Todd Chrisley gave a brief interview to The Domenick Nati Show yesterday where he defended Savannah from texting and driving allegations made by some sites being the cause of her terrible car accident. I personally find it appalling that sites would suggest that was the cause of the accident with absolutely no information to substantiate those claims.
Todd also answered questions about his feeling when people google his name the first thing that shows up are questions about his sexuality. He espouses on his religious beliefs on homosexuality and his position of the subject may surprise you.
On to Todd’s alleged financial difficulties. As I reported here, an Atlanta news investigative report has uncovered that Todd did not file any income tax in the state of Georgia during the years he lived her filming Chrisley Knows Best. Todd’s response was to say of esteemed reporter, Jodie Fleischer, that she has a bad dye job and makes $35,000 per year and is trying to make a name for herself off of the success of his show.
Todd has a history of personal attacks on women, particularly on Twitter. Remind you of anyone? Previously he threatened to sue Nancy Grace for covering a story about the mother of his son’s child Chloe who was arrested for welfare fraud because she claimed Chloe as a dependent on her Medicaid application. Recently, Todd appeared on Wendy Williams show and called Nancy Grace a cow and a monster.
His first wife has publicly claimed that Todd was extremely abusive toward him and beat her with a closed fist, according to the Daily Mail.
Todd goes on to say that he pays the IRS between $750,000 to a million dollars a year in taxes. He also seems to be claiming that he was a Florida resident during the time period that award-winning journalist, Jodie Fleischer is referring to. Todd has blocked Fleischer on Twitter since her report.
This entire interview is worth checking out.
NOBODY and I mean NOBODY messes with nancy grace!!! j/k barely invested enough on this topic to comment but you did mention nancy grace. lol
TT you must be lucky and not ride as a passenger with anyone under 30. The texting while driving, selfi while driving, Updating Instagram/Snapchat… while DRIVING, is pretty widespread and it is terrifying.
It is the first thing I think of when someone has an accident.
In my opinion, there should be a thing that jams phones in cars where maybe phone calls could be made and received, but otherwise no texting etc for the driver.
Housewifehater, I’ve been told there is an app that disables a teen driver’s phone – from texting while driving – but I haven’t looked into it.
Apple is being sued by a family who’s 5 year old daughter was killed in an accident where the driver of the other car was using Facetime. Apparently Apple filed a patient around 2008 which would allow the company to disable key features of your iPhone when it detected you were driving but it never activated it.
I don’t drive on the highway much anymore but my friends tell me they see people texting and driving 65 mph all the time. On two occasions I’ve seen people reading books on the highway in rush hour traffic. I worry whenever someone takes my son out in their car.
When I very briefly Googled Todd, I was amazed at all of the negative stuff that pops up. And I am not sure I will ever stopped being shocked that people don’t pay their taxes.
Years ago I worked at a unionized company. We all made good money but it seemed like quite a few of my co-workers had IRS problems, things like taking too many deductions or flat out not paying. It seemed really odd to me that so many folks were having issues and no one seemed to think it was out of the norm. I don’t know. Maybe it isn’t. Maybe we’re out of the norm.
I swear, if I made a mathematical error on my tax return, I’d have guys in trench coats parked in front of my house. How do people get away with it for years?
Speaking of that, I normally didn’t get a tax refund on my taxes, because my withholding was set properly. One year I got a small refund. When the check came back, it was a bought $3 and some change less than what I calculated. There was a note in there than my amount was off and the refund reflected the exact amount I was owed. I thought, “If they know how much I am owed before I do my taxes, why do I have to do them every year? Just send me a bill, or a check!
So Weird.
I’m having trouble concentrating lately and I’ve tried like three times to get my taxes together and just can’t.
Don’t even attempt it if your head isn’t totally in the game.
I guess I am the only one that really watches and likes this show. This makes me sad. I don’t know why I bother investing any of my emotions into ANY of these shows. The good thing is that Savannah will be ok and I hope it was a lesson learned. She seems like a really sweet kid. I hope this isn’t true about the tax thing with Todd. I find that he is like those metrosexual generation (is that the right term?) Those guys all seem to be in touch with their feminine side. So maybe that’s just how it is.
sundayhare3, I love Chrisley Knows Best and am glad that Savannah will recover from her accident. No one should go through the pain of losing a child. I also could not care less about Todd’s sexuality. He is funnier than shit and I love watching his mom more that him because that lady knows how to have fun and enjoy life!
