Tamra Judge Talks About Her Facelift and Eye Lift

July 11, 2017 by tamaratattles 35 Comments

On last night’s WWHL, Tamra Judge announced that she had a face lift, or as she calls it a comeback. As it turns out she had a bit more than that.

Tamra just posted this on Instagram.

I’m getting an overwhelming amount of messages about my surgury. I thought I’d post some of your answers here. My doctors name is Dr. Milind Ambe of Newport Beach , @milindambemd you’ve probably seen him on the show before. These pics were taking all within the first week. Yes I was scared shitless! But I’ve seen Dr. Ambe’s work on my Mom and knew I was in good hands. I wanted a very natural look and it’s exactly what he’s known for. There was little pain and bruising involved (everyone is different) the hardest part for me was staying still for 2 weeks.

On day 12 I got the stomach flu which sucked! Today it’s been 17 days and I feel great, my neck is still stiff and my ears and jawline are slightly swollen and numb. That will all change in a few weeks. Incision are behind my ear and hairline, under my chin. If you have any personal questions send me an email [email protected] I’m open and honest about it because I want women to know that everyone gets old even people on TV and there is nothing wrong with growing old gracefully if that’s what you want…… It’s jut not for me! ?. I like to keep it real! #lowerfacelift#eyetuck. #callitacomeback ?

I’m going to need you plastic surgery types to explain the tracks on her face to me.  I used to think about the chin surgery that they show on TV… I think it might have been a neck lift or something and someone told me that basically the put a tiny barbed wire string in there and pull things up. Ew. No mam. No thank you.

What work have you had done?

On WWHL she only admitted to the chin tuck, but who cares? After 17 days she looked pretty darn good! Wasn’t a big fan of the cheek contouring that was way too dark, but hey- if you’ve got the money and the inclination to do it- why not? I say go Tamra! She’s right about those using fillers and looking like cabbage patch dolls! Goodness knows she is pretty! And it’s nice to see plastic surgery that looks good and natural vs Vicki gunvlason’s numerous botched attempts to make her look….attractive?

Actually I think that I heard her say that she had a mini lower face lift. Neck chin, etc. Plus eye surgery. For being two weeks post proceedure, I think that she looks great. It just goes to show that if you are in good shape, you bounce back more quickly that if you are not.

The tracks are from the marker they use to mark her face before surgery. I had my boobs reduced from a 44DD to a 40C in the late 80s. I’ve gained a couple of pounds since then and they grew back to their original size. I guess they were meant to be here. ???

I’ve heard breast reductions often result in the darn things growing back! God knows best! Lol.

I went from a 40H or 40DDDD to 38D. They took out ten pounds of boobs. Other doctors have always complimented them so guess Dr. LOVE DID A good job.

I had breast reduction reconstruction after breast cancer. Best thing I ever did. Yes, if you gain weight they will grow larger. They will also return to post surgery size if you loose it. I own a scale, but rarely use it. My bra fit tells me when I need to watch what I eat. I hear that liposuction works the same way.

Good for you, ladies. I have always marveled at breast implants. I want smaller, not bigger, and although hubby likes heft, I would kill to be flat and free!

I’m so confused. Can anyone explain how the band size (basically your measure directly related to your ribcage circumference) would also reduce with a breast reduction? I thought just the cup size was affected during a breast augmentation. Sorry if the question seems weird –

That fish hook thing is a gimmick used by some company offering discount chin lifts. It’s not what a plastic surgeon would do.

The black ink marks are landmarks for the surgeon because your face is in a different position when you’re prone.

I added the question specfically for you and you did not answer! And I would think if those marks were ink she would have washed them off a week later, no?

I don’t think it’s necessarily a gimmick… in Australia we have something we call a stitch lift. I understand there are multiple fine surgical threads stitched through the underlying tissue and pulled tighter to achieve the effect. I have a friend that did that rather than a lower facelift at the recommendation of the Dr and it looked fabulous. In that situation apparently she was not yet really needing the facelift and this would give a more natural outcome.

She is young for surgery, isn’t she? Yet, she does look great. I’m all for self improvement and feeling good about yourself.

First impression: I can see more of her mother in her now.

She looks nice. But she’s still Tamra though, and all the cosmetic surgery in the world won’t change the fact that what she really needs is a personality transplant.

Kathy Bates is my favorite actress because she owns her face, body mind and spirit. An inspiration for those to grow old gracefully. It doesn’t hurt that Kathy’s full of grace in the first place. Her number one fan will be waiting. Counting crowfeet in my reflection. It’s hard to begrudge or judge those who don’t want to look their age. You’re only as old as you feel otherwise youth is an illusion.

I agree, TD. PLUS, it’s a losing battle. I would definitely love to look much younger, but I would have to fight aging every day. I don’t have the time or the money. It seems the entertainment industry demands eternal youth. Tamra is beautiful and I think she will look that way for years to come.

I’m curious. Does anyone know how much this type of procedure costs?

I would put the procedures at around 20 grand. However she may have gotten a huge discount for all the publicity she is giving her doctor. If Zolziak would ever copt to her nose job , she could have gotten a discount as well. I could be low on those figures as everything in California is higher.

It looks to me like she got the cheek implants or fillers Brandi got before that last RHBH she was a part of.

When I found out I have a breast cancer gene mutation I opted for a bilateral mastectomy with full reconstruction of my breasts. I’ve also had lipo, a tummy tuck, and fat transfers. I’m very open about all my “work”. Most of mine was done out of necessity but I think if you can afford to do it, you have a good surgeon, and you know what to expect then go for it. I’d like to try Botox on my forehead but I’m afraid to do it-which is silly considering everything I’ve had done.

Give it a try. Pretty inexpensive and, unlike other things, if you don’t like it, it is gone in a few months anyway. I have a fear of facelifts so I am going to do everything in my power to fight against it.

I tried botox for the first time on my forehead back in December of last year. It looked great for about 6 months. I may try some around my eyes next time.

Yes, you do indeed sound cool. Being okay about yourself is everything. Vide TD on the eternally awesome Kathy Bates–who can look like anything (ever see AHS Freak Show?), and it’s FINE, ’cause she is always so comfortable in her own skin.

I understand that her face is greasy looking in the first picture due to ointments. But why is it so greasy in the glam photo?

I guess I’m just not a fan of the dewy moist look. I want to blot her down with a paper towel and maybe rub some gritty sand on her face. ?

Her jawline looks really good, but I thought her face looked like a mask on aWWHL, but that could be the shimmery makeup. I think it’s awesome she is honest about her work. I am 45 and have never had anything done. I try to limit sun exposure an away from booze. I started using prescription Retin-A a couple years ago to combat breakouts and have noticed MAJOR reduction in fine lines and my skin tone is much firmer and more even. I highly recommend!! I am a poor so doubt any plastic surgery is in my future. Maybe a breast reduction if I can get insurance to cover it. I wear a 40J bra and I am really having back issues lately. I also hate how they look and it is very hard to find tops that fit my boobs but are not too big every where else. Forget about finding dresses to fit!!

I have never had plastic surgery but I am an esthetician and I try to keep up to date on new skin treatments . There is a type of facelift you can get where the Dr. inserts threads in to the skin that can be tightened . The sutures in the skin cause the skin to go in to repair mode and produce collagen. The threads have tiny umbrella like cones attached which help to control the tightening. The threads are absorbed where as old thread procedures had the sutures be permanent . This procedure can be done in 2 hours with little to no anesthesia. It’s especially good for lower jaw lifts . I think it’s pretty cool lol. I’ll probably never be able to afford it so I’ll stick to microderms and glycolic peels that I can do to myself lol.
