she was watching the first two seasons of RHOBH and commenting. LVP says, “Yes, she watched the seasons for and didn’t get the part.” It seems that Rinna is still on the ropes for daring to mention LVP’s many legal issues. #Shade
Rinna shows LVP in fur and asks how she is wearing fur as an animal activist. LVP says the fur is as fake as Rinna. Rinna claims that LVP made Taylor the villain. I was still very pro Vanderpump during Taylor’s seasons so I’m sure I didn’t see it that way at the time, but perhaps we should rewatch those episodes. Rinna says that LVP was more lighthearted and fun in the early seasons. LVP said that probably true until I met her. I’m not sure how seriously to take LVP’s jabs because that is sort of the nature of her relationship with Rinna.
Next is a montage called “Take a Seat, Dorit!” which is just a montage of her constant crappy behavior in the last episode. LVP says that Dorit was drunk at the dinner party, but she has no excuse for her behavior at the photo shoot. Brandi Glanville tweeted that she was feeling some deja vu about the new young blonde sidekick doing a photoshoot for Beverly Hills Living. Brandi says she was kinder to the hair and makeup team. LVP says this may be the only time that Brandi has been right.
Next LVP is asked to give advice to all the cheating couples on Pump Rules. First up is Jax and Brittany. She says that Britanny is such a lovely girl who always looks for the best in people and she thinks her love for him supersedes the sense. She says the audio recording is bad. With regard to Katie and Schwartz, LVP says perhaps she did over-react, but because she officiated the wedding, she felt invested and it felt like he had cheated on her as well. That is one of the dumbest things LVP has ever said. With regard to Tom and Ariana not having sex, she says that was shocking to her. She says that Scheana being in Vegas for a few months might be good for her. However, I think Scheana said he came to her opening night. Regarding Kristen and Carter who we don’t see as much of, Andy says that they seem great. LVP says, “Yeah, but come on Andy, it’s Kristen!”
Next week, Rinna brings up a lawsuit against LVP and Ken. In the lawsuit, Ken is accused of physically pushing a woman who owns another dog shelter against the wall while screaming “Don’t you know who I am. I believe that lawsuit settled out of court with a clause that said the woman would not pursue an assault case. Kyle immediately says that Ken would never be violent with a woman. But we have witnessed him being very aggressive toward Yolanda on the finale of one season. He’s also said very derogatory things about Brandi and other cast members, and was at the center of a lengthy sexual harassment case ihe lost involving Villia Blanca. So I’m not surprised the case was settled quietly. His track record seems less than pristine to me. None of the myriad of other court cases have been mentioned on the show. After seeing Kyle defend Ken she says, “Well that is great, and that is the truth.” But is it?
LVP admits she was throwing shade at Erika Jayne when she said, “scratch the puss.” She says Erika has a good sense of humor and can take a joke. She likes that about Erika. More like she doesn’t have any fucks to give about what LVP says.
A caller asks out of all the housewives who have left, who does she miss the most and the least. Obviously Brandi is the one she misses the least. She says she is friends with Joyce Giraud, and thinks she if fabulous. Really now. She sure was complicit in Brandi treating her like shit the season she was on.
Andy asks if Faith set out to hurt Britanny when she recorded Jax. LVP says she thinks Jax got confused when she told him to have Faith in himself, she didn’t me to have himself in Faith. How long has she been waiting to use that line. She basically said that Faith was trying to get on the show as Jax’s girlfriend. She says you don’t generally secretly record someone without an ulterior motive.
LVP says that she tried to wrangle Dorit into a more civilized state of mind at dinner. She says when she saw the footage, she was laughing and realized that sometimes she does that to diffuse the situation and it’s not a good thing. She says her behavior was wildly inappropriate.
LVP says she hasn’t heard from Yolanda. She tried reaching out to her once with no response. She sees the kids when they are in town. Andy says she got Mohammed in the divorce. She says, “Well, I had him before.”
LVP is asked why she has a soft spot for Lala. She says because she tries to project this “gangsta” vibe she is not like that at all. She says once you get to know her she’s really sweet. Also, when she works at SUR all the guests love her.
Andy plugs LVP’s rosé and asks if Giggy ever has any. LVP says, “Just a little at cocktail hour, what’s wrong with that?” She’s got to be kidding but I imagine the Internet went wild with that comment.
Finally, a caller asked if Max ever met his birth mother. She said they did find her and give him the opportunity to meet her. He’s rather torn on the issue. He has not met her yet, but that doesn’t mean it will not happen in the future. It’s his choice to make.
Ken and Pandora were in the audience. Which reminds me, Ken wants to clone giggy. LVP said they could do so much more with the $50,000 it costs by putting it into the “shelter.”
