I don’t really know where Farrah lives anymore. I do know that she bought a house in Arizona and a house in LA and sold them both at a loss at some point. Currently, she’s in LA with Sophia and Sophia is getting a surfing lesson. It looks like it is Wednesday. We are not even a minute in and Farrah responds to a simple question about her trip to Omaha to see her mom the next day with, “Kristen, I don’t look at my life upside down and shit on it, okay? I’m going to have a good day today.”
Then we cut to Debra’s house. She is facetiming her fiancé and counting down the number of days to the wedding. Farrah is taking Sophia to Omaha because it is her grandmother’s 80th birthday.
Oh dear God. Sophia is starting home schooling. Having a decent teacher was her one last life line. We find out the sad news when Farrah goes to lunch with her elderly Rock of Love friend, Frenchy. Sophia has a napkin over her face for most of the scene as if trying to stop the stench of something. Frenchy is incomprehensible and the subtitles only showed up toward the end.
After the birthday party, Farrah, Sophia and Debra meet for lunch. Sophia really needs some serious counseling. This is a cycle that really needs to be broken. Sophia tells her mom that she doesn’t want to go to the wedding. Farrah is terrible to her mother and tells her she is not coming to her wedding either.
Matt keeps trying to get Amber visit her in Vegas. Amber has decided not to go. She has also decided not to try to force Matt to repay all the money he allegedly stole from her. This new enlightenment comes courtesy of the next con artist trying to get in her pants. The producer from Marriage Boot Camp. He comes with his own shady past. She says it is not another Matt situation, and she has learned her lesson. Clearly, she has not.
Who knew that Gary raising Amber would be the cutest part of this show? I love their oldtimey country farmhouse. While Amber is planning her first date with the latest con artist to enter her life, she has not even called Leah in weeks. She also owes Gary almost ten thousand dollars in child support. Production ends the scene with a tight shot of Gary, and then adds a halo to his head.
Andrew is in the next scene filming with Amber. They are holding hands and being all lovey dovey. It’s gross. Then Andrew drops Farrah off at Gary’s house so she can go visit Leah. Amber just called and demanded to show up in thirty minutes after ignoring her kid for weeks. Gary let her come, but he was not happy about it. Amber says that Gary is threatening suicide if she doesn’t come back to him.
Ryan is still refusing to take a drug test, so Maci is still refusing to let him go to his parents house. Meanwhile, Taylor is taking Maci skydiving for her birthday.
Does Mack live with Ryan’s parents? Despite already being married, Mack has decided to do engagement photos. Because why the hell not? Tensions are high between these two as Ryan is in no hurry to make it to the photo shoot on time and is instead playing with a model car while she looks mad as hell and scary music plays. Is he using again? I’ve never seen any woman endure so much public humiliation just to be on TV. It’s pathetic. Despite their obvious seething hatred for one another, they fake some lovely dovey photos at the lake.
Taylor takes Maci out for dinner and tells her that he is taking her skydiving. Maci seems terrified but willing. I do not understand why people do this. But they loved it.
There are a lot of terrible stories floating around about these two lately. Catelynn has been in a rehab in Arizona since posting that she was having suicidal thoughts in mid November. There are all kinds of rumors about Tyler floating around and rumors of him cheating. Farrah is accusing him of being gay. It’s just a big mess that is hopefully getting straightened out.
Catelynn is still bitching about Carly’s parents. They are allowed one day, or sometimes two days for visits with Carly. They decided to stay in town for a whole week and head to the beach. That’s fine, but she just can’t invite herself to go to the beach with Carly while she is there. I do not get where these attitudes come from. While I think it is great that the adoption counselor is coming to the venture to the park, I’m not sure how Dawn fits into the occasion or why she is bringing her two kids. We got to see some stills approved by Carly’s parents where her face was strategically not shown. Still you could see a lot of similarities to Nova. Catelynn and Tyler looked emotionally drained. Why does Catelynn always drive? Does Tyler not have a license? The visit was super hard on Catelynn.
And we survived another episode.
