Last night I was trying to check in on the crazy in the world via Google News. While I was there, feeding my anxiety, I happened to see a major story in the Entertainment section where the title suggested that Cynthia Bailey was leaving RHOA. As exhausted as I was, I went to see what the heck that was all about. Cynthia just bought a lake house. Cynthia is currently filming. This post makes no sense. Who is the source of this story? Imagine my surprise when the source is….ME! Wait whut? When did I say that?
Apparently, when I said that Cynthia was likely to relocate to LA or NYC sooner than you might think, someone interpreted it as me saying she was leaving the show. From there the story spread like wildfire. The good news is that the major sites all linked to me. The bad news is the story is based on someone reading more into the story than was there. So now I am trending on Facebook. For something that I never said. This doesn’t really bother me, because at least they are linking to me. I wish it was for my Nene news, but I’ll take it.
What bothers me is that my BIG NEWS which I did break exclusively, that Nene doesn’t have a contract with RHOA, was stolen by TMZ. They seemed to make things up surrounding my major points that just were not true and then say they got it from “a source”. I went through a long period where TMZ was stealing my stuff and used to say “Read here first, watch for it on TMZ tomorrow.” That is annoying.
After the story broke, people began asking Nene if she was coming back for RHOA this season and this was one response.
That sounds like a pretty definitive no to me. However, as I said in my original post Nene will likely turn up like a bad penny before the season is over. Bravo doesn’t want to pay Nene any more money. So Nene is trying to get a lot less work time for the same amount of money. Will she get it? Only time will tell.
Last night, Nene was on Cupcake Wars and Cynthia was her assistant. It looked to me like Cynthia was doing most of the cooking and was a great little cheerleader, while Nene got all the credit. Whoever did the cooking, they did much better than I expected. I won’t spoil it for you in case you want to watch it On Demand. Oh and the funny part? It was a Hello Kitty challenge.
Nene played for Broadway Cares and reminded us that she still can’t pronounce Broadway. I’d never seen this show before and my overall thoughts on it are that it would be a really good show to watch while dropping acid. This show would have done well in the 80s.
If you missed Cupcake Wars, it will air again on Saturday at 1 p.m.
