What Did Apollo Stash At Cynthia and Peter’s House?

March 18, 2016 by tamaratattles 47 Comments

Peter Thomas RHOA

On the final episode of RHOA, Cynthia Bailey admitted that the FEDs had raided her house because Apollo had left some things there  before going to the pokey. I don’t know about you, but I’m wondering what he left there?  Andy what reason do you give?  Hey, um, Peter, I just want to leave this Rolex and the suitcase full of cash at your house, okay?  Because I just don’t want to lug all of these valuables around anymore.

In her very brief Bravo Blog, Cynthia shares with us exactly what was left at their home.

Bravotv.com: Were you shocked when the FEDs showed up to claim Apollo’s things?
CB: I think most people would be shocked if the FEDs turned up on their door step! When Peter was asked by Apollo several years ago to leave his car at our house for a couple of days, there was no cause for Peter not to agree. At that time, Peter and I were not aware of any reason why this action would later warrant a visit from the FEDs.

What's the Beef Between Apollo Nida and Peter Thomas?

So “several years ago” Apollo wanted to leave a car at your townhouse with limited parking spots?  And you saw no reason for Peter not to agree?  Are you running a tow lot?  He left a car there for several years?  Was Peter driving it? Was it rusting in the driveway? After the first year,  did you think to say, “Dude, here’s your car?”

Let’s hope Peter wasn’t driving it.

What reason would Apollo be able to give to make someone think that keeping a car on their property was a good idea?  There is a very large parking garage at Phaedra’s house. It is true that she doesn’t let anyone park on her driveway.  There are always cars in the cul de sac from the platoon of babysits and nannies who are there 24/7.  I would imagine that Apollo was allowed to park in the garage.  He did rent a car right before turning himself in. I can’t recall if the FEDs took one of his cars from the house.

Does this make anyone else think that Peter was at least aware that Apollo was up to something fishy?

Yeah, her response reads very “I did not have sexual relations with that woman” to me. Which is to say, it’s been crafted carefully.

I agree, Home. Let’s say you and I live in the same town and you are evicted but somehow have two cars, and you take one to your mother’s house where you will stay until you get it together. And I let you leave the other one at my place. It’s a fucking car in my way! I’d want you to come get it as soon as you were able. Peter and Cynthia live in a townhouse. If I remember correctly, there is a two car garage and a short driveway. Both Peter and Cynthia have cars. How would that not be an annoyance?

These two had to know he was keeping his car there while he was going to prison. Why would they agree to that? How close are Apollo and Peter really?

They could be charged with a crime. “Whoever, knowing that an offense has been committed, receives, relieves, comforts or assists the offender in order to hinder or prevent his apprehension, trial or punishment, is an accessory after the fact; one who knowing a felony to have been committed by another, receives, relieves, comforts, or assists the felon in order to hinder the felon’s apprehension, trial, or punishment. Perhaps, accessory after the fact. Peter knew Apollo was a felon, may have been paid which may be able to be traced to Peters account with large cash deposits (thanks Lady Coquette), and maybe money was hidden inside the car. Peter is more than shady and I think he got something in exchange for housing Apollo’s stolen/borrowed car.

Peter and Todd both know that they were hiding Apollo’s assets from the the police. They can act all innocent on tv if they want to but they are not fooling me. If a bank robber asked you to keep bags of money he got from a robbery you would be an accessory to the crime for hiding the money. This is no different. Even if Apollo did not buy these items with money made from his crime spree(which he probably did) he still had a lot of restitution to pay to the victims he stole from. The fact that Cynthia and Kandi would support their husbands in allowing their meathead husbands to protect that dumbass is just plain stupid.

I think some people, Peter, like to feel they can get away with something. Sort of like rooting for the underdog, Apollo. Even though not directly or indirectly connected to his crimes, they can shrug off hiding his car as not be complicit in anything and feign ignorance…Just testing the legal system in a passive way to see if somebody can get away with something. Just testing how long the arm of the feds can and do reach.

Except Apollo is not the underdog! The underdog or dogs in this case are all of the people he bilked out of their money.
There is no way in hell I would let someone park their car at my house for that length of time, especially if there is a garage at Phaedra’s house. This is highly suspicious but I’m not sure exactly why he would do it.

