Big Brother 19: Jessica Is Cleaning Up!

July 26, 2017 by tamaratattles 28 Comments

Chop By EarthDogg

My errands took me much longer than the time I allotted so I am very behind tonight. I am going to make this a super quick post to give us a new place to chat. I’m sure we are all watching the show anyway.

We start this episode with Josh bawling his eyes out in the bathroom over being on the block. Mama Christmas comes to give him some emotional support. Never fear Joshie boy. Paul wants you in the house, so you should be good this week. If Paul pulls this off, the blindside of her HOH will be delicious.

Cody is has decided to pay a social game this time around. Ya think?

Chop By Earthdog.

The POV challenge is the explosion one. They had to memorize a list of ingredients and pour a certain ingredient into their smoothie. If they are wrong the paint explodes all of over them and they are out. Christmas was out first. Jessica won.

Josh agrees to keep acting dejected for the rest of the week. The blindside is all set to play. But I read tonight that Kevin screws up the blindside somehow. Not sure if it will happen in this episode or if it happened in real time tonight. If it is the latter, then the feeds will be good tonight.

Ramses talks to Jessica and tells her that people have voted for him to leave the last time he was on the block and if those people have influence over the group he could totally be going home. Jessica considers this and is worried about it. She explains to Cody exactly how things are going down. She wants to take Ramses down and put Alex up. Cody told her there is no way Josh is not going to be voted out. Jessica says she doesn’t want to look back at a wasted HOH on Thursday with Ramsey’s leaving.

Instead of listening to her gut, she listens to Cody and does not use the veto.

I don’t really include Jason in that group… You could tell it was hard for him to break down…but it was super sweet the things that he said about his son and his wife.

Do yourself a favor and go watch the live feed clip of Mark and Elena doing gymnastics. I was dying laughing. I could watch Mark doing that for hours.

Yeah but earlier tonight, Kevin told her that the house might flip and not to say anything. Pissed me smooth off. Big Mouth!

          True.

Kevin is playing a hell of a game. He is entertaining Jody with funny stories. They will not put him up until very late in the game. Same for The Pauls.

If he makes final two he can say he took $25K and blamed Ramses, threw all the comps, had a great social game, everyone in the house loved him, made hinky votes to cause problems within alliances, pretended not to know anything about the game, threw challenges and made himself appear weak.

I’m so on board with the game Kevin is playing, but I feel like he forgets that Paul knows where some of the bodies are buried, so to be giving Jessica info about the vote flip plan is a little dangerous should Paul find out where that info came from. I assume he is just stirring the pot, but I hope it doesn’t come back to bite him. Wonder if Kevin is trying to get in Jessica’s good graces because she is playing up he power of her temptation, he seemed to be nervous about it after she said it’s better than Paul’s. On that note, do you know how many more weeks she has to use the Hex? Am I correct that she’ll have one more week after tonight?

I actually started to respect Jessica when she didn’t fall apart when Cody left and started to gameplay. She’s also obviously a good competitor. Now this stupid move of winning veto and keeping Ramses on the block with Josh just solidifies that she is the idiot I initially thought her to be. The irony being, if Cody had not come back in and she were left to her own devices, she probably would have made the right decision. She listened to his useless advice rather than replacing Ramses with Alex.

Totally agree about Jess. I don’t like her but when Cody was out of the house she is very smart and a good competitor. Now she is listening to Cody who is a moron and has ZERO strategic game. He is good at comps but that isn’t all it takes to win this game. Josh and Mark are the biggest cry baby lunkheads! They suck at comps AND strategy. I love when they play the holiday music during Christmas’s scenes. Cracks me up.

Im sure Jess is banking on the fact she has the advantage and feels strongly that Cody will win the next Hoh therefore giving them at least one more week to eliminate part of the other team. Because Cody is such a beast at the comps this could actually buy her 2 weeks if win this week. If they are smart enough to break apart at some of the alliance on the other side they may stand a chance at breaking down the Paul’s. Maybe someone will realize that they are on the bottom of the other team and flip and will actually have a game here. I love that Kevin is quietly stirring the pot. Someone needs to. Let’s stop playing the bachelor and start playing BB.

I love all the Paul’s in that first picture! Just a few things from last night’s show & BBAD. The sound of the silverware clanking on the plates and bowls this year is DEAFENING, and these people seem to eat non-stop. And speaking of sounds, Elena constantly smacking her lips as she’s talking is beyond annoying. Last, but not least, the way Paul speaks with such conviction about everything, even when he’s so off-base and has no idea what he’s talking about, just amazes me. It’s one of the reasons so many of them in the house are mesmerized by him. He just always sounds like he knows what he’s talking about so the others start to doubt themselves. On BBAD last night the sound kept cutting out. Were they talking about things that BB didn’t want us to hear or were they just having technical difficulties?

As usual, I really wanted to get to bed early last night after a long day, but Wednesday nights before eviction are usually good feeds.

