I’m behind on some of the less read recaps this week because there were multiple technical issues on the site that needed my attention. The bottom line is, I’m going to need my own private server. Which is good news, because that means the site is doing very well, but it’s also expensive and scary to jump up to the big leagues. While all that was going on this week, I didn’t get to Teen Mom until now, although I’ve already been told it was a very exciting episode and had people hunting for the recap. Let’s get right to all the action.
Baby Watson is four months old, and Chelsea is already to try for another baby. Cole is down for it as well. I feel like this relationship is going to work out so I say have all the babies you want. They can afford it. Eventually, Chelsea decides to wait until after the reception in four months to get pregnant again. She does after all have a wedding reception gown she wants to fit in.
It seems as though Kailyn has realized that it is not good for the kids to have a PFA against Javi. Lincoln has signed up for soccer and they will both want to be there for his game. Also, she might just want to pull the stick out of her ass and treat Javi like a human. She is the reason they divorced, not him.
On the way to soccer Lincoln asks where Javi is. Kail tells him he will meet them on the field and he will be there to watch his practice and maybe Isaac’s game. Lincoln says, “Mommy you are so mad at daddy.” Yep, Lincoln is on to his mother. Lincoln completely freaked out being around so many other kids and didn’t want to participate in practice. Javi told him he had to finish what he started and he eventually got the hang of it.
Javi stays to watch Isaac’s game (no Jo in sight) and he seems to be reminiscing a bit with Kail for reasons I cannot fathom and she shuts it down, but not in a bitchy way.
Kaiser has already assumed the role of raising his baby sister, Ensley. He’s officially the most responsible person in the room. David is busy talking about how Jace is basically neglected by Barbara and if he were around more they could build tree houses and make forts. You know what you should be making, David? Your own money. Jenelle on the other hand needs to start making some sense. She has a court date approaching in a month or two regarding custody of Jace. She is just sure she is going to get custody and that the judge will find her to be the better parent. Jenelle says she is trying so hard to save things before Jace has a fucked up childhood. Um, hello? Jace probably needed in patient therapy now. He beats up kids at school, Barbara, his siblings and anyone else in his path. His anger issues are completely obvious. I hope the judge mandates some in patient therapy for that kid. I fear he is already doomed.
Barbara tells her friend and or a producer that Jace is in therapy once a week now. She claims that the other night he cried like a baby and begged her not to send him to Jenelle. I am not sure whether to believe that or not because it is self-serving to her side of the court case; however, the last time Jace went to stay with Jenelle he said it was “horrible.” She says that he told her that Marissa and David are very mean to him.
Barbara didn’t take Jace to stay with Jenelle that weekend. Jenelle and David decided to hunt her down and she was at a restaurant with Jace and her other grandson. David was taping them. Jenelle was concerned because Barbara was having a glass of wine. Um, wasn’t she doing heroin around Jace when he was a baby? Parents don’t have to stay sober for 18 years. David blocked the car in with his truck while Jenelle caused an ugly scene. I saw a piece of unaired footage of Barbara’s side. She says that Jenelle and David showed up and disrupted a dinner she was having with friends. She decided to just leave and didn’t even get to have a glass of wine. She had one sip and then had to get the boys out of there. Actually, she had three little kids with her.
Jenelle tells the producer pretty much the exact same story Barb did. They ambushed her at a restaurant, David went in and secretly took photos. Jenelle went in and caused a bit stink. Jenelle gives the same one sip of wine story and says that is still drinking. Jenelle stalked her and the three small children to the car and then showed up at Barbara’s house and banged on the doors for TWO HOURS with the kids inside. Jenelle called the cops and Barbara opened the door for the cops an told them what was going on and they told Jenelle and David to get off the property and leave. David and Jenelle both think this behavior helps Jenelle’s custody battle. David says she is just keeping Jace from them because she knows she is losing custody and it getting in all the time she can.
Last we saw this crew, Ali was in ER having trouble breathing. She’s home now, but her breathing is not yet back to normal. Where did this adorable pit bull puppy come from and who decided that was a good idea? Corey is really concerned about Ali and is hoping for answers soon about whether the respiratory issues are related to her muscular dystrophy issues or if maybe it is just some other minor thing. It is so sad that Ali knows what an electrocardiogram is.
Watching Leah with these three girls all going in different directions is making me not want to have kids and I am not the target audience. Most of the time everything seems all sunshine and lollipops and new houses and moving. But Leah is the biggest cautionary tale this season, even though, or perhaps because, she is working her ass off with these girls. On the way to the out of town doctor, Leah has to stop and pick up the wheelchair Ali uses at home. An MTV security guard and a producer have to help her because it’s so heavy.
The word is that Luis is going to find an apartment near Brianna to be nearby to help raise Stella. I don’t think Mama Joyce’s Streets would agree with that rumor. Luis does show up for her doctor’s appointment the next day. It’s there that Luis says that he is looking for an apartment on the other side of town. Briana is furious.
A few days later, Briana meets with Luis. Briana is super sad. Nothing is resolved. In the episode description it says that Briana gives Luis an ultimatum. I didn’t see that.