In my example, I use Apollo as the underdog through the perspective of his helpers. If you’re going to help a criminal voluntarily, then you sympathize with their side. So in Peter’s eyes, hypothetically, Apollo is the underdog and he is rooting for him to win by deception. Except neither one of them is smart enough to outsmart the feds.

What about the Phaedra being inquisitive. I know I would be asking my husband about a missing car. Even if her name was not on the pink slip, did she never ask Appolo about the whereabouts of the car? Phaedra can pull the Sgt. Schultz “I know nothing” for just so long. One minute she is on camera at Bar One with her tongue down his throat so far she is teabagging him orally and in the next moment she acts like they had a platonic, roommate relationship.
Vehicles are great for modifications to make rat holes for all kinds of things. Just ask people who run drugs or deal with human trafficking. He could have stashed a fortune out-of-sight.
Peter and Todd knew better. So did Kandi and Cynthia. There is no excuse.

They all knew it was wrong. I thought the filming of pointing out they were storing Apollo’s property was random and very weird. I think someone warned them that they better come clean. I also think Peter didn’t just do it out of the kindness of his heart.

Would he still have kept the titles in his name? I would think the Fed’s would have done dmv check on his name and be late making for the property. But now that I think about it, didn’t he have fake aliases?

The whole thing is so strange. I can see Peter being shady and helping Apollo out for his own benefit. But I cannot fathom why Cynthia would allow that to be going on in her own house. Makes me wonder about her.

The limited space and common sense leads me to believe the car was being driven. Otherwise there is simply nothing in it for Peter and Cynthia. I would be infuriated looking at it every day – never mind years, especially if it meant my vehicle had to sit in the elements when I pay for a garage.

If so, whose name was the car registered to and who was paying the insurance? I don’t know what the laws are in Georgia, but I’m assuming it would need a current inspection sticker and currant registration sticker. And that you would need Insurance on the car to get the registration sticker.

Coming in with Ben Matlock’s theory, why would Apollo hid his properties in the safety of his TV friends not with his wife? doesn’t he have friends in the entire state of GA ? Apollo isn’t that stupid. he knew some one will find out. Apollo & Phaedra are playing us for a story line, to allow continue masqueride dance of am the ” innocent victim.” I got a little curious when she told porsha “who knows what Apollo and Peter were doing, spending too much time togather in the stripclubs.” why will phaedra emphasized on this point infront of camaras? Phaedra is a criminal lawyers who knows folks in and out of the jail, she’s playing the mind trick on us. she and Apollo might have used their TV friends to their advantage in my head.

In addition to the issues of insurance and registration, unless a vehicle is specifcally prepared for long term storage (fluids drained, etc) a vehicle needs to be driven periodically to prevent damage. When my son was deployed several times we took care of his care to prevent damage from just sitting. I assume Apollo and Pet has instructions for caring for the vehicles.

Unless, these items were left as decoys for the Fed’s to find so they will stop looking for where all the rest of his assets are hidden.

Peter has a liquor license (I’m assuming it’s in his name for his bar). I’m surprised he would want to be involved in Apollo’s shenanigans in fear of losing it.

Peter stated that Apollo’s car was at their house in the episode where he and Cynthia went to lunch with Todd and Kandi. Apollo played them with the Mr. Chocolate story and they took his side over Phaedra’s. What’s really sad is after his confession about lying on Kenya, they still chose to believe him. Todd is the worst clowning Phaedra about $8K while he has Apollo’s property that’s probably worth more than that in his garage.

Also, I can totally see Peter not running this by Cynthia. This is the same man that bought himself a new BMW w/out telling her. He also moved her modeling agency across town and closed his restaurant all unbeknownst to her.

OMG, it makes perfect sense! It did seem odd that Peter had a BMW stashed inside that building! Honestly, I don’t remember ever seeing Peter drive it after that scene. I do; however, remember seeing Apollo drive a white BMW last season. I think Peter knows much more about Apollo’s “business” than he’s willing to admit. He was desperate for investors around that time so I wouldn’t put it past him.

Damn TT, the Feds ain’t got nothing on you!!!
