As tired as we all are of the entirety of the Real Housewives of Orange County being about a bunch of nosy bitches harassing Brooks Ayers and Vicki Gunvalson as he fights cancer, imagine how Brooks himself must feel. Brooks has been tweeting lately after a long period of silence on the subject.
On Monday he gave an interview to ET Online where he gave a brief statement on his Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (a form of blood cancer) stating, “I have cancer.” He also said that having cancer doesn’t mean you have to be lying around in a hospice bed. He also says that the nutritional IVs and supplements he has been taking have shown him tremendous improvement helping to eradicate his inflammation is gone. He plans to return to Orange County for another round of chemotherapy in early October. Hmmm, isn’t that about when the reunion will be filmed?
Brooks posted the above note from Meghan and Jim in August on his Twitter account. Is anyone surprised that Meghan doesn’t know how to spell ‘lieu” let alone what the phrase “in lieu of” means? But at least she has that superpower where she is able to diagnose cancer. When asked about why the harpies are so obsessed with his health trials, Brooks said, ” “I think they do it to create drama — manufactured drama and that’s sad to me. I’ve distanced myself in a lot of ways from it. It’s useless drama that brings on stress that quite frankly no one needs and in particular my situation. I’m not running from anything.”
That whole “I’m not running from anything ” has even me feeling some kinda way though…
Have we considered the possibility that Brooks and Vicki went along with the producer driven storyline in advance? Who would agree to that while fighting cancer though?
One thing I know for sure is, I am so ready for this storyline to be over.
