Big Ang’s Throat Cancer Is Back

December 13, 2015 by tamaratattles 34 Comments

Mob Wives Big Ang as Marilyn Monroe!

TMZ is reporting that Big Ang’s battle with throat cancer is not over. Sadly, it seems that she didn’t make it past the two month mark before it reoccurred. Even worse, there are indications that it has spread.

Big Ang and Neil’s season of Couple’s Therapy and it seemed like they really embraced the process and their relationship improved. She was very complimentary of the show on Twitter.  I hope they are still in a good place and that he will be there to support as she fights and beats cancer for the second time.

One of my favorite photos of Big Ang is this Next Magazine cover shoot where she was styled as Marilyn Monroe.

I know we are all pulling for her speedy journey back to remission.

If it turns out that Big Ang was a smoker does that mean she doesn’t deserve your compassion? I don’t know if she was a smoker but I do know that when I was growing up there were countless ads promoting smoking. I still remember the Virginia Slim ads which were geared towards women.

There is nothing rude about my comment. Someone asked if Big Ang was a smoker and I don’t see how that matters. Her cancer is back and she deserves compassion.

To answer your question, I’ve never smoked but I still have compassion for others.

@tamaratattles Exactly! They never ask something like: “Did she work with asbestos?” or “Did she live for years and years right next to one of the most polluted harbors in the world?” That never crosses anybody’s mind. Or how about: “Did she live in a big city where the air is basically comprised of car exhaust fumes?” No, that couldn’t be it.

Blaming the patient is so much more lucrative for the powers that be. I could explode just thinking about it.

Is it any of your darn business? People get cancer every single day for numerous reasons. A family friend just learned that he had stage 4 cancer and he was an extreme nut, didn’t smoke, drink, do drugs or use chemicals. He’s kind of a judgemental asshole, like you, but we all still pray for his recovery.

Yeah, if someone asks a question it’s ok. I’m a smoker, and I too would like to know how many it takes to make you sound like her and have throat cancer. It’s an innocent question. It’s curiosity. Calm the fuck down.

I notice people have more compassion for a junkie shooting up on the street than a smoker. People get cancer and it doesn’t have a smoker or nonsmoker list. It just strikes.

        Amen.

Anyone can get throat or lung cancer. Anyone. Cancer does not discriminate.

I sure hope she beats this. She is one of my favorite reality TV people.

I don’t know what it is about Big Ang but I love her spirit. Not that I would wish anyone else this heartache, like them or not, but special love and prayers to her and loved ones . TT I hope you and the adorable Banjo are on the men. Hate it when our Molly is sick. She’s our heart.

You really felt the need to reply to me just to say that? People fight cancer and do a lot more than just “deal with it.” And If you don’t like my choice of words you can skip right past my comments in the future.

Mark, you are an ignorant asshole.

Doctors agree that the patient’s ATTITUDE, sense of humor, and willingness to fight contribute greatly to beating cancer.

I was shocked when I read this! I really thought she was going to stay in remission. I think she has such a great down-to-earth personality. So much fun and so lively. She’s a fighter but she can still use all the prayers she can get. Praying for you and your family Ang.
