Hey! Did Y’all Know that Brooks Ayers Faked Cancer? (Again) And a Kyle Richards Interview!

This may look like a communal baptism to wash the sins away. But it's just Brooks with VIcki and her family in Miami on August 17, 2015 .
This may look like a communal baptism to wash the sins away. But it’s just Brooks with VIcki and her family in Miami on August 17, 2015 .

So I finally was convinced that Brooks faked cancer last week after giving him the benefit of the doubt all season (because who does that on a national reality show?)  which resulted in a ton of people being mad at ME for believing him. (I feel your pain, Vicki). I thought the subject had been put to rest until E! News tweeted me tonight insisting I watch the show tonight and after receiving a million emails about how Brooks was never treated by City of Hope.  E! News must be experiencing diminished returns on this subject if they are literally tweeting anyone who has mentioned the topic on twitter in the past week, but it seems, I’m going to watch this shit one more time. You know, in case it is not crystal clear at this point. In reality, there were still quite a few holdouts in comments here.  And I can’t fault them for having a hard time believing someone would do this. I mean how does this help his life in any way?  Frankly, my biggest red flag was when he said he was serious with a new woman who he had shown all of his medical records to.  That seemed like bullshit right away. I can’t imagine anyone with a television who would date Brooks Ayers at this point.

Sidenote: The lead story is an exclusive interview with Khloe Kardashian. All that money and she doesn’t have a better makeup artist than this? She looks HORRIBLE.  She should have washed her fact and gone natural. Under all of that glop is a pretty young woman.

They begin with a montage of Brooks saying that his oncologist is at City of Hope.  He had presented a fake documents from City of Hope here. And that was when the evidence was undisputable for me.  Vicki still seemed to “believe” Brooks in her most recent tweets. I  have not looked to see how she is handling this latest wave of information. rhoocbrooksvickiE! News has exclusively spoken with a representative of City of Hope who told them they, ” have not treated anyone by the name of David Brooks Ayers for cancer at their facility.”

So there you have it. Then they go over the fake documents.  Again. Then they go over the fact that he has given multiple dates when he was diagnosed for cancer.

Sidenote: E! is milking this nonstory for all it is worth and I am fast forwarding to their next update. But I have paused on Kyle Richards  who is being interviewed on what appears to be a RHOBH set!??? Is this an old interview or is she filming a party by a pool?  She tells E! That her first kiss was as a teen with C. Thomas Howell who was her boyfriend at the time.  She also tells a story about being at a private party as someone’s home where Prince was performing. She thought he was giving her his guitar while performing so she tried to accept it and he went on with the show and she was humiliated.  Poor thing.  She says her first friend on the housewives was Lisa Vanderpump they were friends before the show. Her worst friend was Brandi Glanville (the interview theme is “first and worst.”) she can’t really put her in the friend category so maybe that doesn’t count.  Thanks Kyle for making this post worthwhile.  I still don’t know where that interview took place. There were clearly a ton of production crew there.  But I saw nary a RHOBH and everyone seemed quite…. pedestrian?  Like it was mostly crew milling about and a few people who seemed to be hired as extras trying to maximize their time walking past cameras. Anyway, Kyle’s interview was like a nugget of corn in this very long piece of poo.

Okay time for the next bit of non-news about Brooks and Vicki. Now with a new graphic about Vicki with the text, What Did She Know???!!!??? Oh the drama.  Are you ready for the big interview with Vicki? I’m on the edge of my seat in anticipation!  Oh wait. They just put up a tweet from Vicki that says, ” I am not the one who was untruthful. I loved a man and believed him, just the way they believe their spouses.”  The tweet was in all caps. Blah, blah, blah, reunion part three montage. Rehash. Rehash.  Apparently, they interviewed Shannon at some point last week and she said, “Vicki Gunvalson is not a victim.” and my husband cheated on me with a chick who looks just like me but doesn’t share my mental health issues.  Okay. I didn’t see that last part but I just assume it was there.

RHOOC vicki nailed to the cross

The interview says she has spoken to the trio of bitches, Meghan, Tamra and Shannon today. They all want to know what Vicki knew and how they can maximize this situation to make Vicki look worse and get them more interviews with tabloid TV shows. Wait, that last part I imagined in my head. Sorry.

They have a quote from Shannon with her stupid picture that says, ” I am still trying to connect the dots. It doesn’t make sense that Vicki would say she spent four hours with Brooks for chemo at City of Hope when he was never treated there. The truth always comes out. ”

They send us to E! Online for the statements from Meghan and Tamra.

