rhobh-lisa-rinna

After the season premier which is probably my favorite episode ever of the RHOBH, I’m hoping for a worthy follow-up episode. But because of the title, I fear the focus might be on new girl, Dorit.  If you didn’t read all of the comments on last week’s recap, you missed some really interesting information about Dorit and her husband PK.  Check out a commentator named Johnny’s contributions from across the pond for all the shenanigans they got up to there, um allegedly.

Lisa Rinna is the designated RHOBH public relations person this week. She did Wendy Williams this week and will be on WWHL tonight. It seems Wendy kind of likes her. This is Rinna’s first time back on the show since joining the RHOBH because Wendy went on a boycott of covering the house wife franchises for a couple years.  Of course Wendy doesn’t mention that. Rinna talked about her relationship and how she has known LVP for 27 and how they argue on the show a lot, but that tonight on the show we will see her telling LVP that she likes her more than she doesn’t like her. Rinna wants an honest relationship where they “take the piss out of each other” and it’s a real interaction than just being fake nice all the time. She also talked about how she lost her father in January and it reminded her what is important, and squabbling with LVP isn’t one of them. They talk about Christmas. Lisa says that she buys her own presents and has them wrapped and puts them under the tree from Santa. This year she splurged on two new fancy handbags.  They also talked about her two daughters and their modeling careers. He daughters are quite beautiful.

Okay, with that bit of housekeeping out of the way, Let’s go on with the show!

rhobh-kyle

Kyle

Kyle comes to pick up Rinna in a Lamborghini that Maurico supposedly purchased. Now Maurico can afford to purchase all the Lambos he wants, but when they show the brand of the car up close, and the cool dashboard, and the fancy interior and the full car zipping off down the road, it’s a promotional situation. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but cover stories are all so silly.  Both ladies are in baseball capes that advertise Mauricio’s real estate company.

LVP got a new horse that was retired from some sort of performing horses act. I wonder if she will be getting a hippopotamus for Christmas.

It appears that Kyle and Rinna are going to meet the horse. Kyle discusses in her talking heads about LVP potentially forgiving Rinna, and if she does that she would need to forgive Eileen too.  Wait, whut?  Why do Rinna and Eileen need forgiveness from LVP?   Oh it’s for the puppet master stuff. Puhlease, LVP. You know they have you dead to rights on that. JUST OWN IT! Actually, they are not going to meet the horse, they are going to met Alexia, Kyle’s daughter for a commercial for some kind of exercise class. Just watching this makes my surgical incision throb.

Eileen

I love seeing Eileen on set at  Y & R.  I would prefer it to be Days of Our Lives, but I’ll take it. Eileen is doing some work for a show about the 11,000th episode. I love these scenes.

Erika Jayne

Erika Jayne is hold dance auditions for female dancers for her next video. They did not choose any redheads. Big mistake. HUGE.  Fun fact: They held auditions at 3rd Street Dance where a love of Dance Moms episodes have been filmed.

Rinna

Cute scene with Rinna’s girls. Her oldest signed with Elite recently. Both are modeling. They made a pasta dish and between the three of them actually ate a full portion!  I kid. And I shouldn’t I hate when people talk about what other people do or don’t eat.

rhobh-lvp-rinna-kyle

Dorit’s Party

PK, Dorit’s husband gave her a quarter million dollar rose gold Bentley earlier in the day.  PK has planned the entire party and everyone is a bit apprehensive about how it will turn out. It starts of very civilized and demure.  A Rinna points out, “these people have some money.”  Which is odd considering the tea about them basically being the British Giudices.  I told you to read the comments here.

LVP’s necklace would make lots of drag queens happy. The ones who opt against the tracheal shave. Rinna tries to be nice and polite to LVP and LVP just keeps making cunty comments. Considering the get up LVP showed up in and the bumpit like pony tail thing she should be grateful for compliments coming her way. Next to approach Bobbie Fisher is Eileeen, who also is complimentary and there was even a double kiss. LVP says she is sorry.  INSERT DRAMATIC EDITING HERE.  Lisa is sorry to hear about Eileen’s mother’s passing. Vince is there with Eileen!

