I already know this episode is going to suck. The only person I like at all is Sherv. Reza has lost 40 pounds.
Lots of social media outrage over Reza’s choices of costumes and party decorations. Also lots of people have an issue with Reza saying “fuck Iran.” Reza says the costumes should not be offensive and his comments about Iran were about the government, not the oppressed citizens.
Reza has met Asa’s new baby and he and Sherv both said they love Asa and Jermaine and that they make a great couple.
Reza is asked who other than Adam would he choose from the cast to be his emergency contact. He said MJ. I’m shocked. I would have thought he’d pick Asa. Both guys said they would be happy to be GG’s emergency contact. Sherv said he has already been her emergency contact in the past.
Reza says MJ will probably be a great parent because she has seen all the worst things a mother can do to her child and knows what not to do.
Reza says that his father has dementia so at this point communication is very difficult.
Reza ran into Jessica at The Grove and it was awkward because he wasn’t sure how to react.
Reza says he shaved his mustache because his face looks fatter without the mustache, and he used his fat face as inspiration to keep going on his weight loss plan.
Well everyone was on their best behavior tonight so it wasn’t as tortuous as I thought. On the other hand we didn’t learn much important information.
Reza looks great. Shervin was a bit of a bore, but he was mainly unsuccessful in speaking because Reza and Andy dominated the conversation.
I wish Reza would shut up for a second and hear what they’re actually saying about his comments, because he’s fighting everyone for no reason!
Reza is bully but it makes for good tv. Happy to hear he is standing by MJ; they go back many years.
Is Sherv really with that girl? What is the deal?
I love Shervin. Too bad he didn’t get more of an opportunity to talk. Agree with Jen that Reza is a bully. He loves to stir up trouble, but that’s one of the reasons we watch. Israel trip could be a train wreck if they all get drunk & misbehave. Off topic, it really pisses me off that when viewers call in and start their conversation with “I love you, Andy,” he sometimes gets this irritated, impatient look on his face, as if to say “Yeah, yeah, move along with your question.” I think reality tv fame has gone to his head & he isn’t very gracious.
Andy left Gracious many many years ago.
I thought Resa’s party was brilliant. He took the typical stereotypes from each religion and made fun of them. If people can’t laugh at themselves or take things too seriously, then they probably shouldn’t be watching Bravo for crying out loud.
I loved it when Reza broke down the casts religions and nationalities. So interesting!!
Agree! I actually rewatched the episode 3 times (ff through MJ’s ovulation bs). I would love more about the Persian culture and the conflict of Jew vs Muslim.
My husband’s paternal side was utterly destroyed in the Holocaust. They were in Austria, apolitical and nonreligious. But great-grandma was born a Jew.
Culture fascinates me.
More Shah food scenes please! With recipes!
Reza is right to stand up against the government of Iran. The present culture does not just advocate the murder gays and women, it is done. When I hear others on the show rise to their defense I wonder why on earth they can benefit by our freedoms and still cling to the culture that would kill them if given half a chance. I think they lead such vacuous lives they are ignorant of what is happening to the people they left behind.
