Al Manzo Is Building A Giant Castle To Host Events

June 21, 2017 by tamaratattles 25 Comments

You would think that Al and Caroline Manzo would be ready to retire and let their kids take care of them for a change. Caroline’s Instagram shows photos of both of them doting on their first grandchild, Markie. But Caroline is busy making and selling soaps and her business is going strong. And as it turns out, Al has been busy building a castle.

According to their website, the Legacy Castle will be “the premier catering facility of the metropolitan area in prestigious Pompton Plains New Jersey. Access is directly off of Route 23 South and conveniently located in between Route 80 and Route 287. Our goal is to provide you with excellent service, exquisite food, and an experience which surpasses all of your expectations. The exterior façade, outdoor gardens, interior décor, and ambiance is based on a theme of classic elegance.”

Caroline posted a video of the building progress and it’s a pretty impressive undertaking. The Legacy Castle expects to be open for business in the fall of this year.

When your husband tells you he's building a Castle, believe him. So excited for the Grand Opening of @thelegacycastle event facility in Pompton Plains, NJ , Fall of '17! Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for updates!

There must be about 50 different banquet facilities in that area. I don’t think they need another.

It’s a hideous monstrosity that you can see right off the highway. Can’t wait to see when what happens when the area floods.

Wasn’t there a report that they owed a big chunk of back taxes? Who’s financing that monstrosity?

What a great venue for a wedding!! There may be other options in their area but I predict there will be no shortages of brides booking their weddings.

You certainly can’t say Albert Manzo doesn’t work hard enough, props to him for keeping up the pace and getting himself healthy, to boot. I remember there were serious health concerns for him years ago, I think about his heart/weight?

Hopefully he builds something he passes on to his kids and they won’t run it into the ground lol

He was very overweight and pretty much working 24/7 at the Brownstone. He got the lap band surgery and has done well ever since. Not that crazy about Caroline and her kids, but I’ve always liked Al.

Hey! Speak for your own state. Lol.
I live In NJ and It’s not my taste but I certainly wish them well! A tremendous amount of work and detail went into the designing and building. I believe Al father’s built, “The Brownstone”? Perhaps this was an opportunity for him to build something, on his own, from the ground up- a legacy to his family.

More like a French Chateau…. a major monetary undertaking. Assume they did not use the Joe Gorga construction company to build it.

Am i the only surprised at the “how financially” this happened? Maybe I am just jaded because of the Guidice’s and Melissa’s?

Good for them. They worked hard before RHOJ and have continued to work hard and not just rely on TV like most of the others. The Brownstone has been around for a long time and you dont last that long without knowing what you are doing and providing good service.
Weddings are big business in all areas of the country and with the upswing in the economy, I see this new venue being a success. I see Albie, Chris, and Vito playing a big role in the new family venture.

I only liked Caroline on Rhonj. Not her own show, she was insufferable. She should return to Rhonj.