I’m so over name dropper Dorit. The latest thing she would like us to know is that J-Lo and Marc Anthony were former owners of her house.

Let’s see if Erika can get Dorit in line. In she walks in a Moschino t-shirt dress. Dorit is appalled by the T-shit. That dress cost a couple grand, Dorit. And Erika could buy and sell you and your husband several times over. I don’t care if it is your birthday, you might want to take a seat.  Erika got Dorit a Chanel cosmetics bag for her birthday. That’s probably a grand right there.

Eileen is embarrassed Vince wore slightly ripped jeans and a blazer. He looks great as always.

PK decides he’s had enough of the civilized event and opens the back door to “Dorit’s Budda Lounge” which is basically a bar/disco/sushi bar set up in the back yard. Of course Dorit knew nothing about that. It’s not like she lives there or anything.

Lisa Rinna apologizes for “being hard on LVP” and they seem to call a truce in the Budda bar. We’ll see how long this lasts.  Then LVP shows up in a conversation with Eileen and Dorit and Eileen politely excuses herself by asking if anyone has seen her husband. LVP says, “Yeah, I saw him over there in the corner with his head up someone’s skirt.”  That’s classy LVP for ya.

Next Week: Eileen goes to her family home for the last team. And Erika reminds Dorit she is actually an American, as only she can.

Programming note: My WWHL recap is coming tonight but I want to zip through The Voice Finale first.

TT, I started reading you last year when watching BH. I was in the LVP is a sniper from the side camp and looking for a blog that agreed. Plus, Team Erika! Anyway, LVP’s comment about Vince having his head up someone’s skirt truly shows who LVP is. Not drinking her Kool-Aid.

I cannot get past LVPs outfit and hair to concentrate on anything that is being said and I am an LVP fan

But this look is horrid. Her hair looks like something my moms ShizTzu comes back from after a day at the groomer and those gloves look like what a pole dancer in the 70’s might have worn. The ‘statement necklace” looks like a Christmas ornament on a ribbon wrapped around her neck

Please hire a stylist so I can concentrate on the show again

That dog grooming thing was the description I was looking for. I knew I had seen it somewhere. It did seem to be a cross between a Snooki bumpit sort of style and those long haired dogs that have a pony tail on top.

I think LVP has a FANTASTIC body for any age. And I don’t want to spend my time criticizing her looks all season when there is so much more to be said about here and her attempts to cloak her insults as “British humor” I really think she is quite attractive on the outside. But she really just does need some…. help. And a bit of jujing (not quite sure how to spell that non word) up.

Home due to a stomach bug today. My mouth fell open as I watched Erika Jayne debut as Farrah, Genoa City’s new releator. While I am not a fan of hers, she did very well, a great presence, with great timing. Perhaps it was a one time thing? It was funny because she and Eileen’s character immediately get into a bit of a cat fight. Loved it!

I think part of it is LVP has a more thin red headed skin type, even though shes a brunette, the type of skin that shows more age and tends to get crepey. She doesnt look that good showing alot of bare skin. Also, Eileen is more trendy and casual as far as style, more athaletic, laid back and with a same age, not a much older spouse. Some people with an older spouse tend to become more like that generation, it seems. It’s like it either makes them look much younger because the spouse is older by comparision, or they end up appearing older by having an older spouse. Maybe I’m weird to think that, but I think over the years the younger one, can catch up to the older spouse, or maybe they don’t try as hard because they are the YOUNGER one after all, and don’t feel as much pressure. LVP needs to change up her look more often, we all do, and she tries too hard in some regards, doing the same old stuff, along with too much other stuff, like with the long stiff hair sprayed hair, butt implants, fillers, botox and big inflated lips, false eyelashes, and dynasty wardrobe. Its dated and too much artiface. Every woman looks better picking and choosing a few things to enhance their appearance that makes the most of their unique beauty and alliws you to still see their beauty. And then just be in really good shape.

