I was just on GG’s Instagram kind of checking on her since she was getting a transfusion last I was there and had a few minor health issues to add to her load. Then I noticed a post from a couple of days ago that seemed to suggest that she and Shalom had reconciled. Maybe. She was talking about wanting to go to the gym but only if her husband, Shalom would train her. Then if you go to Shalom’s IG you can see that GG has been commenting on there as if they are together. So WTF is this whole story about? Such a crazy pair. UPDATED! Someone told me that the happy couple was doing an IG story during the show tonight. So, um. BACK TOGETHER! Oh, GG!
I really hope this is a lighthearted episode because I’ve been in the hole all weekend. I couldn’t find anything to watch on TV that was not sad. It looks like MJ is getting on her way with her renovations. Hopefully this will inspire me. When her interior designer comes over, she asks if she can have some of his coffee, and he says he is just getting over a cold. A normal person would not have asked and if they did they would know that means, “No, I bought this coffee for myself. Make your own.” But to MJ it meant, “Sure help yourself the second it is out of my hands.”
I do not believe Mike’s shoe line story line. Nope. Last week it was baby moccasins. This week it is adult suede sneakers. Oh, it’s both now. The store thinks the baby shoes are something he has never seen before. I guess dude has never been to Baby Gap, Minnetonka or seen a baby before. Every baby has moccasins.
Sherv and Annalise are pretending that she is going to move in. Sherv is glad she doesn’t believe the rumors. The ones about him and Tara. Not the real rumors about the fakeness of this relationship and his sexual preferences.
MJ arrives at Sherv’s house. MJ’s mission this season is to call everyone out on their lies. She’s apparently starting with Sherv. So she just announces to Annalise that she thinks Sherv is cheating on her. Why on earth is that her business? Doesn’t she have enough going on in her own life? Annalise says that she believes Sherv and they have a very open and honest relationship.
GG tells Shalom she is ready for a proposal. She wants three kids, two big dogs, and horses. She has it all planned out in her head. I hope she gets everything she wants.
Reza has written a three person play based on the story of his Muslim Grandmother and his Jewish grandmother planning his wedding. MJ is the Muslim grandma and Reza is the Jewish grandma. Jefferson is the waiter. It’s ridiculous.
GG is in NYC for her play. The theater is tiny. It’s time for her first walk-through. She did great!
Vida and MJ go to lunch at The Biltmore so that MJ can tell her mom she is ready to get pregnant. Vida hates the whole idea. Because, Vida. She says Tommy would make a terrible father and he is really not interested in being one.
The guys and Destiney go to help MJ paint. A lot of trash is talked about Asa not coming because she is pregnant. Um, she is pregnant. Very pregnant. And MJ is not her friend! What is wrong these people? Reza deliberately put gray paint of MJ’s new couch? I do not understand what I am watching here. While I am trying to make sense out of this scene, Sherv just randomly announces has cheated on Annalise. Multiple times. MJ starts right away calling Sherv a piece of shit. Destiney is not happy with him either.
Vida arrives and loses her mind over what they have done to the condo. When Vida is the only sane person in the room, there is a problem. Then Tommy shows up. Vida turns her attention on Tommy. She says that Tommy is not the right one for MJ. Honestly, I think Tommy is a perfect match for MJ, he treats her like a queen and totally ignores all of her crazy. Like now for instance when MJ asks Vida how much it would cost to buy out her mom and have her retire when the baby comes. Vida says $100,000. She tells Vida to cash it when she has her baby. Vida tears the check up and says she doesn’t want that kind of money from her and “a baby has nothing to do with her”. MJ starts crying. Tommy points out that on the scale of 1 to Vida that wasn’t even that bad. I didn’t see the big deal either. This is Vida we are talking about, she says ten or twenty hurtful things to MJ any time they are in the same room. Tommy tries to console her. She has been drinking tequila and is all in her feelings. Vida leaves.
MJ asks Tommy if he really wants to have a baby. He says he does, but he thinks they need to make some preparations for a baby. He points out they are not ready. He does this while they are standing in an apartment that is completely destroyed. He also says this is something people usually do when they are 20, not 40 (or in this case 45!).Tommy says that neither of them are very healthy. He lost his mother when he was young and he doesn’t want to leave child without a parent. Tommy is the voice of reason. MJ is the voice of Patron.
Reza tries to tell MJ she is overreacting? Tommy says that neither one of them are ready to have a kid. He asks her how many shots she has had today. She’s not the least bit logical or sober and now she is making no sense saying she is going to get pregnant with another guy. Reza seems to know about this guy. Is she cheating on Tommy? Is that why she is all up in everyone else’s business to deflect from her own cheating? Now Tommy is crying about his mother and how alone he has been his whole life. Everyone leaves. A very sad drunken argument goes down. MJ is a mean fighter. She is saying things she can never take back. Destiney is the only one still there. She looks terrified. MJ tells Tommy she is done with him and to never call her again. Tommy leaves. Then it seems that MJ is drunk in her Talking Head! She’s crying about her father. This is all just madness.
Next Week: Mike signs his divorce papers. Everyone goes to NYC to see GG’s play. Reza and Adam go to the rabbi to discuss surrogacy. GG has an epic breakdown. And probably gets engaged.
