I am just going to give y’all a place to chat tonight about Celebrity Apprentice. In the first competition the teams had to create a four photograph sales presentation for motorcycles. Kyle took her first turn as project manager and Carson Kressley took the lead for the guys. Carson posed nude on a bike, but ultimately decided not to use that photo in the four. In a choice that left some feeling uncomfortable, he brought in Alaska Thunderfuck, from Ru Paul’s Drag race to pose for one of the photos. Jon Lovitz rode as a priest in another. The concept was that the motorcycle was for everyone. Kyle did a photo of her and Lisa Leslie to show how the bikes could be modified for all sizes and shapes. Laila Ali did a great shot as well. Porsha’s shot and Brooke’s shot were not great. Brooke’s husband was supposed to ride on the back and he refused. This was the big issue that caused Kyle’s team to leave. At the boardroom, Kyle brought back Porsha and Brooke and said under duress that Brooke should go home. Porsha TOTALLY threw Kyle under the bus and said Kyle should go home. Porsha is playing this game to death. In the end, Brooke was sent home. Kyle skated by for a third time. I literally typed that before it was announced. I was surprised that Arnold sent home Kyle. I thought that Kyle answered a question about who donated the most money to her she named names. We have not gotten to the fundraising challenges yet. So that is weird.
For the second challenges, since the vagicide is nearly complete, they switch out the teams. Brooke and Laila go to the men’s team and Carson, Vince and Chael go to the women’s team. The men are pissed about this.
The challenge is a fundraiser. Vince has a couple hundred grand committed in the van on the way over. They have to present a candy flavor to See’s candy. Did ya’ll know that See’s is owned by Warren Buffet? That’s news to me.
Kyle still donated 10K to Team Prima even after Porsha threw her under the bus. But PK and Dorit show up to give Boy George’s team $80K. Allegedly. I’d like to be sure that went through. The guys team continued to get huge donations. This will be close. In the end, Vince took all the money from both teams and won nearly $800K. So my new pony, Porsha is on the winning team.
Jon Lovitz was fired.
Kyle deserved to be fired, as she was the losing manager as well as responsible for creative three losing challenges. While that photo of Lisa and her was fabulous, the overall campaign theme felt pretty predictable. I thought Carson did an amazing job with his concept and the photos. While including a drag queen was a risk, it didn’t seem overdone or obvious to me. In fact, it seemed that many didn’t realize it was a drag queen in the photo,
It was really classy of Kyle to show up to make a donation to the challenge after she was fired. I was really impressed by Vince’s ability to bring in the cash for his team. Jon Lovitz seemed like his heart wasn’t in it. I’ll miss seeing his little dog, though.
Noticed Dorit was pregnant in the scene. Wonder if she was in talks then to become a housewife. I would have liked to known how much money porsha raised from here alleged African princes?!
Actually Brooke deserved to be fired for that task. She blew the whole dynamic because her asshole husband could not get on the back of the bike the way she asked. Arnold handed the Kyle the way out, she chose not to take it and fight for herself. After Brooke said she refused to believe they lost because of that picture, Arnold told her for a 4th time what the execs. said. Prior to them coming back into the board room, the female exec. said she was pout off by how Brooke refused to accept responsibility for her part in this debacle.
But if that particular photo was so pivotal to the concept, why didn’t Kyle, as PM, make it happen? Why leave it up to Brooke, who obviously had no intention or ability to change his mind? Strong, empowered females seems a bit unlikely when they can’t even convince one of their husbands to do what they wanted? It pretty much undercuts the whole concept. As does trying to rationalize the behavior of an insecure man in the boardroom.
Alaska Thunderfuck! It made my night to hear Boy George gush over her. And I loved that Arnie said he’d have no problem riding behind a woman. David Charvet has a Napoleon complex.
Matt Iseman saying pot smokers are unreliable…pissed me off. The correct wording should be SOME pot smokers are unreliable. And I would be willing to bet that those smokers, are unreliable even when they are not indulging.
I think it was right for Kyle to go home. I don’t think showing women in all the photos shows the diversity in bike riders. Not to mention if you see a campaign of a motorcycle with all the photos with women on it then it kinda looks to be a bike designed for women and men aren’t even going to go in to look at them
I kind of agree, Chey. I knew the girls were screwed as soon as I saw the guy’s photos.
That said, the girls had only girls on their team. Maybe Kyle should have called in Maurico!
I was sad to see Kyle go, but she really didn’t put up much of a fight like Snooki before her. Also I missed Dorit, but she was probably just bringing Boy George over some of his own money.
Is it weird that we are rooting for Porsha to win? Because I am, too.
I find it bizarre that the finale is almost here. Brooke should have known her husband well enough that he wouldn’t ride on the back of the bike. I thought Brooke or David would tweet some BS excuse for his piss-poor attitude but neither of them have acknowledged it except to plug the show.
Can one of you nice American Tt’ers please tell me, are the donations tax deductible? I recall doing my taxes many years ago in the US and your regulations around charitable deductions are fairly relaxed. In australia we cannot claim anything we received a product or service for. So if I donate $10 to The Cancer Foundation I can claim it, but if I got a pen (or a box of candy) for $10 I can’t.
You have to file for tax status. So I am not sure how this works. I do think the large donations are tax deductible. I should not even be answering this. There are plenty of more knowledgeable folks here who would know.
I tend to donate directly, usually in December when they his me up for fundraisers. I’m big on https://www.rescue.org/ to help the Syrian refugees and Wikipedia https://donate.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:FundraiserLandingPage&country=US&uselang=en&utm_medium=sidebar&utm_source=donate&utm_campaign=C13_wikimediafoundation.org that I don’t donate enough to considering how much I use it each and every day.
With Kyle’s family being Hilton’s and her having so many wealthy friends I think she should have waited and volunteered for a moneymaking task. Certainly she could have raised a ton of money. She would therefore still be here now.
Arnie the XIV on a white charger rules.
For me, he boardroom is not as good with Arnold and his crew. Ivanka is also sorely missed. The new female doesn’t speak up enough.
Historic art pose doesn’t negate the fact he ruled the universe triumphantly.
Totally agree. Keep trying to watch, and I just can’t get into.
They must use some incredible camera filters on Real Housewives shows to make those old women look youthful. On Celebrity Apprentice, Kyle actually looks her age. She has wrinkles despite of all the Botox and collagen injections and I like that. This isn’t a dig, she looks great on Apprentice, just a little more normal like the rest of us.
I remember last season on RHOBH when Vanderpump was squeezing her middle age ass into the baseball outfit. I though, wow, her tummy is as soft and round as mine is….It made me feel better knowing she isn’t perfect.
So agree, just look at the pictures on the part 3 of 3 regarding RHONY!!
I remember one of them saying about using as many filters as possible, lighting, etc. Hey, I stopped wearing makeup when I decided how you see me going to bed, is how I look when you see me wake up. Been 30 plus years.
Me too!
