First of all, I am so annoyed with Page Six and their eleventy billion misleading stories about Luann’s divorce. Yesterday, they were just throwing pasta at the wall to see what would stick. They said things like both Tom and Luann filed for divorce yesterday in Sag Harbour. That is just a ridiculous statement. I’ve never been divorced, but pretty much everyone else in the world has it seems and everyone knows that divorce is a legal action by one party taken against another. Someone is the petitioner and someone is the respondent. In the olden days, men generally allow the woman to be the petitioner. So no, Page Six, they did not file together.
In today’s stupidity for Page Six they claim that Jacques was the reason for the break up. Seriously? Jacques has a girlfriend. Luann has been split from him for years. Who the hell is paying Page Six to run these stupid stories?
So Luann had to call them and set them straight. She told Page Six, “Jacques has a girlfriend and he’s staying in a hotel, we’re friends, he’s not staying at my house. There’s no truth to the story of Jacques and me. God knows I’ve been going through enough recently, I don’t understand why this false rumor is coming at me.”
So what is the title of their piece with the Luann quotes?” Luann’s ex Jacques prompted Tom to file for divorce” (capitalization, theirs). What has happened to this site???
”It was impossible, we were having problems and we tried really hard to fix things, and we finally came to the conclusion it was just not going to work. It was a tough decision and we are both very sad about it. But the truth is we just weren’t getting along. I do not think Tom cheated on me, definitely not. God knows he’s got himself in some trouble in the past, but I don’t believe that continued.”
I guess her actual statement that they just did not get along well was not enough for them. Why in the world would they make up some crap about HER cheating. All she talks about is Tom. If anyone was cheating it was Tom. It was clear he was still going out to bars without her at night. That does not make for a good marriage.
Clearly, Luann wanted a husband and Tom wanted more exposure to help him with his aging bachelor ways out at da club.
