Blind Item: Someone’s Attorney is Working Overtime to Save Their Job

September 2, 2015 by tamaratattles 73 Comments

Stupid

Tamara Tattles cannot for legal reasons disclose what is happening specifically…what we can say is that there was a big difference between TMZ’s first report of a recent event and the second.  In their initial report,  there was mention of SELF DEFENSE.  In the second,  it was mentioned an entirely different someone could be “demoted.” This was odd because one does not get demoted for defending oneself in any job.

In this blind item, we hear that “someone’s” attorney is working overtime to send information to TMZ to make it appear that their client is not to blame. Allegedly. So we hear. From the talk on the streets. Not that we have iron clad sources or anything.

If we did know anything, we might have heard that more than one employer is getting ready to cut someone loose for drunken ratchet behavior. And an entirely different person is also under fire from their source of employment on a radio show. Allegedly. So the people on the streets say.

There are at LEAST three major entertainment broadcasters in Atlanta who are quite displeased with a recent chain of events.

Stay tuned. Because while reality shows may cash in, broadcast media as whole will cash out.  And stupid is, as stupid does.

First my caveat… I absolutely SUCK at blind items. To the point that I avoid them in order to keep myself from being overly frustrated… but this is TT. So I read it. I’m also exhausted, but this virus I have keeps me up. So yeah, insomnia plus a cold might be interfering with my ability to figure it out..

Having said all that – I totally read it as CYNTHIA being the one in trouble. If Porsha did not physically touch her and was just yelling at her, generally being obnoxious and annoying – then Cynthia touched her first and that MIGHT be considered assault. In the same way that Porsha touched Kenya first (even though that bullhorn was an assault on the senses), AND was demoted last year.

It could be the cough syrup with codeine talking though.

But I thought something doesn’t quite mesh with the comments. So I must be missing something. Not sure that they are not both in trouble along with someone else. Cynthia maybe demoted, Porsha gone? and one other person? Not sure. Like I said the brain is not what it used to be.

I’m not sure, but isn’t physical contact considered battery? And Porsha getting in Cynthia’s face in a threatening manner is assault?

If that’s true, then I would think that Porsha started it, since Cynthia went to the other side of the boat, and Porsha tracked her down.

Porsha does seem pretty proud of herself. Very childish.

I haven’t watched hardly any TV in the last few months. On top of that I’ve been so busy I could scream. So I’ve missed a lot of news.

Did Porsha really believe that she could twerk in someone’s face and not have to answer for it? Who does that?!!!

I don’t care what anybody says. That was a horribly uncouth thing to do. Her aim was to elicit some sort of strong reaction from Cynthia. And no, it’s not the same as what Kenya did with the scepter and/or bullhorn! Porsha was being ratchet for ratchet’s sake and trying to assert her authority/superiority/strength over Cynthia. Kenya was adding some more entertainment value to the show with some props. Shit-for-brains Porsha didn’t, or couldn’t, understand that at the reunion and then overreacted.

Porsha’s acting like she’s one of the inmates on Lock Up Raw. What’s next? A knife fight?

It’s a little confusing, but if I’m reading it right, Someone #1 is Cynthia and Someone #2 has to be Porshia. Is Cynthia concerned that Bravo might demote her because of this incident? Can’t wait to see the tapes!

I get from this that Someone #1 is Porsha and Someone #2 is Shamea as Shamea mentions in her Twitter profile being an on-air personality. Porsha is the person who said on National TV that she had not and would not apologize to Kenya and Bravo rewards her for this by not only keeping her on but “promoting” her back to Peach Status. This sent a message to Porsha (as it does to all kids) that there are no consequences for bad behavior. If anyone is at fault in this situation with Cynthia, it is no doubt Bravo and specifically the person who decided how to deal with Porsha.

That makes sense at first I thought it was Cynthia but then again the point I think Tamara is trying to make is that Porsha is working overtime (meaning TMZ is reporting Cynthia’s alleged demotion based on false tea) to make herself come off as innocent.
Now that i know Shamea is an on air personality I’m going with

#1 is Porsha and #2 is Shamea.