From Meghan:  “It’s a very sad and disgusting situation. I never believed I would be surrounded by such lies but hopefully now we can focus on the truth. I pray for him. I would want to tell him that I hope he finds the truth somewhere in his life. The truth will set you free.”

And from Tamra  “I can’t say I am shocked. I’ve always said, If he has cancer I hope he gets better and if he doesn’t…I still hope he gets better. From day one I called him out. I felt he was a con man. I could see it in his eyes and nothing he said was making sense. He’s a charmer, but then you get to know him and after a while his stories don’t add up. In the end, I stopped questioning him as much, started accepting him for Vicki. I knew that if I let go, he would do it to himself.  It’s very hard to tell exactly what Vicki did or didn’t know. My original thought was that he told her he had cancer so that she would stay with him, and at some point she figured out it wasn’t true. But then she made the decision to keep the lie going. That’s the part I don’t understand…why would someone do that?”

Oh the milk of Christian kindness these three women share with us all. Such role models in such a tragic time. Bless their hearts. Only Heather had the God given sense to shut the fuck up on this one.

The interviewer calls it one of the biggest lies in reality TV history and says that Brooks could face legal consequences for forging the medical records from City of Hope.  She also talks about people with cancer following his treatment plan and those implications.  One, he won’t face any charges for forging the documents. Aint nobody got time for that! And B if you base your cancer treatments on a reality show, you need to die.  Darwin’s survival of the fittest should come into play.  Tune in tomorrow for more!  I’m not kidding. They are going to continue this tomorrow.

Please, make it stop.

That is funny and so true. If youre wanting to believe a reality star is suddenly a cancer expert, instead of your doctor, youre in trouble and are ready to fall for anything and anybody. Im all for good nutrition, supplements and the like, but youve got to take all the info in and do your homework, along with your doctor for your condition.

Really??? It was advertised to the masses as a fake cancer cure. Give those that are truly dying of this disease a break vs sucking up to a blog. Those truly suffering are lolling for ANY type of hope! Don’t call them idiots for trying a scheme. Blame the schemers trying to profit!

Did they actually say it cured cancer? Im not on facebook and never will be , so I didnt see it myself. Its hard because, there is alot of stuff out there about supplements and making your body more alkaline helping to ward off disease. And I think there is something to that, but its not cure all for everything I know of someone who put off colon cancer surgery for a year doing altrrnative stuff and wasting away to nothing. Hes in health care. It was more about his fear than knowledge. He was really stubbourn. Finally had the surgery and hopefully will be ok. Youve got to research and probably do both. If they actually claimed a cancer cure they may be in trouble legally. Vickie and Brooks were awful and shady to lie about cancer and I never believed them in the first place.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ON THE JUICING SITE THAT SAYS IT CURES CANCER! JUICING IS ABOUT DETOXING THE BODY. VICKI’S TESTIMONIAL SAYS SHE LOST WEIGHT AND HAD MORE ENGERY. THERE ARE SEVERAL M.D. ON THE SITE THAT TOUT DETOXING WITH THE JUICES TO MAKE THE BODY HEALTHIER AND ELIMINATE TOXINS THAT COULD CAUSE CANCER. ANY REFERENCE TO CANCER IS ABOUT NUTRITIONAL METHODS TO REDUCE YOUR CHANCES OF GETTING CANCER. NO ONE HAS EVER SAID JUICING CURES CANCER.

Vicki actually did claim the juicing would cure cancer. It was on her facebook. I realize I will be banished for this but right is right. She did. She deleted it the same day she and Brooks broke up and also the same day she met with lawyers. Some people saved it though and it was sent in to the proper authorities.

Jaded, you won’t be banished, you freak. 🙂 I don’t pay attention to Facebook, so I never saw anything anywhere saying that juicing cures cancer the website certainly doesn’t say that. The doctors on the website don’t say that, it seems the only proof of Vicki saying that is non existent.

You would have to be a complete moron to think that drinking juice would cure cancer. Anyone who has cancer has medical DOCTORS who advise them on their treatment plan.

And yes, I think if you have cancer and choose to believe drinking juice cures cancer and ignore your physician’s treatment you are too dumb to live anyway. I also think that a total of ZERO people stopped their cancer treatment and relied on Club Detox to heal them.

Y’all are some ridiculous people if you believe that is happening.

