It’s been about two weeks since Kenya Moore got married and almost as long since I exclusively broke the story. The haters immediately started their trash talking began. Finally, someone was stepped in to defend Kenya, and that somebody is Chef Roble.
He has commented on Kenya’s Instagram to let everyone know that he introduced the bride and groom. Roble has been friends with Kenya for a few years now and is also close with her new husband, Marc Daly who is a prominent businessman and investor in NYC who owns multiple properties some of which are restaurants.
According to Roble, he introduced the two because he thought they would really hit it off. And apparently, once Kenya handled the Matt situation, they REALLY hit it off. Kenya was granted a restraining order earlier this month to keep Matt away from her and her family, which now includes her husband for a full year.
I realize this won’t stop the haters. But it’s nice to see someone stand up for Kenya.
In other Kenya news, she will be in Michigan tomorrow and Friday with Teresa Giudice and Ashley Darby to perform the Vagina Monologues. Sigh. I am not making this up. Who thought this was a good idea?
And I leave you to go prep for RHONY with this comment by Kenya, “Over the last months I have learned a lot about myself. I reflected and realized that changing my behavior starts with me. I will not be defined by my previous mistakes or bad decisions. My life is what is in front of me and not the things Or people I left behind. Thank you God for this wisdom. Thank you God for my new life.”
I’m starting to wonder if the reason Andy Cohen’s panties are so bunched is because Kenya is leaving the show. Contrary to popular belief, I have no direct line to Kenya, as far as I know she is returning to the show for season 10. She has a contract and breaking it at the last-minute would be a problem. But it is good see that she has her priorities in order and is happy to be entering a new chapter.
