I have a few things to share with y’all tonight about three of the RHOA. I suppose I will start with Kenya. For the past three years or so, Kenya has been hinting about getting IVF during the off season. Remember way back when she was seeing that Nigerian guy and would fly to Lagos? She was teasing us about IVF back at that time.
So now, she is married and in Barbados without her husband going to not one, but two fertility clinics. TMZ got her going into one on Thursday and Daily Mail got her coming out of another one today. I am not buying this. I question the practicality of living in Brooklyn (or Atlanta) and having an IVF doctor in the Caribbean. It is miraculous how two publications that pay for stories just happened to be outside an IVF clinic in Barbados! It’s like she had her publicist call her friend Andrew at TMZ. Then the next day had Daily Mail send someone to take a video of her on an iPhone and write a story. Or perhaps whoever is with her took the video of her looking upset to see paparazzi outside the clinic to send to Daily Mail.
Then Kenya posts on IG asking us to keep her in her prayers with a hashtag about children. Sigh. Is she getting IVF treatments? Perhaps. But I’ve heard this process was happening for years. Also, IVF is usually something people keep private. Right Asa? Especially when people don’t want their business in the streets. Right Jerome?
Cynthia Bailey surprised me today with some harsh words of Kim and Brielle Biermann. Cynthia gave an exclusive interview to TooFab this week where she shared, “I don’t care how old your kid is — the right thing is for them to just not be involved, to not get involved in that way when it comes to another cast member. But if we want the kids to be off limits, then the parents of those kids have to also make sure that their kids aren’t coming for any of us because then all bets are off. I am very, very vocal about having kids be off limits, and where it ended up going just got so dark and crazy. I never think it’s good when the drama and shade has the potential to go to court.”
That’s a pretty strong opinion that we don’t normally see from Cynthia!
And Phinally, Phaedra finally cleaned her house that she lived in during filming and had it painted normal colors. Check this our for how disastrous it looked during a previous open house. She also had it stage to make it look like normal people live there. She took the house off the market after the disastrous open house.
In addition to all the money she had to spend on cleaning, painting and staging, she finally agreed to drop the price from $1.49 million to a more reasonable but still a bit high $1.195 million. She purchased the property in April of 2013 for $849,000.She put the house back on the market at the lower price today.
And that’s the latest from the ATL.