I was one of those people who refused to believe that anyone would fake cancer and having lived with a father and son who had/have the disease I am disgusted that I witnessed this farce. I don’t know what sickness lingers in Brooks’ head to make him do this but it is just as insidious as cancer itself. I don’t know if Vicki knew that he was faking and what her motives were but I also feel sorry for her for having to go along with this in order to continue filming a reality show, earn a paycheck and get obviously much needed attention. Despite the trickery I still feel that the other women on this show acted in a horrid, uncaring manner and that they also did what they did for attention and a paycheck. All of them should be ashamed and all of them should be fired. I never want to hear or see any of them again. Brooks will pay his dues in some way for his sick behavior and I am done with the subject and everything that surrounds this awful example of fame-whoring. You were right to hold out Tamra before making a judgment because it is never right to accuse someone of faking such a horrid disease without proof. It just showed that you are a compassionate soul, unlike the cast members of The Real Housewives of OC. They accused BEFORE they had proof and that was cruel. No one won here and everyone lost, including the audience. Now they simply need to disappear and stop talking. lying and gloating.

I still think that if Vicki had kept her mouth shut about Terry being involved and if Brooks hadn’t name dropped that one doctor, naming Heather as his patient, Heather would have waited even later to chime in… and would have continued to give Vicki, if not Brooks, the benefit of doubt.

Now Vicki is going to have to face What did she know, and when did she know it questions for a very long time.

If me reading the recap was too much to handle, I cannot imagine how annoying/exhausting it would be for you to have to write about all of this nonsense!
Like, we get it! He faked cancer and some people gave him the benefit of the doubt and some didn’t. But at this point, we all agree he doesn’t have cancer. It’s time for E! to just let this subject go to rest so you Tamara don’t have to keep reporting on it.
Hopefully this is E’s last post about Brooks and we can all just let him and his fake cancer go.
And WTF? People were seriously giving you a hard time because you gave Brooks the benefit of the doubt on your OWN blog?! Really?
People need to go elsewhere if they are looking for a neutral based site. It clearly states that in the commenting rules.

It’s a violation of hippa to discuss someone’s medical records, history, etc. if the city of hope discussed anything about Brook, he can sue them. Brooks would have to sign a medical release form for medical professionals to answer any questions pertaining to him being treated or not treated. If he’s scamming everyone who’s looking to get answers could possibly face a lawsuit due to hippa guidelines so if I was an Orange County housewife I would tread carefully, because we would never know if he is telling the truth but researching to deep might co$t you some money.

We require a certain level of intelligence to post here. If you have never treated a patient, there is no HIPPA violation in saying “that person has never been treated in out facility.” If you insist on posting here, try to be smarter. Or quieter.

I have to say I too believed he had cancer. I thought only a menace to society and a stupid head would fake cancer on a national tv show with so many rabid inquisitive fans. SMH I excused the wonky docs thinking he merged stuff to hide medical and identifying financial information he deemed sensitive.

That said I am gullible enough to think he set up workaholic Vicki in the waiting area while he ‘got chemo’…. at the nearest strip club for 2 hours then they told everyone who would listen that they were there for 4 hours. I don’t believe Vicki was an original conspirator of this plot.

I’ve also had the scan he claimed to have. I’ve also had a lot of MRIs and CTs. NONE of my reports have looked like that (backing up Shannon’s argument). When I saw what he gave as ‘evidence,’ I almost fell off my couch.

The little bits of his interview they aired during the reunion were… interesting. Dude was so angry, he looked like he was about to jump out of his skin. (HELLO… GUILTY!!) It will be interesting to watch now knowing he’s lying the entire time.

BUT, I agree with Miss Tamara.. After this, dear baby Jesus, please no more. The only reason I’m allowing the Brooks bashing is because I’ve never liked that slimy SOB from the beginning. Hello… KARMA.

Was also obvious that their feelings werent matched, seemed that Vickie was over the moon infactuated, and him , not so much. With his history, and his womanizing I just felt he was using her. Youve got to be so careful these days, you just cant give so much of yourself and wear your heart on your sleeve like Vickie has. The man needs to show you his intensions and that hes sincere, and needs to have a good reputation of being a good man.

This is just so embarrassing. I cringe after every “new development.” I don’t think it proves very much when the evidence is shown that he has never been treated for cancer. OK, he almost certainly does not have cancer but I’ve never seen clearer evidence that someone is deeply mentally ill than to invent cancer, and expensive and intense treatments, and research and forge medical documents, and to go on several TV interviews and lie about it repeatedly. Something is TERRIBLY wrong with someone who is capable of doing that.

