We start with Kate telling Jen she needs to get her act together and do her overnight tasks. Jen seems confused about how things work. They are halfway through charter and she still has no idea how to do her job without someone holding her hand every step of the way. She goes to bed without completing the set up for breakfast. So the next morning there is no orange juice. Baker ends up having to pitch in with breakfast service.
The guests leave happy with their stay. Except for the ice cream debacle that Matt was to blame for. The tip was $21K for a three-day cruise. That was just the tip! Wow. The owners of the boat are paying for the crew to stay at a nice resort. That is the worst cover story ever for Bravo putting the crew in a resort in exchange for promotional benefits. Captain Lee says that they need to stay out of jail because he doesn’t do bail money.
Nico is fighting with his girlfriend back home because she keeps calling. Matt calls his ex girlfriend who has zero interest in meeting up with him after he returns home. Kate has decided to change all the crew cabin mates. Brianna and Nico will be sharing quarters.
At the resort, Matt is on a mission to get wasted. This will not end well. Bruno has agreed to be his sous chef after 4 pm from now on. Bruno will probably be doing most of the cooking. EJ and Baker are bonding. Someone has to be nice to EJ I guess. For some reason I thought the entire episode was going to be about their day off, but nothing much happened worth filming so we are taken back to the boat. I have a feeling this is going to be a pretty short recap. I’m enjoying the show there just isn’t really much to comment on other than I was not overly impressed with the resort. My days of ziplining and drinking by the pool with people I have to work with all the time are thankfully over.
Brianna and Nico aren’t even pretending that they are not together anymore. They full on make out outside on the bow of the boat and then take things to their cabin where the cameras will not be. We are left to our imaginations about what they may be doing in there. Nico says he knows what he is doing is wrong, but he doesn’t care. He is right where he wants to be. Oh wait, there are cameras in there. Brianna finally got what she wanted.
Baker asks EJ out to dinner. EJ is thrilled. He’s never been asked on a date before. Both Nico and EJ think that the other one getting laid will mellow them out some.
Kate has devised some sort of timed stew test. Jen is continuing to mouth off to Kate and Kate has had enough. She made the test seem like there were four stews on the boat. Did I mishear that part? Do they have real stews hiding in the woodwork to do the real work? Jen fails miserably at the speed test and will have one hour breaks on the next charter and Brianna will have two-hour breaks.
Nico and Matt have a chat about girlfriends back home. Nico seems to have no desire to go back home to his grieving family and his girlfriend. It’s like he wants a new start and doesn’t want to face anything.
Jen cries to Bruno about Kate taking away an hour of her break time. Jen thinks that she does all of the work and Brianna gets all of the credit. Briana tries to have an honest conversation with Jen but Jen isn’t open to listening to anyone else’s point of view. Brianna runs to Kate and tells her that Jen is super upset. Jen is in the galley tossing things all around in a rage.
EJ and Baker go on their dinner date. It was like two fourteen year old band students on their first date. But both them seem happy with the date. I hope I don’t have to see much more of this. EJ skeeves me out.
At the crew meeting regarding the next charter guests we have a rich old guy and his pathetically younger blond bimbo fiancée.
Nico breaks up with Melissa, his girlfriend of nearly one year, by text. He says, “I can’t do this anymore Melissa. I met someone on the boat who gives me what I need right now.” Wow. Who knew Nico was such a dirtbag?
The charter guests are three couples. The blonde bimbo engaged to the primary is a loud mouthed pain in the ass. This whole group seems obnoxious. Kate is already over them.
Next Week: Nico’s brother arrives and Nico’s attitude problem doubles.
