Okay, let’s try this again. It seems that the first minute of the show was cut off because I tape so many shows on Tuesday.
We are starting with Vanderpump buying a $630,000 home for Max. It’s a fixer upper so she will be dumping a lot into renovations. I find it insane that someone with so many financial obligations can continue to publicly present themselves on television as having plenty of cash to throw around.
We get to see LVP shop for all of Max’s furniture with Ken dottering around with the damn dog.
Kim and Kyle meet up for some shopping and bonding. Kim looks great. The best I have seen her in years. She is over the moon about Brooke’s baby that is due at any moment. It’s all happiness and love. So of course drama must be inserted. Kyle tells Kim everything that Rinna said about her. I am distracted by the clothes hangers in this shop. It’s that boring. But they are mostly talking about Eden and how really weird she is. It is weird that Kyle doesn’t know what an enabler is. I thought she had been to Al-Anon.
It was fun to see some of Kyle’s new show based on her childhood being produced.
I think it is the first time all season we get to see Tom. Unlike a lot of you, I love Tom and this relationship. I’d watch a spin off. I think Tom is brilliant and fascinating. Unfortunately, they spend a lot of time talking about her video. And Erika keeps justifying her marriage in her talking heads.
I’ve never really noticed the how cool Rinna’s house is before. I’m having some serious house envy. I need to get serious about moving out of the ghetto shack. I think it would improve my mental health drastically. On the other hand, it just to overwhelming to contemplate. Rinna is going to talk to Eden. Rinna is still maintaining she doesn’t remember the conversation. Oh, Rinna. Own your shit.
Rinna is going to be honored for her service with Project Angel Food. Even Rinna kind of points out the irony in her being honored for feeding those in need, when she herself has not eaten since 1978. Eden is the first to arrive to help out in the kitchen. She’s also donated $2,000. That is all well and good, but I am starting to like her a bit more because she showed up in Levis. People who wear Levis are, in general, awesome people. Then again she has some sort of scarf on her head with a baseball cap over it. So perhaps I am back to square one. When Erika arrives forty five minutes late, Rinna can’t be made because everyone else is even later. Is this a deliberate call time situation or are they really all this inconsiderate? Just as I am wondering why Eileen would be late, Rinna tells Erika that whatever her tummy issues were in Mexico, they have not abated, and in fact she has been feeling worse.
Kyle, LVP and Dorit finally arrive in Dorit’s Bentley or whatever it is. Kyle is embarrassed by the car they chose to take to a charity for the poor. Kyle is generally the only one with such insight. LVP claims they were late because they got stuck behind her gate and could not get out. Rinna throws some shade in her talking head and says that she believes her. She doesn’t think LVP’s “gate” has been open in twenty years.
Once the actual cooking starts, I learn that I should be wiping the top of my cans before opening them. This is probably even more importing since I use hand held can opener. I am probably going to die from all of those lids that fell in the food. The more you know…..#rainbow. In other news, Kyle really knows how to wash a zucchini! If you know what I mean. Dorit says everytime she “washes a zucchini” she ends up with a baby. Um, I don’t think handjobs make babies. Kyle ponders why Eden is at a Rinna event. Have they made up? No Kyle, it’s a charity event, and personal grudges are generally put aside for such things.
The whispering continues here and there about Eden. Production moves Kyle to work elbow to elbow with Eden. Kyle says this is not the time and the place for them to chat. Eden calls a house meeting like on Big Brother. This should go as well as they do on Big Brother.
It’s time for Rinna to get her award. She says it is the first time she has ever won anything other than a “best couple” award for Days. Eileen, sadly, is still ill and won’t be able to attend. Also she has a new issue with one of her eyes and the doctor has said no makeup. Apparently, it’s pink eye.
Wow the dinner at the charity is very Beverly Hills chi chi chi! Carson Kressley and Camille are there as well as lots of paparazzi.
After talking to Dorit on the ride over, Kyle is kind of pissy with Rinna but is trying to pretend like she didn’t. LVP is a no show. That’s an interesting development. Rinna says LVP is not there because the event is not all about LVP. There is a man with a baseball cap on who is highly underdressed next to Rinna. Everyone notices and wonders who he is. Dorit tells Kyle about Eden’s online love. Some guy from London. They have never met. Kyle says that Eden’s “Former male model” imaginary internet friend a recipe for disaster. Kyle feels like Eden needs some guidance in her relationships. She seems to go all in very fast and needs a lot of acceptance.
Harry Hamlin gives an amazing introduction to Lisa Rinna. So nice to hear a man who loves his wife of 25 years. Then it went on and on with the two of them declaring their undying love and devotion to each other. A bit too much.
Next Week: Why are Ken and LVP crying? Rinna’s memory suddenly comes back to her. The house meeting is held, and Kim is there.
