Dance Moms: There’s A New Team In Town Part 2

October 12, 2017 by tamaratattles 10 Comments

This episode picks up where part one left off.  Everyone is arriving at the competition and there are fans outside cheering for the older girls. Camryn and her mom, Camille, are in the back of the group and suddenly Camryn turns around and starts walking away from the venue. She has seen Ashlee and the mini moms headed in their direction and she seem really upset to see them. It seems like Camille called Brynn a liar for saying that Camille was at the ALDC the other day. The allegation indicating that she might be wanting to flip back to Abby.  Ashlee and Camille get into a huge blowout in front of throngs of little fans who witness the whole thing.

Abby seems really down about having to compete again The Irreplaceables. That team has so many of her favorite dancers on it and she has a fairly new group. She is really hurt that they left her.

In The Irreplaceables coach is still complaining about the girls lack of work ethic. The girls seem to hate this coach.

It’s time to perform and Abby gives her usual performance by refusing to go into the auditorium to watch the girls because the other moms are in there.

Brynn’s solo is shown first. It’s a pretty little lyrical. The type of dance Maddie did when she was six. It was good, but nothing new or interesting and the choreography didn’t seem that difficult.

Lilliana’s solo is very cutesy with more ballet steps than usual. Her performance was flawless as far as I could tell and she’s cute. The choreography seemed more advanced than Brynn’s to me.

Elliana’s solo is the most mature of the three. She nailed it. Yolanda cried. Kira mocked the music saying that she felt like she was in an Italian restaurant.

Kira came for Ashlee again and said that Brynn’s solo was childish.

The group dance for the older girls has them in black fishnets, black grandma panties, black bras with fringe and high heels. It’s literally a group chair dance. Their run through went horribly. The coach is not impressed.

The ALDC group dance is Where Have All The Children Gone? I hated it the firs time and I hate it this time. It’s creepy. But creepy or not, the did a fabulous job. They somehow managed to stay together without any music at all. And that boy Abby brought is was a ringer. They should totally win.

When Abby sees the tarted up girls take the stage. She gets up and walks out and says, “I’m done.” The wasn’t a whole lot of difficult choreography in the chair dance, so I don’t know why it was so hard for them in rehearsal. It relies heavily on sex appeal and not so much on dance. The men in the audience as well as the male judge really seemed to enjoy it.  They stayed in sync fairly well. But there is no way this should win over the ALDC dance. Also, I wonder if any of these girls have fathers and if they do how they would feel with them in the audience.

Ashlee is so grossed out she is packed up and ready to leave before awards. None of the ALDC moms are in the audience when the awards are passed out. That was just ridiculous.

Elliana finally beat Liliana. They came in first and second. Brynn did not place. The group dance won first place.

The older girls took second place in the teen category.

The older moms all went after Ashlee screaming at her for saying that their kids looked like strippers. They did look like strippers! And they danced like strippers. Holly is still carrying the stripper chair around with her! They all march after Ashlee like a pack of hyenas as she head to her car without engaging them. Then Holly, the former school principal starts shouting that Ashlee is a bully. Wow, just when I though Holly could not sink any lower.

Next week: Abby quit the show on social media and Cheryl Burke is quickly hired to replace her. Does this mean all the girls will be back together?

What a dreadful display of momagers. Holly really is shameful and lost all respect I had for what I thought she brought to the team.
Abby, please hang in there, need you to come back to YOUR show.
P.s. I am not and was never a mom more involved than a hour here and there when/as needed in the classroom. It was great if just me. Couldn’t stand the other moms.Pickup and drop off I dread. These moms amaze me with how they behave. It’s not about the kid’s at all!!

Holly and Jill are now in my window licking section. I fast forward when they get air time and I like it. All of the older girls temporary teachers are as tough or tougher than Abby. They have commented on the girls poor work ethic and laziness. When Kalani danced in the red bra and panty costume when she was with Abby she didn’t look vulgar and the dance was not sexual. But the girls looked vulgar this time, even though they were more covered (fish net stockings). The dance was way too seductive for girls under 18. I pictured someone in the audience making it rain and shouting yeehaw, woo whoo and hot damn. I would not allow a 14 or 15 year old girl to be in that dance. I know, I am a prude but yuck just yuck ! The minis are adorable and talented. I hope they don’t go back to the older girls. I will miss Abby and if I am still alive I will wait for her return.

I agree. The stripper costumes were all wrong for that dance. A cute tuxedo with hair in bun would have made that dance much better.

I agree, Marsha. I have a 15 year old daughter, and all I can say about that dance is no. Hell no.

Please they have to grow up sooner or later and dance is a profession and what they want to do so ithey could have a job on Broadway that could very well have a dance like this and yea could happen at the age they are now or at least I. A year or two. Come in it wasn’t vulgar they ended up doing a great job and looked pretty darn good. They all looked beautiful.

I thought it was vulgar and they were too young to be doing a seductive dance. I did say I am a prude and you think it is fine evidently. I know people all age at the same rate and everyone grows older, no need to think you have to point that out to me. I thought the dance did not take as much skill as Abby’s routines.

I am not down for this acceptance of your kids getting older way before they need to be. I think it’s sickening on the toddlers and Tierra’s show and just as bad for these teens. The jobs they are going to get dancing and looking like strippers is on a pole. It was basically a burlesque show done by minors. If it wasn’t the bra and fishnets, the dancing around the chair like a strip tease both it may not have been so bad. But it was all too much for me.

It is not FINE for these women to put their kids on a stage like that. They were literally giving lap dances to a chair in fishnets.

Perhaps if they were not on TV it would not be so appalling.

But they are setting their young teenaged children up for being tracked down and put in danger.

I once got in a A LOT of trouble for translating the contracts my school asked my parents to sign about putting their kid on the Internet, for telling them they did not have to sign it and it could put their child at risk.

Do we know how things go with Cheryl Burke? I’m assuming she is a professional that isn’t going to risk her reputation for the moms acting like fools.
I haven’t heard about how it goes.

The strippers with chairs routine was awful, with the girls out of line and unable to execute their choreography on an individual basis as well – not to mention the routine was grossly inappropriate – and just gross. The way that the moms are attacking sweet little Brie – is horrendous. And the older girls basically bullied Brie – bc – imo – very jealous. Professor Holly has morphed. Ironically, the moms of the older girls are exhibiting the Abby behavior they claim to have abhored. Christie is behaving in a most unattractive way.
