Sammy Younai was the original cast member on Shahs of Sunset. He was literally the first person that the producers called. So it was really odd when he was let go after the first season. Granted he treated MJ like crap, encouraged her to get really drunk, put her in comprising situations and came off as a chauvinist pig but Reza exhibited a lot of the same behaviors eventually.
When it comes to TMZ I have learned to pay close attention to the reasons for their articles being posted when they are. Their sources also have motivations for speaking to them. Often times the real housewife of wherever is the actual source. That was certainly the case in their continued misreporting of Phaedra’s divorce. Phaedra writes that narrative. And if Phaedra called me up and told me she was divorced from Apollo, I’d probably report it. Because who lies about being divorced? Sidenote, Phaedra is divorced now, I read the court papers last week. That is why she is selling the house now. She can divide the marital assets.
Anyway, TMZ is running a story today about Sammy that says, “Sammy was recently dating a woman who wanted rough sex. He emphatically shut it down unless she agreed to put something in writing to protect him from sexual assault claims.”
FUN FACT: Sammy got married in June 2016. He gave interviews indicating that he was ready to start a family. The TMZ story is very ambiguous on the timing of this sex contract. Click the link to read the entire story. But the shorter version is they claim after the contract, they had rough sex and she peed on his bed. She claimed he then threatened to expose her sexual proclivities publicly if she did not replace the mattress. TMZ says that their Sammy sources deny he ever asked for any money for the mattress. She filed an extortion claim with the police and the case was tossed for lack of evidence.
None of this would be shocking behavior to me when it comes to Sammy. However, he is married now. So if this situation occurred during the marriage, it would be very detrimental to his marriage unless his wife already knew about his behavior. I did also read last year that Sammy’s neighbors complained to the city council about him renting out his house through AirBnB on the weekends so that the renters could throw large parties. That doesn’t sound like settling down, unless the married couple lived elsewhere and the house being reported was strictly a rental.
I guess my question for you guys is, “What is the motivation for TMZ to run a story about an allegation that they know lacked any evidence for a criminal charge?” Basically, the story is Sammy was accused of sexual extortion, but there is no evidence at all that any such thing occurred? Who could be behind this bizarre story?
