I was all ready to recap this tonight and then ended up having to take some anxiety medication and then I took a nice long nap and overslept. But as long as I am up now, I am going to get on it because tomorrow (today) appears as though it is going to be a repeat of Tuesday. Let’s see what scripted drama we have in store for us this week. I hope we get some more island time.
We begin with Emile and Rocky in the laundry man. Emile is into Rocky and Rocky is over Emile after the first date from last week. Plus we have fresh meat coming in to replace Don and all the girls know it.
The ever manipulative Kate invites Connie to move into her quarters in Don’s spot so she can bunk with a devil she knows rather than gambling on whatever dude they send in next. Connie seems down with that. That leaves Emile with an empty bunk in his quarters. I think this will be a storyline about Emile trying to move Rocky into his quarters.
It’s rare that they show these off days. Especially since they have bad weather. And that does not last for long. The new primary is coming. He owns several restaurants. This means it’s time to continue the Leon is not really a chef storyline. Leon immediately says he is going to cook beef cheeks. As Kate points out, this seems to be one of only a few things in his limited repertoire. The bad weather is forecast to continue for the charter, it’s very windy and cold. Captain Lee is concerned about the weather.
Eddie is still having problems with his girlfriend who cheats on him during his charters. They are setting us up for a Eddie cheating with Rocky storyline.
The guests arrive and are ready to drink. The requested Don Julio on their preference sheet and apparently it was not purchased. Too expensive? So they are already unhappy. The primary opens a beer bottle with his teeth. Classy. Kate works quickly to try to get some before they leave port. The captain is trying to get out of port without being blown into a jetty. Emile is already screwing up his job. Things are off to a very bad start.
Dane seems to be a nice guy from North Carolina who claims to come from lots of money and have a lot of experience on yachts. Everyone thinks he is hot. He’s okay. Captain Lee tells him he needs to work on his shaving skills. Meanwhile, Leon made dinner for the guests despite them being off the boat.
The female charter guest lure Dane to the hot tub. The rest of the crew stop him just in time. Emile tattles to Eddie about the situation. Later, Leon hears Kate badmouthing him. Later the guests once again LOVE Leon’s food. Then again this is the group of guests who ate chicken fingers on the island and the primary has opened every single bottle of beer with his teeth. I doubt their palettes are that sophisticated. You know, unlike myself. I have recently been converted to eating steaks medium rare. I was raised in a well done family. Just another thing I had to discuss with my parents. Apparently, eating meat well done is akin to child abuse. This explains so much.
On the very last night, a boat finally brings a bottle of Don Julio 1942 and the passengers are finally happy. Their lives are literally complete. Meanwhile, Rocky’s body has been taken over by an actual stew and she is not OCD stew ironing and organizing like Vanessa from Big Brother on Strattera.
In the crew meeting, they split a $25,000 tip and Captain Lee gives them the night off to hit the island. Everyone gets ready to go but the Captain and Eddie get in the hot tub. Captain Lee gives Eddie relationship advice and tells him that he needs to get his head back in the game on the boat.
The crew goes to the island and gets trashed. Emile gets drunk and angry with Rocky for toying to him.
Next Week: Rocky moves on to….Connie??