I’m a really pale redhead, and at 46 I don’t have even a hint of crow’s feet, and I seriously have what is commonly called ‘English Rose’ skin. I think she’s showing her age because of poor diet, alcohol and smoking, and bad makeup. If you notice, her makeup is old fashioned, cheap poorly shaped false eyelashes, heavy foundation and baking, and that smoky eye that NEVER goes away!
Combine that with the poor styling with the horrible costume jewelry and crap and she looks haggard next to Eileen. But honestly, Eileen just has better bone structure and she knows how to give face and work her angles.
Yes, they all have great bodies overall, but JUDAS PRIEST! I would sell my right arm for Erica’s! That woman is my idol!!!

I agree with all comments about LVP’s look. A less complicated hair style and less makeup would be a great start. And yes, when she is shooting a casual scene with less artiface, you can see her freckles, and that she still has a rocking bod. In a way it is strangely compelling, me wanting to see more of her with less. I suspect that she could knock everyone’s socks off if she allowed us to see the real her. And by that I mean her true bawdy personality. She has built up this rather stuffy and dusty personae, and it is getting old.

I agree about Eileen having great bone structure and about LVP ‘s crummy cheap looking make up. Red head’s and pale people can still have gorgeous skin that doesn’t wrinkle too. Pale skin isn’t allways thin either. You can have a thicker more medium skin type that’s pale. That’s Eileen. My skin is pale but on the thicker side. Peels help alot too. Yes lifestyle makes a big difference. LVP is still a very attractive woman. She could just look so much better, if she adopted a more natural modern look and hit the gym. I think she also doesn’t have a very modern outlook, either, and that dates her. She’s fussy and predictable.

I just can’t with Rinna, blaming her mother because Rinna never learned to cook. I guess she never heard of a cooking class. Also I am tired of looking at her boobs, cover up woman. Erica is to die for ! Eileen had an affair, why does it hurt her feelings that Lisa called a spade a spade. Eileen needs to just own it . LVP is a bit snarky. I have not watched all the seasons nor do I care too so I really don’t have a horse in this race. But I think Rinna is as phony as a $3 bill. I agree about the necklace that LVP wore and same with that pearl job that Kyle wore in her talking head. I really enjoyed the recap.

What part of Rinna talking about her mother’s cooking made you think Rinna blames her mother because she can’t cook during a scene when her daughters are cooking and Rinna is clearly inept? It’s just not her thing. She doesn’t like cooking and that’s okay!

I do like cooking, Yet, I’m not really up to a whole lot of it at the moment. But I have a whole chicken thawing and I am going to try to figure out how to make a facsicmile of my mother’s curried chicken in the crock pot. or maybe the oven. It’s supposed to start with First fry the chicken thighs in butter.

But since I BLAME MY MOTHER for never teaching me how to break down a chicken, and I have like four knives, all of which are shitty, I’ll improvise. Because I like cooking despite my mother having full on rants that some might need to seek a safe space to deal with in this day and age often while she was cooking. And on a good day, she would answer questions.

But that should probably be part of my new forum. But I don’t think Rinna was blaming her mother. I just don’t think she likes to cook. Or eat.

Bravo FINALLYYYYY got the casting right. I loveeeee this group together. Erika & Eileen are hands down the best housewives in the history of the show because they’re authentic. LVP to me is that conniving, smart, sexy villain I love to hate. Kyle without Kim is funny and fun & Rinna is entertaining because she’s so loosey goosey in the brain. Dorit is that right kind of annoying where you’re rolling your eyes but entertained rather than frustrated to the point that you want to punch her in the uterus.

