For some reason this week, Teen Mom OG pooted out two episodes on one night. So I am just going to do them both together in one super long post.
Episode two starts of with Matt claiming he did nothing wrong and wondering why Amber has just called off the engagement. Really, Matt? I’m pretty sure you relapsed and cheated and spent $120,000 of Amber’s money. Please pack your knives and go. Matt utters the episode two title, “This is going to end badly.” Matt leaves and Amber’s brother arrives. They are going to go boating with Gary and his wife and their kids.
Speaking of not mother material, Amber is still asleep at 1 p.m. I admit I didn’t fully get up until 3 p.m. today but I was up very late working on the site and then fucked around on Twitter for a bit. And I don’t have a kid or relatives in town visiting me. Thank God. I wish Amber would call Leah by her name and not Booger Butt. She is cute with her kid though and the boat trip looked like so much fun. Gary is a fantastic dad. But no one has on sunscreen and they all get burnt up. Amber and Matt seem very close.
Matt is coming home. Amber feels an obligation to work things out with Matt because Leah is attached to him and they have been together a long time, and she loves him. She’s also pissed that his daughter wants him off the show and back in Massachusetts. Surprise! He ended up moving to Las Vegas anyway and marrying a cocktail waitress on the exact day they were supposed to get married! So much for true love and caring about your kids.
Matt shows up back at the house and he’s really skinny. I was going to point that out earlier, but this time Amber sees a difference in the short amount of time he has been gone. He’s lost ten pound on his trip. Matt denies using. They argue about his daughter not wanting him being on the show. Amber tells production she is almost done with Matt. I’m so confused about the filming schedule. Was this filmed before or after Marriage Boot Camp? I don’t think we have seen that series yet, have we? I think right now it is Kailyn and Javi. We really need to get to the one with Amber and Matt and Brandi Glanville and her dad.
Amber eventually throws Matt out of her house. He points out that it is his house too because she was stupid enough to put it in his name as well as hers.
For reasons not yet clear, Farrah is renting out her Austin house so she and her kid and her menagerie of animals have moved in with poor beleaguered Michael, aka her father. Oh I think the reason is probably the horse. She has her shit in black trash bags all over Michael’s house. Farrah goes house hunting in LA. Farrah sucks at real estate. She lost money on the sale of her Austin house and lost money on the sale of her Hollywood Hills house. I love the house she is looking at and so does Farrah but her agent tells her it is not her style. I try not to have house envy and totally get that people who work hard get nice houses. But I can’t help but be quite irked that this little bitch can afford to buy beautiful homes. Plural. It just doesn’t sit well with me. The agent insists that Farrah needs to live in Beverly Hills. She ends up buying in Hollywood Hills. And she has, as I mentioned, sold the house at a loss.
Farrah has changed her will to exclude her mother because of her mother’s boyfriend. She also wants to have a cemetery plot in a fancy LA cemetery. The psycho realtor says she will take Farrah’s kid if she dies. So weird and creepy.
Farrah is heading off to Vegas for a girl’s weekend because she needs a break. REALLY? And leaves all the animals and her kid with Michael and her girlfriend. Who is this Heather person who is playing the role of Farrrah’s friend? Another porn worker? Apparently Simon was invited on the trip without Farrah knowing. I find that hard to believe.
Snapchat glasses are a thing? One more thing I have to worry about in life. I so hate the constant surveillance everywhere you go. I drag my ass to the discount smoke shop in PJs all the time and the entire place is covered with cameras. UGH.
Debra and David are planning their wedding. She wants Farrah to be her maid of honor, but she is not sure if she will even come. Debra is glad that Simon is out of Farrah’s life. But is he? We saw pretty much nothing of the trip. Simon showed up and Farrah left. Farrah makes it seem like Simon still wants to be friends. It’s clear he wants to be on the show and Farrah is making sure that doesn’t happen.
I don’t understand why these Teen Moms think their children need photo shoots. Is that the new taking your kid to Sears to have photos made?
Catelynn is building a barn for her horse. Le sigh. Tyler wants another baby. Bad. Oh Tyler. Catelynn is not mom material. You have to see this. He wants to Catelynn to surprise him with the news. Catelynn is thinking about getting her IUD out but she is afraid of getting postpartum depression again.
I don’t believe that Catelynn and Tyler actually have a kids line that people are buying. Do these people actually live in Detroit or just nearby? I think it is the latter, but I am glad they are supporting Detroit businesses.
Catelynn cancels her IUD removal. It seems like she is using her desire to ride horses as an excuse. Tyler seems fine with it. Apparently he has come to his senses. Why do I not recognize Tyler’s mom? Has she been on much before? Why didn’t she watch the baby when they ended up having to leave her with Butch? Tyler doesn’t sleep? Is he taking something?
Ryan is still in rehab. Their kid looks more like Ryan everyday. Oh wow, Ryan is coming out of rehab after only 21 days. That does not sound like nearly long enough. But Mackenzie is thrilled. Ryan says he got out of rehab early because he took classes while he was in detox for nine days. He has no aftercare plan. He wants to see Bentley on Father’s Day. Maci is not taking his calls. So he is going to show up at her house. He feels bad because Bentley has to do chores at Maci’s house. He doesn’t think that is right. Um, it’s called parenting a child. It’s not just play time. He says he didn’t have to do any of that as a child. Hey, look how good he turned out. He seems really angry with Maci.
Maci agrees to take Bentley to visit Ryan, briefly without the cameras. Both Maci and her new husband feel like the new husband is the father. Ryan doesn’t get why the cameras have to leave since she has told all of his business on camera. Production leaves, but Ryan is still being an asshole.
Maci says that things did not go well with Ryan. They did not stay long. Apparently, they both have issues with the other’s spouse. And Ryan’s dad screamed at Bentley at one of his baseball games and Maci’s husband got into it with Ryan’s dad. Maci is done and they will have to go to court to get visitation. She worries she was so lenient before with visitation that it will come back to haunt her in court. She wants Ryan drug tested before every visit. I agree with her. It sucks that it has come to this They also have issues with Ryan’s parents spoiling him. I disagree there. That is what grandparents are for. It doesn’t look like Ryan has much interest in his kid. He would probably have been better served if they had filmed the visit because now we only have Maci’s side.
They did film the aftermath of Maci and Bentley going to the cookout. Apparently there was a big blow up between Ryan and Maci over the incident at the ball field. Ryan’s mom is pissed at all of them for ruining her chance for time with Bentley. Ryan’s dad is being an asshole. He says Maci is still in love with him. Mackenzie says that she cries every night to Taylor about Ryan. BECAUSE HE IS A DRUG ADDICT OF A FATHER YOU MORON! Ryan is screaming about court. Mackenzie is all for it. Ryan’s dad tells the cameras on day, we will all know the damn truth. Ryan starts crying. The truth is that Maci is raising his kid’s son, who has been an absent drug addicted father for a long while. That’s the truth.
Wow, that was A LOT. Did y’all watch?
