Danielle and Cody
When last we left these two they were enjoying a romantic Friday night in front of the fire. Did they finally do the deed? They did not. Sigh. These two celebrate their anniversary at home. There is zero chemistry here. Later they have what was clearly set up to be a romantic walk on the river. Cody is crying about something that he just found out. He apparently got some bad news of some sort and is not saying what it is on camera.
Anthony and Ashley
Ashley has decided that they are getting a pet….snail. They end up getting two snails and a fish. They seem to see this as trial parenting. These two went out to dinner for their anniversary. They seem like an old married couple, not newlyweds. Anthony gives her a bracelet with a flashlight and the letter A on it to match the necklace he gave her on their wedding day that I have never seen her wear. Then they go to play cornhole. They don’t play well and Ashley just quits. She doesn’t want to be embarrassed on TV by playing cornhole poorly. Anthony is irritated that Ashley is so concerned with what people think.
Sheila and Nate
Sheila and Nate’s mom talk on their own it goes exactly how you would imagine. On the way home, Nate takes Sheila to a Bed & Breakfast for her birthday and their one month anniversary. There is no one at the B & B except them. Nate thinks the place is haunted and isn’t happy to be there. He says the place has bad energy. They eventually settle in and talk about their marriage. Sheila cries with happiness. Later they go to winery and have a great time. Then the next night at dinner, Sheila flips out over a conversation about Nate living in a garage for $2oo. The fight makes no sense? Is this something he did long before meeting her or does he still live in a garage. Didn’t we see his real apartment? Why is this an issue. He had a lot of credit card debit he wanted to pay off. Sounds reasonable to me, but to Sheila it’s sign that he is in dire financial trouble. I think we lost the real story to the cutting room floor.
The next day when they are driving into the little nearby town, something happened in the car and Sheila isn’t speaking to Nate. Dayum girl! What is it now? Sheila refuses to have arguments with Nate on camera. It’s completely ridiculous. That is the whole point of the show? Is she being fake happy when the camera’s are on? She certainly has not problem being a complete bitch to Nate and the producer though.
Next Week: The three couples meet for dinner. Things get awkward.
Vanessa breaks Myles heart by dumping him. She lives with the guy with the yellow hair for a week and things are fine except he smacks when he eats. This may sound like a small problem, but for me it is a deal breaker. David and the brunette fight a lot. David had flashbacks to his wife from the first season. Both relationships have one thing in common. David is just bad at relationships.