Lilly, the whole point of this godforsaken franchise is to make us jealous of these women. It’s fake pretense is how the rich folk live. I can only speak for Atlanta when I say the women on season one got paid five thousand dollar for the ENTIRE SEASON. ALL of the RHOA are only rich because of BRAVO when it comes to ATLANTA and most of them are like the people on those shows about HOW A WON A GAZILLION DOLLARS IN THE LOTTERY AND AM BANKRUPT AND MY ENTIRE FAMILY HATES ME. On Kandi Burruss had a pot to piss in. ‘

The whole point was to see the stupid things rich people do and how they live their lives. I guess I am the only one who doesn’t get jealous for these people.

I love Kyle, I think she is doing it right and her husband works his ass off and is an example of the American dream. She has beautiful children with great values despite A SHIT TON of family baggage. I admire her, I’m not jealous of her.

Lots of them I just laugh at and on this show you have a VERY down to earth actress who drives a fancy Ford and gets picked at for not wasting money on handbags.

There is very little that rich people have that I covet other than a safe place to live with modern conveniences. I chose to forgo that for several years of being able to travel instead. The time is on the horizon for me now that I will have to find a place more suitable for my aging, sagging ass. But I did enjoy the hell out of the ride.

And I didn’t marry at all. Not for the lack of opportunity to do so, just because my I’ve not had much interaction with people for whom it went well. There is certainly no one in my very extensive family whose marriage I covet.

I will end this whole sermon about the grass not always being greener by saying, I really am starting to covet a real house with modern facilities these days. But I don’t want any of the housewives ginormous dwellings. If one of them gave me theirs I sell it and buy a nice little house in the low country and vacation in the carribean a lot with the left over cash.

Actually Kyle & Lisa are my favorites and I’m not jealous, hell I watch to live vicariously through them all. Last nights episode was a bit too much extravagance for me, that’s all. I know about green grass as my father was a high ranking golf-pro, so I lived that kind of lifestyle for the short time I could stand having fake friends and being a snob like him. I like my moderate life better, If I won the lottery I would buy a one level little home too but I wouldn’t vacation because I’m afraid of flying..shudder thinking about flying . Maybe a nice size RV and I can drive around Canada. Thanks for the sermon..lol xo

Kyle did and has worked – hell, from the time she was 6. When you have a career as high end as Maurico’s – trust me, Kyle helps with that. The entertaining, making connections among the upper eschelons, etc. The fact that she is “stay at home” is something I like. I’m sure they have a nanny, but I get the feeling that that is so they always have someone they can trust when she does go out (or has to film). I would do the same if I had that many kids and I could afford it.

I don’t think many people have stopped to think about how fucked up Kyle COULD have been. Was no one else paying real attention to her revelation that she had been to Studio 54, and knew Andy Freaking Warhol? That means she was there during the major years when it was all music, sex, and cocaine. SHE WAS TEN.

It is fucking insane that her mother took her there. I know that Kim and Kyle loved their mother – but their mother was fucked up. It is a miracle Kyle is as normal as she is.

I wanna know what kind of behind-the-scenes manipulation went on that made Rinna suddenly so keen to apologize to Vanderpump. The reunion was in April, right? So it isn’t that she’s had some kind epiphany after her dad died – that was in January, and she was still mad as hell three months later! It seems like she’s been told she has to “make nice” by somebody….

Clearly Eileen didn’t get the same memo, which sucks if she’s going to have to endure a season of humiliating comments like the “head up a skirt” thing. Those who excused LVP’s “British humor” last season have to understand that we Brits generally know the difference between sharp wit and a vindictive attack.

Dorit is tiresome. They’re overcompensating for their recent bankruptcies, and probably headed back there if these displays of conspicuous consumption are genuine. I’m going to enjoy Erika telling her what’s up!

Hi Johnny! Hope you didn’t mind being featured in tonight’s recap.

Rinna is good friends with Kyle IRL and has been trying to get on the show for a while. I don’t think production can make Rinna do anything, (and yeah, Kyle is an executive producer but doesn’t have a lot of storyline power) but she can teach Rinna the ropes and the big rope is Cohen thinks LVP is some sort of special snowflake and it is easier to just go with it. Rinna also claims to have known LVP a long time.

