Kim Biermann took her first flight since her TIA (mini-stroke) to fly to NYC to interview with Michael Strahan on Good Morning America about her recent health scare that knocked her out of DWTS. She tells Michael that she was extremely nervous the entire flight but got through it without incident.
Michael asks about her mini-stroke that knocked her out of the DWTS competition. Kim says, “It was a blessing in disguise. The minor TIA revealed that I have a PFO, which is like a hole in your heart. I was born with it and it never closed. That’s what caused it basically.” PFOs are not that uncommon in about 25% of people the hole in your heart you are born with fails to grow together and close. That condition can lead to TIAs and strokes. There is not much doctor’s do for it. I suspect that Kim will be taking a baby aspirin a day an hoping for the best.
Strahan asked about the fucktards like Wendy Williams who claimed she was faking the whole incident to get out of DWTS. Kim tells him, “I think it’s sick that somebody would ever think that and some of the people that have said that, it just shows me their mentality.” A sentiment that echoed her tweets about Wendy Williams‘ comments.
Kim continued, “I don’t think that many people would really fake a stroke. Especially since I love “Dancing With the Stars. It’s been one of the best experiences of my life. It’s been very difficult for me to not be on the show.”
Despite the online petitions to have Kim return to the show, the legal team at DWTS remained steadfast in their insistence that she withdraw. When Strahan asked if Kim felt that DWTS made the right decision, she said she does not.
Kim says the she got out of the hospital on Friday and learned the dance all day Saturday. She was prepared to dance in Atlanta via satellite or they could have used her rehearsal footage as they have done in past situations.
“I was able to dance, I just couldn’t fly,” she said. “I feel like they could’ve done something via satellite. They’ve made exceptions in the past!”
Strahan asked if she got more clarification from the network. Kim said, “I tried to kind of get an answer because I really do love the show. I love everybody…the producers, the casting directors, all kind of fought for me, but in the end it was the lawyers that made the decision.”
Gee it’s amazing they could find all that considering she was faking the whole thing. Let the morons begin posting that she is making up having a PFO. It’s definitely that kind of commenting day.