I, too, felt pretty stupid when it started becoming very clear he was a lying liar who lies. About cancer. Cancer. But honestly if this had happened to one of my friends, I don’t imagine feeling anything but immense pity and compassion towards the woman who got duped into believing him and lost everything, including her dignity and credibility in the process. Like a lot of women, I’ve had the great luck to have been in a relationship with a shady character, and I remember that despite the enormous body of evidence that kept dropping into my lap about this person, I kept believing him. I really did. It’s incredibly embarrassing, and I was young, but I still look back at myself not with self-hatred but pity…because I can see that it was so hard for me to accept that I had been tricked, duped, lied to, and taken advantage of that I willed myself into believing this person and challenged relationships with people who loved me…all to preserve my sanity in processing pain and betrayal. You have to be pretty desperate to do something like that. And for someone coping with the sudden death of a parent and probably experiencing some regression, it doesn’t surprise me at all that this was how she reacted when she kept seeing the red flags.

Tamara, I’m so glad that you’re pointing out how awfully these women are behaving towards their “friend” instead of primarily focusing on Vicki’s admittedly incredibly stupid behavior and making her out to be some conniving monster. I’m no fan of hers, but watching a group of women turn on one of their own when she’s already at her lowest and at her worst just turns my stomach. For some reason when the women were having at it with Tamra last season I didn’t feel that way at all. Probably because even then I don’t think her feet were sufficiently held to the fire with everything she has done over the years. And she’s spent this whole season showering herself with vindication, as if it hasn’t been proven time and again that she is a vicious, backstabbing, nasty woman who seems incapable of sincere friendships. Everyone has been pointing this out, but for someone whose entire storyline was about being “born-again” and a Christian this season, this is just unkind on the most basic level.

Alessa, that is the only reason I dont judge Vickie harshly. Ive been there too and I wasnt even that young (35) when I had my own Brooks experience. My ex makes Brooks look like Mike Brady from the Brady Bunch. I believed him over everything and everyone. I was powerless. I was so shaken to my core when I finally started to see who he was, I swear I developed PTSD. It was traumatizing. I know what it feels like to have all the proof in the world at your feet and its meaningless because you want to believe in that man. It can turn a smart, strong woman into a helpless idiot.

Its a tough life lesson to learn, that there are men who will pretend to care abiut you,and say anything, to string you along for selfish cruel reasons. I really think Brooks and Vicki did this for two reasons. 1. Garner sympathy for Brooks so he wasn’t the bad guy anymore. 2. Perpetrate a fraud that this club detox stuff kills and/or prevents cancer cells from growing. I’m not a lawyer, but I think Brooks could face charges for forgery (it’s a misdemeanor in Texas to sign a doctor’s name to a piece of paper when they didn’t sign it, idk about in California, but I agree TT nothing will happen there). What may happen to both Vicki and Brooks is the FDA may come after them for how they promoted club detox (a la Kim K and her anti -nausea med promotion on social media) and I think if it’s bad enough the Feds would jump at a chance to take down a reality star.

While I kinda agree with your Darwin statement TT something inside me is just disgusted that Brooks/Vicki would take advantage of the last resort of dying people to make a quick buck. Snake oil salesmen are just the lowest of the low, and that is what I think they did here.

I don’t believe for one minute that Vicki was just supporting the man she loved, that’s a really pathetic excuse. You don’t live with someone claiming to have cancer and not know one way or another. She knew and she was a very vocal and willing participant right up until the end. The Club Detox endorsement deal is proof of that. She didn’t just quietly stand behind her man, she shouted down everyone else, happily encouraged the hate-fest towards Meghan on twitter early in the season hoping she would have no credibility later on when they started questioning the fake cancer and she actively sought to make some money out of this.

Maybe if he said stage I where you could get away with an intravenous method , it could fly. But not stage III. Even if she didn’t go to the treatments she would still see this since he supposedly started chemo in Oct and they were living together by Thanksgiving. Oh, and I have become borderline obsessed with Shannon. She is super duper cray cray to me. She yelled at her husband’s girlfriend at the USC game a few weeks ago. Then it came out that her husband’s mistress/twin had season tickets and they were better than Shannon’s. The girlfriend attended the games in 2014 with Jeff Lewis because (note I am no longer doing the b/c thing now that I know you hate it, TT) I guess her husband wasn’t so happy with her having an affair. Last weekend Shannon tweets out that she’s at the game with her good friend, wait for it…Jeff Lewis. People that is the definition of cray cray in my book.