I don’t think Rinna will be able to follow Kyle’s advice for the whole season though. And I think things get really tough for Rinna later on.

      Stay tuned.

It’ll be interesting to see where the Lisas end up by the reunion this time round. I do selfishly enjoy it when they get along because they can be incredibly funny together, but not if all the jokes are at Rinna’s expense. This show is really going to put Rinna through the ringer on every single episode what with LVP and Kim’s return, I guess.

Johnny, I think you’re onto something with your assessment of there being some behind the scenes manipulation. At the risk of sounding like too much of a conspiracy theorist, I think what is happening behind the scenes is that Lisa Vanderpump (who I like but have a feeling that may not be the case by the end of this season) has her target set on her true threat, Erika! Ericka was spot on with her “sniper from the side” comment last season and I think if anyone could knock Vanderpump off her “throne” it is Erika. Lisa Vanderpump is behaving true to form by giving the appearance of being Erika’s friend in front of the camera because she will never commit and open attack. Behind the scenes, she has sent the very inept Dorit to take a swing. This plan will not only fail miserably but will be very entertaining to watch.
I must say, I love that both Lisa Rinna and Eileen have moved on from last season’s mess and are allowing Lisa Vanderpump to take as much rope as she likes to hang herself and as a long time Vanderpump fan, it pains me to make this prediction. Vanderpump’s comment about Vinny was soooo out of line nasty, I would have had to turn all Love and Hip Hop on her in that moment, LOL.
I love to see my girl Kyle is on her game this season and using her talking heads very wisely! I think her friendship with Erika is genuine and this may be another reason Vanderpump is sending Dorit after Erika, in my opinion. As for the glam, everyone, accept Vanderpump, is looking fabulous this season! I think that entertaining episodes followed by TT’s awesome recaps is a recipe for a great season.

I love LVP and in my opinion the only puppet master last year was Eileen getting called out on her affair. I’ve had a head cold and Bravo ran the whole affair again today. Eileen convinces Rinna that LVP masterminded the housemunchlymeopause and many other deplorable things such as not giving an appropriate apology.
Rinna will suck up wherever she sees fit. I think Kyle is being quite saucy calling out the jabs LVP is currently making. Brave of you Kyle.

Lisa J is an example of most of the people that watch this show. We call those “the randoms.” It’s not that I don’t love Lisa J, or “the randoms” They are just the broadest part of the viewing base who believe everything they see on the show and don’t generally read anything else. This is the audience that Bravo caters to. Lisa J’s opinions are WAY WAY WAY more important than ours because they really don’t care that we know what we know. The VAST majority of views (the randoms) have no idea about the dynamics.

And this is why we can’t have nice things.

I like LVP as the bratty popular chick. It’s not her fault if the other ladies fall for her traps. Lisa R was clever tonight and orchestrated a smart response to make a fake apology sound sincere. And Lisa R stood up to LVP very nicely. Eileen will take the long road to a peaceful relationship because she’s still trying to convince others how bad LVP is. Waste of time.

I hope Kyle finds hers way further from LVP minion because she has more fun. Anna this is one of the few Bravo shows that can do well without a script.

Erika is over Doris and PK. The faces she makes are priceless.

Eventually I will get it through my head that TT is right more often than just about anyone else (I’m looking at you, Nate Silver). I finally see the light on LVP, the light Tamara has patiently been shining here for eons. It’s sort of a relief. I’m also ready to drink the Kyle Kool Aid. I will always gag at the pony-tail twirling and the splits, but she’s a great Mom and M seems an authentic family man they seem like good people with some values. Possibly more than two.
If I had to choose one of these women to be marooned with on an inflatable life boat in the South Pacific with only three days of rations, I think it would be Rinna. She’s zany and optimistic, doesn’t seem to eat much, and comes with two sets of dual flotation devices. Plus, when delirious from sun exposure, she might spill the domestic goods on Harry.

