Wow, that is very young. That must have been a blow. I don’t have to like the family to feel genuinely distressed for them. Especially hard on the kids (who I do like).

So sad. One thing about Theresa and Joe, family is everything. I’m sorry for their loss.

Theresa lives a fake and delusional life, the only thing that has ever come off as genuine was her love for her family. A really sad time for her family. Do you think Juicy will be able to leave prison for the funeral?

I would guess the answer is a resounding NO to Joe Giudice being able to leave prison for the funeral of an in-law. Not sure he would be given such freedom for his immediate family.

He would probably use the time out to see a girlfriend, so no.

My mom was 62 when she passed away I am 63 now and think how different my life would of been had she lived longer. We knew she had cancer for 3 weeks and was gone. I am truly sorry for your loss. She was such a lovely woman. My prayers go out to all of you. I still talk to my Mom and she will always be in your heart. God Bless you Teresa. I know how hard these last few years have been. You have an angel in heaven now. God will guide you through this difficult time,

Knowing Teresa as we all do, this will likely be a “stop filming” for the foreseeable future for Bravo. She puts her family above all else and her parents are her world! That family has been through so much but this seems like it will be the worse for her and I’m not sure that she will recover from this for a very long time. I just want to give her a (((((HUG))))) So very sorry for them all

I am very surprised by this as I always thought it was her Father who had the health problems. I know Teresa is devestated as she was very close to her parents. First Joe’s father a bit ago and now this. Makes you wonder if all the trial and jail exacerbated anything health wise with the two of them. Not a Teresa fan but still sending prayers her way. It’s so hard to lose a parent.

I’m sure the stress of it all had an impact on her mother’s health. It’s a very hard thing for a parent to watch their child go to prison. Teresa has said herself that her family was not one to express feelings openly. My guess is her mother suffered in silence and put on a brave face for Teresa. Very sad. I pray for the repose of Antonia’s soul and for peace and comfort for those who mourn her.

This is tragic. I can’t imagine the stress that family is going through. Tre will be a mess but will stand strong for her girls.

I recently lost my husband, grandmother and aunt, the pain is almost too much to bare some days. Sending love and prayers to the Guidices, where there is sadness and loss may love and healing flow in. Never thought I would be crying for this family but I truly am.

Tamara – was Teresa’s mom sick? I thought it was her dad that she was so worried about. Do you know what happened? I am so sorry to read this. It is so hard to lose a parent but I think unexpectedly is harder to come to terms with. Sending love and prayers to Joe (Gorga), Teresa and their whole family. RIP Mrs. Gorga

One site is reporting that she was hospitalized with pneumonia in December and was never released. That seems like a terribly long time to be in the hospital.

I don’t think the details really matter though.

I feel badly for the kids – and I’m glad that Joe Gorga seemed to have mended his relationship with his parents before this happened.

So sorry to hear. She seemed like such a lovely lady. This wonderful lady had a lot on her plate: her kids fighting for years, taking care of grandkids (especially when Teresa was in camp), worrying about Teresa and sick hubby. A lot of work and stress. Rest in peace, lovely Antonia. My deepest sympathies to the Gorga family.

I am so glad that Theresa got to spend some post-prison time with her mother and was out while her mom was in the hospital. I know this a hard time for all, especially her kids.

When I saw this in Instagram I thought the same thing. Thank God she’s out of jail. My father died at 71, and that is way too young, but 66? Poor thing. I’m not a big Tre fan, but I feel very badly for the whole family.
