Here is what happened last week… (I am not reading it but I think a lot of people got killed)

“Following Rory’s murder, Agnes, who is completely consumed by her role as Thomasyn, murders Sidney and his entire production team. Meanwhile, tensions in the house continue to rise as Matt, Shelby and Dominic argue about Shelby’s infidelity, and Lee and Monet go back and forth about her alcoholism. The fighting is interrupted when Agnes appears and attacks Shelby, forcing Lee, Audrey, and Monet to go into the woods to find help. On the way to find help, Audrey and Monet begin to encounter various supernatural occurrences that frighten them. Eventually, the three woman are kidnapped by the Polk family, and are taken back to their farm, where the Polk’s proceed to cut Lee’s leg off and feed it to Audrey and Monet. Meanwhile, inside the house, Dominic and Shelby come across Matt having sex with Scathach. Matt admits the he came back to the house for Scathach, causing Shelby to murder him in a violent rage. Then, Agnes lights a fire outside the house, demanding satisfaction from the occupants of it. Just then, the real Thomasyn and her mob surround Agnes and Thomasyn kills Agnes by thrusting her cleaver into Agnes’ face.” [SOURCE: Wiki]

Okay, I don’t even want to know what the second picture is, but it doesn’t seem kosher.  Y’all have fun.

Okay I have to tell you guys what I did. I started watching AHS with Freak Show. I never saw the first three. I got hooked on Freakshow and that’s why I watched Hotel the following year. I loved Hotel so much I can’t express it in words. So, this past week I decided I needed to see the first three seasons because I don’t recognize clues or any links. Well, I started with Coven, which I loved better than Freakshow. Then I watched Murderhouse, which was even better than Coven. Finally, I just finished Asylum last night, which was absolutely riveting and brilliant. Now, I can say my order of favorites. #1. Asylum #2. Hotel #3. Murder House #4. Coven #5. Freakshow So far, Roanoke goes behind Freakshow at #6. See you guys after the show !!

The best thing about them is you can go back and rewatch and catch things you didn’t the first time.

Asylum was my favorite one as well LisaPat. When Jessica ended up as a patient, there is a scene of her sitting in a window. In that scene, she appears to go completely mad. Some of the best acting I’ve seen her do. And she has always been successful in her ability. That scene was incredible.

Jessica is the most under-rated actress in Hollywood. I think she is on a level with Meryl Streep, if not better. She is brilliant. I also LOVE that woman who played the kiss of death angel, she was also the red-head witch in Coven who burned at the stake. I love that woman. Asylum was perfect. NO critique – perfect television. So far, Roanoke is the worst for me. I’m not as invested in these people. In asylum, we got their entire backstory from infancy !! LIke tonight I watched, but im not vested. The pig guy was at the door in the end and it was someone they knew!! Was he the pig murderer or what? I dont even know who he is.. but then, I didnt know that Matt was really in love with sas-kwach or whoever the hell she is !!

I think she is excellent too. Frances Conroy is the other actress you mentioned. I have liked her since Six Feet Under but Jessica is the best for me. For me is isn’t so much the personal stories this season but the action moves like in real time instead of months. I like Sarah well but agree with everyone else her accent just isn’t cutting it. Especially when Kathy is there spot on with more than one. The majority of actors on these shows are actually quite talented & the writing is original & incredible.

@Joan, I never saw Six Feet Under, but I am watching “Hemlock Grove” now on Netflix because I was told I’d like it if I loved Asylum. Maybe I will watch SFU? I love Frances. But Jessica Lange is beyond.. just beyond.. way beyond Kathy Bates. Kathy Bates plays crazy perfectly, but can she play anything else? Jessica Lange played a nun, a whore, insane, german accent, russian accent, she is beyond!! I know what you mean about them being in Real Time, but for me its just “ehh” not that impressed. It’s not believable to me that Matt could fall in love with a dead ghost or that Shelby could kill Matt.. just not believable. I hope it keeps getting better. Episode 6 was good, then it went right back to being a horror movie again. I feel like I’m watching “Friday the 13th” with a Pig instead of Jason. I need more plot and character development.

Murder House & Asylum are my top faves.
Season 1 is my favorite, but Season 2 is the scariest.

@UF, Murder House was the scariest! I find things scary that other people don’t find scary. Like, I was more scared by Murder House when I realized that Taissa Farmiga was actually dead the whole time. I was terrified as they walked together to her decaying body in the basement. I’m not as scared by a man wearing a pig’s head. The main character in Murder House hasn’t been in another season since, the lady from the TV show “Nashville?” I think her name is Bonnie Bristol or something? Wonder why?

No there’s nothing to solve. They are supposed to be clues about Season 7. I know they all seem vague, obscure, or even mind numbing but the information is verbatim as posted by source I have been following for the past 4 seasons. While many fans are obsessed with the seemingly little details that connect stories and foreshadowing. Some fans don’t care about these clues & connections.

For Chapter 8 my AHS source posted this:

-Tonight…one clue reveals the state which Season 7 takes place in!

-How many clues are in tonight’s episode? Nine.

-Tonight’s episode’s clues: Pay close attention to dialogue with emphasis. Pay close attention to the details…however small they may seem.

Real versions of the characters? Maybe the people who are the alleged “real person” are also actors and the REAL versions are still not known?

UF, I’m confused about all of the cameras in the real/”real” Polk house. There are at least 3 cameras in each room (not just the handheld). Are they not the real Polks? Are they part of Sidney’s set up? But they really cut Lee’s leg so how could they be actors? I’ve given myself over to the fantasy of the whole thing but this detail is driving me crazy.

Also, I love how Lee convinced Audrey to go back to the Polks’ to get her murder confession tape. She’s a good liar. And Audrey’s probably going to die because of it.

I miss Cricket. I keep hoping his ghost will show up. Plus, I want to see the real Cricket…

I’m only guessing but did the Polks really cut Lee’s leg or was it a re-enactment with actors? This could be why there are cameras everywhere. Episodes 1-5 were Chapters for “My Nightmare Roanoke”, and episodes 6-9 are Chapters of the spin off show “Roanoke 3 Days in Hell”. As of now my opinion is that this is only a show & not real scenes…. In this episode there was talk of spin off shows by Dominic & Lee. I have read some information that Episode 10 will be completely different than 1-9 and it will propel Season 6 to roll into Season 7.

At this point Dylan is one of the actors that did the re-enactments for the show “My Roanoke Nightmare”. Dylan is “Ambrose” who played The Butcher’s son.
