Kenya Moore will be twirling her way over to VH1 for the new season of “Hip Hop Squares”, the newly married housewife will be appearing on two episodes for the upcoming season and will see the celebrities being grilled on music, pop culture and much more.
Season two of the new hit show comes of the heels of a highly successful first season which debuted to over 3.2 million viewers on premiere night and was the top cable non sports show in it’s time period and ranked as VH1’s highest rated new series in a year, according to the network.
“Executive produced by rapper/actor Ice Cube, the classic game show “Hollywood Squares” is revitalized and given a lively new take. Taking part in the classic tic-tac-toe format of the original game are some of hip-hop culture’s biggest personalities, who match wits against one another to win cash prizes for members of the studio audience. Concluding each game is a bonus round, during which the winning celebrity and audience member try for a tic-tac-toe to double the total winnings. Celebrities appearing as contestants and squares include Amber Rose, Fat Joe, Mel B, Nelly, Tyga, Master P, Cedric the Entertainer, Bell Biv DeVoe, and Monica, along with stars from various VH1 reality shows. Comic DeRay Davis hosts.
The new season will include a wide variety of returning celebrities from season 1 and new ones including Lauren London, Blac Chyna, Tiffany Pollard, Tamar Braxton, Evelyn Lozada and many more. And with an 20 episode order for the new season, don’t be surprised if more of the Atlanta ladies pop in to play.
“Hip Hop Squares” returns for it second season on September 25 at 9:00pm ET on VH1.
