There is literally so much good stuff on TV on Tuesday Night it takes me a long time get through it all. I love this show! Despite my best efforts and mental strength, I have apparently still not managed to cause the good people to spontaneously combust. I can only hope that this week, we lose at least one of them. Most likely that will be Alonzo. The good people go off as a group to get water. Because they are stupid. I hope that Cody and Makani piss in their tent and their stolen peanut butter.
Alonzo is talking to Alex about recruiting Cody to their side. Yes! I love the smell of desparation in the morning! They are planning to tell him he can’t eat unless he joins their side. Cody is considering it. It is best for Cody to go with the majority. This is not a show about making friends, it’s a show about winning. That said, these morons have nothing to offer except numbers. Well, and food. Let’s see how many good people get injured, tap out or in some other way screw up this leg of the race.
Makani says all she is carrying is her tent since that is all one of them carried last week. So bickering begins among the good people over who carries what. The good people say that Makani is bullying them. LOL. Alex says he has a peanut butter jar full of water that takes his one hand, so he can’t carry anything else. Cody even calls bullshit on that so he has a hissy fit and tosses his water. #pussy
This week’s journey is just under two miles. They have two hours. I love how Makani is leading the way while the good people keep falling. I love watching the good people fall while Makani starts preaching about Karma. I have to rewind to see all the torture I missed while typing. Half an hour in they’ve gone about half a mile. Alex and Alzono are both falling all over themselves and whining like little girls. The “good girls” are doing just fine with few complaints. Makani continues to taunt them.
They BARELY made it. In fact they may have just given it to them. Alonzo and Alex make crybaby videos. Eilish (I think I have the name right) is bleeding all over and doesn’t mention it or notice until one of the whiny boys points it out.
At the new camp, Cody tries to point out the importance of working together for as long as they are there. Antagonizing Makani and bullying her is not going to allow them to benefit for her strength. They act like he’s talking crazy. After all, they are the good people who are now being bullied by Makani. The bitchy bleeding girl says she can’t stand lazy people. She’s not being self-loathing. Nope, she thinks Makani is lazy. Meanwhile, Makani has taken off with her tent and the remaining peanut butter. Alzono accuse Makani of having a pity party. Oh the delusion of the nice, good people. Cody points out that Makani is doing extremely well out there and she’s not going anywhere any time soon. He says this in response to Alonzo who has been threatening to quit for days. Eventually, Cody says if they can’t treat Makani with respect and fairness, he can’t work with them. Which is smart because if they didn’t NEED Cody, they would never have made him the offer.
While Alonzo whines about wanting to go home, Makani looks like she’s filming for a Sports Illustrated bikini issue frolicking under waterfalls. Please let Alonzo go home. Alex wants to quit too. Awesome! Ha! Gina is wavering now. I think these three should do a group suicide. Eilish is worried that if all three of the girls leave, the she has to work with “her.” Gee this sounds just like something Cody tried to tell them. Eilish is the only strong one on her team. Why the hell can’t she see she needs to be on the other side anyway? She too busy making friends and talking about what good people they are and how horrible the people who are doing well without them are. Cut to evil “her” sitting quietly on a rock by the river meditating.
It’s time for the temptation, Alex gets it because he is the only one who has not been. He stupidly wastes his friend pass on Alonzo. You know, Alonzo who will probably go home before sundown. So they go and they take the temptation which includes videos from home. Let’s home this makes them more homesick. But you know production is doing whatever they can to keep these two around because it’s only day 16 and the show is on the verge of being Naked and Afraid with clothes. Alex’s video is from his girlfriend who appears to be an adult woman dating a 24 year old child. Alonzo’s mom basically tells him to bring home the money. So we are stuck with these two for a few more weeks.
Alex tells Cody (and indirectly Makani) to buy whatever they want at the group buy. During the group buy the good people are ordering pizza. Gina, rocket scientist that she is, wants to order the pizza half everything and half whatever she wants. These people are so not hungry. Makani and Cody buy a bag of rice,($4,000) some carrots($2,000)and a jar of peanut butter ($7,500). The good people buy two jars of peanut butter ($7,500 EACH) A deck of playing cards for ($1,000), Two hamburgers ($3000 each) and two $5,000 pizzas. Cody says “no wonder she lives in a trailer, she doesn’t know how to manage money” and Eilish doesn’t understand the connection. She gets mad. They spent a total of $45,600. The good people have decided to starve Cody and Makani again next week.
Next week: At least one of the good people drinks bad water and is airlifted out.
