It’s finally time for season seven of The Walking Dead! All of you, um, dead heads?, are dying to know who is going to die. That makes it a very good time to read back through the recaps from last season for clues and to refresh your memory. We haven’t had an episode since April!  I can’t remember lunch.

Luckily, The Lady Cocotte has done a magnificent job of recapping them for you. Don’t forget to follow her on Twitter and show her some love. Let’s start back in October.

A friend heard a big spoiler (that she kindly didn’t share) & said this episode is going to be worse than anything we can imagine. I started popping xanax last night. I’ll try & have the recap up asap but I might be too emotional…

And don’t forget, Talking Dead is going to be 1 1/2 hour long tonight & everyone who was on their knees will be there!

I thought there would be lots of crying in here. Where is the crying? Has everyone taken to their beds?

I’m relieved they didn’t kill Coral. I mean Carl. So funny how Rick struggles to say his name lol. Killed off two of the best characters! Sob!

I’m still pissed. I could have lived with just the first kill but the second has me pissed off.
This is going to be a great season of watching and waiting to see how Rick makes Neegan pay!!!!

I need therapy. Not sure I can handle this. Went from fun escape killing zombies to brutal bashing, my tv viewing time is better spent watching reruns of Downton Abbey. Ugh.

I am not a faithful watcher, but I watched the season premier and I am emotionally drained. I feel like I just read 10 Stephen king books.

On Talking Dead, they kept saying the killings would open up all new stories. That this was a reset. I think they jumped the zombie shark.

I agree, the death of Glen ruined it for me. It has become even more comic bookish than before. Darrell needs to clean up some,he is getting gross with the greasy hair. He was not like that at the start. I hope Carol and Morgan fair better than the new Negan crew did in the season premiere.

This is what happened in the graphic novels so im not surprised but did hope he’d get a reprieve.

OMG..This episode was TOO much! Can’t believe they let Glenn go out like that..smh. The bat beating scenes were just heart breaking…Neegan is a SOB, but he will get his. This season is going to be a good one!

It’s not Daryl’s fault that Glenn died. Rick didn’t catch on fast enough that he needed to act like he was broken, and stop looking at Negan with rebellion in his eyes. Carol would have understood that right off; too bad she wasn’t there to show the others the way. She’s the real brains of the group. Someone was going to die no matter what so Abraham literally took one for the team to spare all the others. He was a true soldier hero!

I am in total shock. The first sacrifice had me sad. In classic Style “suck my nuts” was genius but that was a devasting scene. I always heard the comic book had Glenn going; the show had picked its battles with the comics and not always following them. I feel like everyone had the opinion that “it’s just too obvious to be Glenn” so when Abraham got the bat, we all assumed the cast was safe BUT nope, we were wrong. I was laying down and quickly gasped and yelled when he turned to Glenn.

I heard the “two will die” rumor at the end of last season. I always assumed it was going to be Maggie. It was her and the baby.

This definitely is a reset. The show has changed and not in a bad way. I love this show.

Horrible. I had guessed it would be Glenn, but when Abraham got it first I thought he was safe. Poor Maggie 🙁

The scene where Negan was demanding Rick hack off Carl’s hand, omg. This guy really has them by the balls. Now he has Darryl hostage so any funny business they pull will get another friend killed- at least one. I hate this guy with a passion already.

I had read the spoiler to prepare but I was still hoping that Glenn would live. It was so awful, I still feel sad, between this and AHS I am either sad or scared. I need to find something to lift me up, because all I keep saying is why Glenn?