I can hardly wait to see Erika call out the Connecticut thing! Dorit is already on my nerves, and PK’s heartfelt toast to her had me snort chuckling. Kyle is on point so far this season. And Eileen’s dancing while she reported LVP’s cruel comments was a highlight for me. LVP is trying to Vanderpump Rules her cast mates, but seems embarrassingly unaware that Rinna’s no Kristen( though she does share some of that batty charm) and Eileen is no Stassi, so we’ll just have to see how this goes for her.

Comparing RHOA to RHOBH is like getting pennies on the dollar. It’s almost comical. Like you said above, RHOA mostly only have money because of Bravo. Also, Kyle is fucking hot. Her kids are great and she seems like a genuinely good person. I love her!

I know we’re only 2 episodes in, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this season so far. Eileen, who I wasn’t initially a fan of when she started on the show, has somehow become my favourite. She seems very genuine and down-to-earth to me, and seems to just get prettier every episode. Although I may be partially influenced by how much I enjoy her personality.

I was never a Kyle fan. I couldn’t stand her. I don’t know why, but I’m really enjoying her now. I think it may be in part due to her talking heads. I love that she’s calling a spade a spade, when it comes to Lisa V. Conversely, I used to like Lisa V. and can’t stand her anymore. She talks about ‘British’ humour, but from where I’m sitting it seems like she can dish it out but she can’t take it. She passive-aggressively makes her ‘jokes’, and acts like a bitch when the people she’s attacking are upset by her comments. I wish they’d get rid of her, but I feel like Andy never will, especially because of pump rules.

All in all, I’m really liking everyone except Lisa V. and, to a lesser extent, Dorit. That’s still pretty good haha. I’ll take it.

Eileen looked stunning. My only experience with soaps was in the late 90’s. I got sucked into Days of Our Lives during the Kristen/Susan/Stefano drama. Unfortunately I got a job that interfered with my soap addiction and DVR didn’t exist back then.

Alexis Colby once said about Krystle Carrington that she is SWEET AND VICIOUS. The same thing you can say about Eileen.

Ericunty is insecure. She needs props – Cartier ring, Moschino t-shirt, army or “the gays”, an alter ego, etc. She has problem with being around women who are successful and independent on their own. Deep down inside she knows that she is just a golddigger and that people don’t respect her.

    Rinna is spineless.

LVP – I enjoy her little “vendetta” against Rinna ans Eileen. God knows they deserve that.

LVP said that comment to Eileen to really give her something to be offended about. Good to see the whiner speechless for once. Ericka looked like a fool in that tee shirt. She looked like she just came from the beach. Big deal it’s from a designer. Wonder how she talked hubby’s secretary into giving her money for that.

Eileen’s story line is hating Lisa V and she has no sense of humor. Rinna is just too silly.

I’m with you, Pitypat. I don’t see all of the love for Erica. I think she’s vulgar and petty. I don’t like Kyle either. Her endless jabs at Lisa in her talking heads are annoying. IMO, Kyle is the true mastermind and has been since season one. Kyle “plays” nice, but she’s always at the center of a takedown. Can’t. Stand. Her. I liked Lisa R. and Eileen in their first season, but can’t stand either one of them now. Lisa R. is too flippy-floppy and easily manipulated, and Eileen is an undercover b*tch. She seems to be jealous of Lisa V. and takes every opportunity she can to take her down. The show has gotten boring and stale with in your face extravagance and catty remarks about trivial BS. I watched two episodes. I think I’m done for the season. On all of these reality shows I can’t get with the mean girls, attack one person ritual that they do all the time. It’s childish and petty and unattractive for all of them.

I like to think of lvp as the regina George of the rhobh, rinna and kyle are the other 2 plastics, they don’t agree with her behavior but they are more afraid of not being friends. dorit is shaping up to be cady, the girl who thinks she can be friends everyone but really wants to be a plastic. I like to think of Eileen as the tina fey character, she’s the adult of the group, Erika is likely the girl who fights with cady for wanting to be friends with the plastics.

