Joanna Krupa was caught outside Craigs by The Blast this week and she took the opportunity to defend her friend Jeremy Piven who is the latest male in Hollywood to be accused of sexually predatory behavior against women on set with him.
Actress Ariane Bellamar accused Piven of forcefully fondling her on two separate occasions on the set of Entourage. She also accused him of flooding her phone is sexually explicit texts. Piven immediately denied that the incidents ever happened and state that false claims like this dilute the credibility of women who were actually victimized. After his statement, Bellamar has been attacked on social media by men and women accusing her of lying and/or causing her own assault.
Now, Cassidy Freeman (Smallville) has come to Bellamar’s aid calling the actor out for his “predatory behavior.” Freeman posted on Instagram yesterday:
“You will deny this because, sadly, she’s deniable. The backlash this woman received was horrendous,” Freeman wrote alongside a screenshot of an article about Piven quashing the allegations. “And whether or not her accusations are true, the TRUTH is I know you. I know what you did and attempted to do to me when I was far too young. THAT I know. And you know it too.”
