Farrah is finally back from filming Big Brother UK and everyone is oddly glad to see her. Farrah is hatching a plan to take the family to Italy to get her mother away from her fiance David. Farrah really, really hates David.
Farrah talks to her kid about whether are not they should let her grandmother come on the trip to Italy. She says, “What if she’s bad again?” But what was more irritating than the conversation itself was that the kid was making a bowl full of shaving cream and glue and God knows what else in the kitchen. Is that how you make slime?
Farrah and Michael go shopping for an engagement because he is going to propose to his girlfriend. Michael’s girlfriend Amy seems so nice and normal. She gives Farrah some advice about rebuilding the relationship between her mother and Sophia, and Farrah actually listens to it.
Things haven’t changed regarding the issue with Ryan. He has not gotten back to her about the drug testing situation. Ryan’s parents really want to see Bentley with or without Ryan. Ryan’s mom seems worried to death about Ryan.
Mack says that while Ryan was in rehab for heroin, she was shopping in Dallas for a new wedding dress. She needs the new dress because the old dress reminds of the fact that she let a guy who was high on heroin drive her to the ceremony and married him despite the fact that he was so high he had no idea what was going on. I guess that is as good a reason for a new dress as any. Perhaps a lobotomy will be a good investment as well. Ryan tells the producer that he hasn’t seen Bentley yet because he has to be drug tested and he doesn’t want to do them yet because the drugs are not completely out of his system. That’s interesting.
The next day, Mack takes some random friend to Dallas with her to shop for her wedding dress. Mack may be the dumbest female ever to be on Teen Mom. And that is saying a lot. She is worried that Maci won’t let Bentley come to the wedding, and he’s the best man! It’s just so hard for Mack! How am I just finding out that Mack has a very young son? Did I forget this? Surely I would have already ranted about dating a drug addict when you have a small child involved. Where was he at the heroin wedding? While Mack was in Dallas, Ryan ponied up for his own hair follicle test to see if the heroin would still show up. My understanding is that the hair follicle test can tell how long ago the drug was taken. If not he is just going to have to shave his head and wait for the clean hair to grow in.
Matt continues to text Amber with all of the things guys say when they realize they have fucked up. I am proud of Amber for getting sucked back in. She needs to block him on her phone. Oh wait. She says she is going to go visit him in Vegas. Apparently, she hasn’t even been seeing her daughter.
Gary and his new wife talk about the fact that they do more inviting her to see Leah than she does asking to see her. They are trying to include her on things like the first day of school, but Amber doesn’t always participate. Leah seems very happy at their house with her baby sister though. Leah has only seen Amber twice all summer. She did manage to meet her at the school for Leah’s first day.
Later, a producer tells Leah she seems to be in a much better mind-set lately. She says she is back on her “head meds” and she a whole different person without them. This is why she says she can’t have more kids because she can’t go off her meds. And yet, she’s pregnant with the new loser guy already. We will meet him next week.
And once Matt realized his gravy train was over, he married a cocktail waitress with a kid in Las Vegas.
After two years of begging, Carly’s mother has finally agreed to a visitation day. Unfortunately, it is in the middle of a big family vacation. I don’t see the problem. Either fly in and out of the vacation for a day or leave the trip early or arrive late. Or God forbid cancel the trip. These two seem so entitled to see Carly when they have no rights to see her at all. At this point I think the adoptive parents have gone above and beyond the call of duty for these two.
Carly’s mother offers them a different date. The woman is a saint. For some reason, they rent an entire house in Raleigh. I suppose production paid for the rental so that they could film there. I’m disappointed in Tyler’s snotty attitude toward Carly’s parents. We never see the visitations, but next week we will here how it went.
