I wasn’t all that impressed with tonight’s episode. Although I did enjoy Liz Taylor’s origin story, so I guess not a total loss. lol

LOL! I love how the writers made it a “Death to Anti-Vaxxers” theme. I wonder what the countess is going to do when she finds out that her new nanny has infected all the children in WeHo?

    Argh!!!!

This is the episode I always FEAR. The one where the show starts to derail. WTF???

How did we go from a dinner of prolific serial killers to a class of tween vampires? Only Ryan Murphy. Although a bunch of wet behind ears blood suckers should be really scary to me it was just more violence against teachers and I am sick of seeing that happen in real life on the news, Twitter and Facebook. Yuck.

He has a show full of legendary actors why put more kids on the show? Kathy Bates was awesome as ever. The Liz Taylor story was a bit undercooked for me. I was hoping he would be a legendary ancient Egyptian virus having goddess. He keeps giving us Liz Taylor in Cleopatra.

Still, I enjoyed the show and will tune in next week.

YOU FUCKING READ MY MIND. I wish I could be more intelligible & coherent with my thoughts, but I’m still medicated as fuck right now.

WTF with the vampire child army?
Since Coven the shows annually start to derail around episode 5 or 6. How messy of Alex to infect that boy after she chastised the mother about not vaccinating him.

It was beautiful the way The Countess mentored Nick Pryor to be her true self, but I wanted something more epic with Liz Taylor. At least Butterfield 8 got a shout out. I love that movie.

Yes Ive already stalked Urethra today, thank you for obliging me. I love this show so much. Kathy Bates is a picture of my Mother, truly, and reminds me of her in a zillion ways. This show moves me. I bawled at Liz and Countess March.. “scorch the earth before you” is my new montra. Im going to use that staement in conversation this week and I dont care if its appropriate or not. The plot is really thickening !! Someone is going to be in trouble with the vamp kids running all over town !! The whole town could be infected!! Kids have no control and this is why immortal children are a big no-no in the vampire genre. God its getting goood !!!

Miss you. So glad to see you here. Pain management is key to your recovery, I hope ur doing well and feeling better.

Hey, have you had any NorCor induced hallucinations? 10 years ago I swore I was in Jamaica hearing the best Calypso music ever. I was bummed when I realized I was in my parents home on a Vicodin high recovering from surgery. I swear I can still hear that music when I remember.

But back to the show. I do understand the Alex/Holden storyline. As my kids get older I wish they could stay an innocent child just a little longer. Just a little bit not enternity. The scene where they are shown laying together made me cry.

Liz’s trans……formation (loved when she said that) made me happy. The Countess’s makeover was on point! When she got het groove and began sashaying to the ice machine- love. The Countess’s kind words were so Born This Way. It made up for the school massacre. That took up too much time. Loved Ramona’s mansion with her movie posters! Bam! #brideofblackenstein

I enjoyed the scene when Iris gets back to the Hotel after going to Ramona Royale’s house. The Countess was in costume as Marie Antoinette with vampire bite neck marks and Tristan was dressed up like a Bram Stoker’s version of Dracula. Nice homage….

….and the way The Countess was just sniffing away at the newly infected Iris made me think NOTHING gets passed her.

To me it looked like Finn was dressed up as Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The Countess as Marie Antoinette had vampire neck bite marks too.

This season here after one of the earlier episodes I also mentioned about the stupid hat that Murphy teased us with last season. Someone said (I can’t remember who but it might have been you Steve) that The Hat could have been a clue to H.H. Holmes.

The John Lowe character is interesting. Tonight he got fired. He is always with Miss Addiction 1994 but what is his addiction exactly? I was wondering why Evan Peters wasn’t cast here. He usually plays the young ingénue in AHS. I wish his role was bigger but I’ll take any scene he’s in.

He sure was! He’s an MVP this season for sure, as is Kathy bates. Watching her transform from a quivering mess to a corkscrew yielding assassin was a joy to behold. Did I go too far? NOT AT ALL!!! Looool

The worst character for me this season is Chloe sevegny and I was totally excited initially with her being on the cast. And I can’t get over why she is still sporting the sister wife hairdo from Back when big love was on HBO. Would it kill her to update her look a bit? Ugh..

Overall though I LOVED this episode. Was worried cuz the last two have struck me as being a bit too campy and silly. Glad AHS seems to be back on track. Yay!!

I agree with you wholeheartedly, Satinbliss. I just watched it and I thought it was an awesome episode.
Scene one with Alex and the blood transfusion bags was fucking gory. The kids becoming vamps at school was okay, but the scene where the countess
encouraged Liz Taylor to find and explore her true self was awesome.
(Side note- when we were young and “She’s got Bette Davis Eyes” was all over the radio, my little brother thought it was “She’s got better taste than I”). I still think that’s hilarious.
I liked Kathy Bates metamorphosis as well.
I would have liked to have had a shute like that at my old job. I could have tossed a few people down there myself.
I am pretty sure I am the only one, but I could never understand Chloe Sevegny’s appeal. I don’t find her sexy. I don’t think she is a particularily great actress, yet she has this cult like following and people think she is like some iconic New York fashion chick or something. I don’t get it.

I haven’t watched last nights episode yet, but I do agree with some of you that last week was a little lackluster.
What bummed me out was the blatant ripoff of Natural Born Killers. When Aileen W. and Richard R. we’re dancing to Sweet Jane, they did the exact same dance Mickey and Mallory Knox did. The Cowboy Junkies song was used in a different scene (when they got married on the bridge, not when they were dancing in the cafe), but still, it seemed like Murphy totally stole that from the movie (especially since they danced the exact same way). Maybe that was intentional though. Actually, it had to be intentional. Maybe he was giving a nod to NBK by doing that. I don’t know. It bugged me though.
However, I did think she portrayed an excellent Aileen W. and Jeffrey Dahlmer was portrayed well, too.

I didn’t even register she was on sister wives but now I totally see it!
Where is Scarlett anyway? Who is looking after her? I must have missed it. How fun was seeing Iris and Liz bonding though. I’ve got to wonder too now with her new found confidence how her relationship with Donovan will go because I know she loves him but ultimately he’s cursed her and put her into a position she’s definitely not comfortable in. Surely she knows the Countess knows .

There is something wrong with me: when Iris was a bitter bitch in the previous episodes I didn’t like her. Now, she acted vulnerable and sad, but is a vampire, I feel sorry for her. I hope they get her gussied up a bit to help her self-esteem. It will help her new attitude of strength and stop the crappy guests.

I am wondering what is the plan for Iris to supposedly be able to fool the Countess and destroy her some way. Were they specific about that and I missed it?