Last night, Elena brutally and viciously dumped Mark. Mark has continued to be loyal to Cody, even though Cody doesn not believe that to be true. As I have said many times, Elena will pick Paul over Mark every day of the week. I fell asleep watching Mark in his usual emotional distress while Elena belittled him. I hope Elena dies in a fire.

Whoa! I hope her days in the house are numbered. I know she’s had her sights set on Paul since he walked through the door. I’m glad she’s too stupid to realize that Paul is playing her. I hate her even more for making me feel sorry for that big lug Mark.

Mark reminds me of the stereotypical former football player that’s big and strong but not so smart and savvy like you need to be in this game. He sometimes shows heart so I kinda like him when he’s not being used by one of the douche bags to carry out their evil plans. Elena on the other hand I read as an opportunist from the start. I think she’ll use whoever is in her path to get what she wants. I hate when women think that they are empowering themselves by stepping on others backs to meet their goals. Do it by your own merits not by hurting other people and being sneaky and vindictive.

Mark is extremely smart. He is the best chess player in the house by far. He consistently beats Paul which is why Paul rarely plays him and never with an audience.

Mark emotional level is low. He has issues controlling his emotions. He has anger problems. He cries easily, he is quick to want to form emotional connections with others and is unable to assess their motives.

He’s not dumb. He just has some sort of developmental issues regarding his emotions. Emotionally he functions like a four year old. It is something Dom, and Christmas have tried to work through with him.

Josh has the same emotional issues though he is emotionally about 13. His basic IQ appears to be a full standard deviation below the mean, so he’s not working with the intellectual capacity Mark has. But he has that false confidence that has him blustering into situations that are to put it mildly, not helpful to his game.

I agree about Josh which is why I was pleasantly surprised at how convincingly he was able to play the “I’m on the block, I know I’m the target, I’m so sorry and just want to enjoy my last days in the house” role in the house and specifically when talking to Jessica. I thought for sure that he would slip, give something up and blow it (like Raven did when Jessica asked her about the votes).

I see teacher-Tamara’s experience in your assessment of Mark and Josh. I have changed my mind about Mark several times. I love his big heart, hate when his anger gets the best of him, and cringe when Elena walks all over him. Paul and Kevin are playing the best games I think, like them or not. I wish Raven would go away–far, far away–and take Matt and his clang, clang, clanging metal spoon and bowl with him.

Oh I forgot to tell you what the HOH comp will be tonight. Last night the houseguests got to look briefly at photo of Cameron, Jillian and Dom. They were covered in tattoos front and back. They have to memorize the tattoos.

Elena knows them well, So does Paul. Possibly Christmas. Hard to tell what Cody retained from the photos.

Paul is trying to cut Elena out of the group. He is telling the group she is giving misinformation during study sessions.

Paul has a plan for “the six’ were three will be the true players and three will be the false players (they are assuming it will be true or false.) on any question where they have not drilled and they do not know the answer for sure, half with play true and half will play false to ensure that it doesn’t come down to Elena or Cody.

Oddly, Mark is loyal to Cody (but Paul and sway him) and Cody thinks Mark is playing him.

Elena is loyal to Paul and Jessica thinks she is with her, and Paul is trying to get Elena out.

Elena has caught on that the house is lying to her. Mark is not emotionally intelligent enough to pick up on any sort of social interactions so he thinks it’s about him. Elena won’t tell him because she can’t trust him to keep her mouth shut. She was planning on not winning veto, but now she is going for the win tonight. It’s about time for a double eviction night, however they have not advertised the show as such as far as I have seen. They have said a consequence will be unleashed on the house, but double eviction is always in the game so even though it would effect everyone, as the hex said, it would be a rather lame DoT punishment.

Raven’s health scam continues to take over the Internet. Social media is convinced that the entire family is a bunch of grifters. Also her two brothers are both registered sex offenders. There are law suits floating around about their disability scams.

If you want to look into all that, I suggest searching this hashtag on Twitter. #RavenExposedParty

If you are new to Twitter, (I’m looking at you Cheryl) I implore you NOT to use the hashtag or engage with the people using it. JUST READ IT. That is my advice to everyone as Raven’s mama is rallying Raven’s fans (she has fans?) to report people who say bad things about Raven and her family to CPS, their employers… and they are posting personal information and photos of the children of people who say things about Raven. It’s a Bucketload of Insanity best viewed from a distance WITHOUT ENGAGEMENT,

    Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Thank you TT. I have just been ignoring the situation until like you said, you will let us know the information regarding her. Until then, I am going to just hang tight for a post from you.
Sounds like the safest and smartest plan.
Looked briefly (out of curiosity, never heard of that#), and when a illness is involved (Lord knows, we’ve been through a few), I always get a bad feeling.
Thanks for the heads up, so I don’t wander where I shouldn’t, lol.