Only problem with her is the inside needs to be beautiful as well. It’s a bad look to be so hateful. Kyle is stunning and I absolutely love what she dishes out in her comments very spot on.

Every season of this show has been LVP trying (and succeeding) to take the crown from Kyle, the original member, and then defending it from all challengers.

A very worthy opponent has entered the ring.

It’s not that I don’t appreciate the glamour that LVP is bringing, but it couldn’t hurt for Erika to hook her up with a stylist or two.

I’m actually liking Eileen this season, and was glad she kind of brushes off the LVP joke. It was a loaded joke but nothing worth getting into a huff about IMO.

Also why are we focusing so much on the new HW when the other ones are much more interesting? She’s getting a lot of air time for her first season.

Eileen has really changed since season 1. In that first scene she shot with Rinna, I thought she was a really ballsy go-getter, but she seems to have become more and more unsure of herself. Re her cars, yes she drives a nice Ford SUV, but they also have a very flash Audi sedan.

I’ve never been a fan of LVP and am loving that her “style” is having a bad edit this season. Ugh; awful. That comment she made about Vinnie was just so disgusting – ugh; I can’t with her.

Dorit and her equally awful husband are just ridiculous and it pains me to watch them. Why, why, why cast them? Ugh!!!! Surely there are better people out there with true wealth? (Yes, I know she was brought on to keep LVP happy). I thought ‘WTF?’ about the theme of that party – Buddhas surrounded by tacky excess and materialism … hmmm, don’t think those two quite mix 😉

I like Kyle – always have and always will. She strikes me as a very cool (hip, not cold) mother and loyal friend – given her childhood I’m surprised she’s so down to earth. I really like Mauricio too. And their daughters seem very unaffected by their wealth, especially the middle ones.

Lisa Rinna really annoys me and I wish she hadn’t come back. I used to love her on Melrose Place so was excited about her coming to the show but she’s just awful.

I was looking at some old pictures online of Ericka the other day – wow, she was absolutely beautiful before all her plastic surgery – a true beauty.

I’m disappointed in the season thus far … it just feels same-old, same-old … I don’t think they’ll ever be able to capture the magic of seasons 1 and 2 with genuine wealthy people such as Adrienne and Camille.

Thank God, a blog that isn’t taken in by the Vanderpump BS. I find her occasionally witty and the odd barbed comment is entertaining, but her remark to Eileen about her husband had nothing to do with ‘British humour’.

LVP is trying to explain it away in her blog as a test for Eileen. Methinks she is doing a bit of damage control because she knows she just looked bitchy. And let’s face it, Ken is usually nose-deep in cleavage at these parties because he’s only nipple height.

Why on earth do people supplicate themselves to Lisa V’s ghastly frou-frou and diamantee in the first place? She’s manipulative and snide, expects unquestioning loyalty from her friends but gives little back in return. Then she plays the wounded heroine if anyone calls her out on her stuff. As dear old Dolly Parton once said,’Get off the cross, somebody needs the wood’.

I think LVP is bitchy about making those comments about other spouses flrting or cheating, partly because she knows she doesn’t have to deal with that issue herself. She feels pretty superiour about that. She did it to Kyle right in front of their child too. No sensitivity. Ken was maybe not that way ever ,because she was his trophy wife, and is maybe age wise past those temptations now too. To me, the sex questions to Erika about her having an older spouse too, told me what’s up with her and Ken. Not much anymore. LVP was shocked Erika said her husband was still pretty virile, and not really believing her either.

For some reason I continue to watch these shows. All of them. Probably because every once in a while I am treated to a RH moment that is so pure and true, it delights me. The last one was Heather Dubrow falling on roller skates. This episode, it was Eileen dancing when trying to tell Rinna and Ericka what LVP said about Vinnie. It was so awkward and real. I watched it three times. I love Eileen.

LVP needs to loosen up and enjoy herself more, and stop dwelling on getting even all the time. If you’re happy in your life you don’t NEED to settle scores continually, when whatever occoured is long since past.
