Teen Mom airs again tonight, and there is way too much on for me to ever watch this show on time. Tonight we have two hours of Vanderpump Rules, Two hours of The Bachelor and two hours of Celebrity Apprentice. I hate how everything comes on the same night. Much like Dances Moms, I can’t seem to give up on this show entirely.
Adam is still being a dick to the producers. He needs to pull himself together. He cannot afford to lose this paycheck. Aubrey and the other kid are climbing on a mattress and box springs once they are let into Adam’s house. Adam feels like he got the bad dad edit last season. They showed him missing the father daughter dance but not thing school events he went to with Aubrey.
Chelsea is getting ready for her wedding. Aubrey is getting fitted for her dress. Then Chelsea, Aubrey, Aubrey’s mom and the bridal party go to lunch. Chelsea has refused to let the cameras film her dress shopping. She does not want the wedding to be exploited by the show. She wants the wedding to be a very private moment. She is literally the only Teen Mom on this series that has not lot herself to MTV and the fame.
This show has ruined Kailyn. She used to be the level-headed good mom who was trying to keep her relationship together with Jo. Then she went full-blown media whore, got as much surgery as Heidi Montag and shafted her husband and her kids in the process. She also got a million tattoos. It’s sad. I really wanted to see Javi and Kailyn get things together. Kailyn says she hasn’t made a decision yet, and probably won’t until he gets home. She doesn’t consider that Javi might make the decision for her. She seems to need to be in control of everything. If she could only give a bit more and take a bit less from Javi, it might have worked. Javi is still fighting for his family to stay together. That seems less important to Kailyn who wants a career in news casting.
We start off this season with Kailyn going though a quarter life crisis, which I absolutely believe is a thing, especially for her. She is coping with this by going skydiving. I do not understand why people do this. Kail loved it.
Sidenote: Nashville is back on CMT? I love that show! I need more advertising for it.
Issac graduated from kindergarten. Both of his parents are there but Javi is still deployed. Sadly, Isaac is more attached to Javi than either parent and that relationship might be ending. Javi calls and he picked right up. He’s like a whole new kid when Javi calls.
Sadly, David and Janelle are still together. Nathan isn’t paying much attention to the doughnut, who is the cutest kid ever. If that kid got dropped on my doorstep, I’d have a hard time not keeping him, even though I have no desire to have a kid. He’s that adorable. I would legally change his name to Doughnut.
As usual, we start Janelle’s season off with a court case. This time the judge agrees to allow filming. Janelle is facing charges of assaulting Nathan’s girlfriend. If she even still his girlfriend. Wow it is a jury trial. The prosecution calls the girlfriend. Apparently, Janelle clocked her with a mason jar to the head as she was sitting in Nathan’s vehicle. Janelle tried to make it seem like it was a water bottle or something. Nathan testifies next and says she begged him not to call the police. Janelle’s attorney is going for the throat. Nathan says he has seen his son once in eight months.
When the defense begins its case, Janelle testifies and lies. She says she meant to throw water at the girl and the girl threw the glass back at her and missed. She says they were in her driveway, they say they parked on the street. She said that Nathan said he was going to take the doughnut from her. She fake cries. It’s ridiculous. Janelle said that she just tries to be a good person and a good mom. While waiting for the verdict, Janelle cries and asks how they can do this to her. She says she will never forgive them for this. SIGH. The jury falls for Janelle’s lies and finds her not guilty.
Leah is getting along with Corey and Miranda. She still seems to be struggling when she has the girls on her own. Leah has a meltdown because she can’t find her car keys and the cameras are filming her screaming at the girls again. Whatever rehab she went to, sadly didn’t take. I wish she had more family support. Being a single mom is hard, being a single mom to a special needs kid is a very difficult role even when you are married and have a lot of family support. I do not condone her alleged use of drugs and alcohol as a coping mechanism, that is a luxury she cannot afford, but I do understand how she became addicted to whatever it is she uses.
Leah manages to find her keys and get the girls to T-ball late. The next day, Leah tells her cousins the story about how she was late to T-ball and how the cameras were there and she had a panic attack. Leah says the crappy stuff only happens when the cameras are there, and we are never going to believe it. She’s right. I don’t believe it.
Jeremy has a three-month job is South Dakota. He is taking his Addie for a last visit before he goes. I wish Leah would not have all named her girls all similar things. It’s confusing. Addie had a very emotional goodbye with Jeremy.
Oh GOOD NEWS for me. The second episode on my DVR is an ICYMI episode. No need to recap that.
Will you be watching Teen Mom tonight?
