Golnesa has been furthering her acting career by taking over for Sonja Morgan on the off Broadway production of Sex Tips For Straight Women From A Gay Man. She’s also taking over the role of Durrani Aisha Popal, from Dash Dolls. I had no idea that Dash Dolls show was still a thing, and maybe it isn’t but if you ever watched it, there was an Iranian chick on there named Durrani who was dating a Jewish man named Shalom and the fact that he was not Persian was a problem. But the fact that he threw around a lot of cash was not a problem. On the show, Shalom bought Durrani a hot pink Bentley and her response was, “I feel like I’m dreaming right now!!!! “It’s like Barbie’s car!! I always wanted a pink car since I was little!!!” Then she dumped him a couple of episodes later. From what I can determine, Dash Dolls was a one eight-episode season and done show.
So tonight, Golnesa was back in NYC with Shalom in Time Square after finishing her short run on the play when he proposed in grand fashion.
“In the middle of Times Square… he asked… and I said… HELL YESSSSS! So happy to spend my life with him. I love you @shalom310”
GG announced their relationship in mid-September. With Dash Dolls apparently cancelled, and Asa getting ready to have a baby any day now, the timing is fortunate for both reality stars.
I sincerely hope that this relationship will give GG the love and support and safety she needs. I’ve always been ride or die GG. She’s been having some RA flare ups again and I really want her to have a devoted partner to take care of her.
Nobody knows what Shalom’s job is, but I’m going to guess that it has something to do with high end cars and that GG will be flaunting one or more next season. Just a hunch.
That said, if Shalom is in this for the wrong reasons, Goldie, Black Mamba and Africa are ever at the ready. Not to mention her shooting skills. Back when I first started blogging, I did some interviews, and then realized what a really bad idea that was for my objectivity when watching the shows. Check out my interview with GG here. The Shahs of Sunset interviews I did were were all before the first season of Shahs. She told me what she looked for in a man, why she is afraid of ants, and lots of other interesting stuff.
My sincerest wishes for a long and happy life together to the couple.
