Surprise, surprise, surprise. Yolanda Foster dropped the news on Wendy Williams today that she is in love again. David Foster began the process of unloading Yolanda back in 2015 and they finally came to a financial agreement last October. Less that three months later she’s announced she has another fish on her hook.
But I’m getting ahead of myself her. Let’s start at the beginning. Yolanda was on Wendy Williams today to promote her new show Making A Model. She strutted out in all black wearing some really expensive looking boots. Before they even start talking Yolanda gives Wendy a ‘healing crystal form Manchester.” I mean the quackery begins straight off the bat.
Wendy complements her on he simple look without hair extensions and drama. Yolanda says that there is no more artificial stuff on her, she’s learned her lesson on that. Is that irony or just hypocrisy? Wendy of course complimented her look just so she can announce that Yolanda is 54. Because, shady.
Yolanda says she is coming out of a really bad seven-year cycle where she wasn’t really celebrating her birthday, but this year, she is gathering all her friends, presuming both of them are available and celebrating the premiere of her show which is on her birthday.
Wendy brings up the “Lyme disease.” Yolanda says she has had it for seven years and she feels amazing because it is “in remission.” Wendy asks how she knew she had lyme disease, she tells a story about going to all sorts of doctors who told her she had chronic fatigue, but she kept on saying, “no! I have something that is eating my brain!” Blah blah blah all the doctors in the world, blah, blah, blah finally found a guy in Belgium to say she has “chronic neurological lyme.” Both non-Gigis have it two! The audience moans.
Wendy brings up Lisa Rinna who accused her of faking her illness. Yolanda says she didn’t really address Rinna about it because she was “just fighting for her life.” Yo says Rinna recently sent her a long letter of apology after reading the book. When she lapses into stories about things like not knowing what Munchhausen is, her accent and misuse of English words gets worse. Is that her tell? Yolanda says she is more spiritual and living on a higher level that the rest of the world.
Wendy starts a question with, “So you live on a farm in Pennsylvania now?” Yolanda replies with “where?” She refuses to say where her farm is located. It’s a beautiful 32 acre farm where she has chickens and goats and cows and horses. I perfect breeding ground for deer ticks. She has her own vegetable garden.
Yolanda says there is no competition between the girls. Anwar is an extremely “crystal child.” He’s extremely spiritual and wants to heal the world.
Wendy asks if she is friends with Kris Kardashian. She says they are friendly but not friends. Wendy asks who get the better table at a restaurant. Yolanda says, “Kris, because she’s Kris, and I’m just Joe Schmoe from Holland.” Yolanda says she rarely goes out and lives very far away from LA and that whole scene and she is happy that way.
Christmas this year was Gigi and her boyfriend Zayn Malik and the other not Gigis lounging about on the farm in front of the fireplace knitting sweaters and making gingerbread houses.
Wendy asks if she is dating and she fakes surprise. She tells Wendy she has been single for two and a half years and needed to take time to live in her own power, blah, blah, blah. And then she says she made a “love spiral” two or three months ago where she wrote down exactly what she was looking for in a man. I assume she is talking about those things that one girl in middle school would do when she was supposed to be taking notes where she started writing in the middle of the page in circles that continue to spiral around. Anyway, she wrote down what she wanted and then he just magically appeared and rang the doorbell at the farm one day. Oh, please.
He is three months younger than she is, he’s an amazing man and she is very much in love. He’s a very private person, he is a business man. He getting ready to be taken to the cleaners.
Yolanda’s show, Making A Model, has the mothers and daughters sleeping in the same bunk beds together every night. It’s not a competition show, no one gets sent home. She is focusing on the mother daughter relationship. She says “stuff goes down.”
The show starts Thursday at ten on Lifetime. I will probably recap but I don’t think I can fit it in during the original hour and might have to record the second show.
