Last Sunday, while we were all glued to the jaw dropping finale of Real Housewives of Atlanta, my favorite Real Housewife of New Jersey, Greggy Bennett, was doing a live reading with group called Here for Drama that organizes live readings of reality show episodes for charity in Brooklyn. By all accounts the small venue was packed with standing room only and a great time was had by all.
Previously the group did a dramatic reading of Scary Island with Michelle Collins and Brian Moylan receiving much critical acclaim on social media. This time, they chose December: Berkshires County.
Greg Bennett played the part of Luann and Jessica Williams ( The Daily Show) played Ramona. Ryan Houlihan (Billy On The Street) was a spot on version of Bethenny. I could not find out who played Dorinda. 🙁
Proceeds from this will go to the New York Women’s Foundation. They made it nice! There was Christmas party afterward with Dorinda’s birthday cake and cocktails and raffles with some awesome prizes. I have a feeling their next reading will be at a bigger location as word gets out. It’s pretty fabulous that the Real Housewives franchise is finally leading to something beneficial to women. Word on Mama Joyce’s streets is that the next episode will be The Dinner Party From Hell (RHOBH).
Do you know where we can listen to this at, T?
Not sure some say it was on radio andy if you have that? Maybe Greggy will let us know?
I like Greg also. It’s nice to hear others also recognize his charm. Can I assume he is happy in life?
Without any other comment, nothing at all about situation. The flicking of a cigarette is the least hurtful thing a person could do. Stepping on a toe is worse, pinching is worse, etc. I heard a talk once about self defense etc and that was brought up. Every professional on stage either smiled or laughed out loud. They Explained to even get a very small burn the lit end would have to pressed against skin. It doesn’t stick to you you especially whe a person is in motion. Flicking is disrespectful at the most. One man called it sissy.
Never thought I’d ever have the opportunity to pass on my incredible knowledge. <~~ sarcasm
I’d love to be able to hear these as well and thrilled that this trash is being used in a beneficial way. Maybe if it becomes a regular thing, it could be another money maker for the charity.