If all you can do is twerk and call people bitches then why are you on the Real Housewives? she needs to audition for another reality show…maybe “The Bad girls club” ? Cynthia didn’t know what this drunken fool was going to do…she is not a fighter so she reacted in a way that a non fighter would..kicking her back off of her! I’m not condoning the kicking but Porsha needs to sit down somewhere…..lately she has been the common denominator in the physical fights…hmmmm

Per TMZ, the first article was about the fight and stating Cynthia was acting in self defense. The second article stated Cynthia may be demoted for physically assaulting Porsha because there’s no rule against antagonizing but there is regarding physical violence. So the “more than one employer” comment regards to Cynthia and then Porsha (radio show part).

SHAMEA ALSO WORKS FOR DISH NATION AND WAS PART OF THE ALTERCATION! Porsha has 2 employers: Bravo & Dish Nation and both are not please with her. Dish Nation is not pleased with Shamea either. Cynthia might get demoted because of the “no tolerance” policy regarding violence. Reading comprehension is important. Her behavior was not the drunken ratchet referred to, obviously. Porsha has been a liability for awhile getting arrested, being aggressive, etc.

It is kind of annoying to me that they say that aggressive behavior doesn’t equate to physical attacks. Almost all wars, acts of violence, fights, etc. start with someone speaking a word that turns into aggressive behavior and then some kind of violent action. Also, I saw that the producers were reviewing the footage to see if it was program worthy. WHAT???? I think it is time to start letting these programs go. This is just sick.

Bravo may be in some trouble here for negligent hiring liability and that negligence would be all about Porsha. They fired her knowing full well that she’s violent after the Kenya attack and now this drunken aggressive act is assault. Assault is VERBAL and battery is the physical. Therefore, Bravo’s insurance company is going to go nuts if Cynthia chooses to file a lawsuit. Self defense is not a crime. Cynthia has every right to defend herself at any time. Ok. gonna take off my judicial robe now. IMO Bravo needs to fire Porsha.

Usually, an individual who physically assaults another person which results in a trip to the hospital is not referred to as “the victim”. “Assailant” seems to fit better.

Yes, there are forms of both verbal and physical assault. If you read of 5th degree assault in the newspaper – that’s merely a verbal attack. 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree assault are all considered physical. Battery charges come in where there is real physical damage done – not just hair pulling or something like that.

Assault is verbal? Seriously, it’s dangerous to misinform and spread rubbish shit if you don’t know what you’re talking about.

In its simplest form assault is the intent to cause physical injury in which another person can reasonably suspect imminent harm or offensive contact.
Hugging a stranger on the streets can be assault if the person in question interprets your actions to be threatening.

Punkinseed, you make a lot of good points but I’m not certain that Cynthia has a “right to defend herself at any time”. There are laws that define self defense and at what time it can be used.
Cynthia can use reasonable physical force to protect herself from imminent or immediate physical harm. She can only use the amount of force that is needed to stop the threat of harm.
Based on the information provided by TT, Cynthia used appropriate force. Obviously Porsha was within striking distance if Cynthia could use her foot to push her back and once Porsha fell there was no further physical contact from Cynthia.
If I were Cynthia I would involve an attorney regardless of Bravo’s position towards me in the incident. Bravo has a legal obligation to provide a safe working environment. They didn’t. Not only did Bravo permit Porsha’s non invited guest to attend the outing, but they condoned the two of them drinking enough alcohol to become empowered and aggressive. What is of a greater concern is Porsha’s violent past behavior and being rewarded by Bravo for acting like a thug. Bravo set a precedent.
From the very beginning of Porsha’s time on RHOA, she has been an aggressor…following Kenya from her event after Kenya left because of Porsha’s rudeness, the incident on the island vacation with Kenya (where Kordell was upset at hearing Porsha’s raised voice), her behavior at a lunch where Kenya expressed a desire to offer an olive branch (never happened) but Porsha was too intent on making snide remarks. The list goes on. There is nothing more important than a reputation. Porsha has quite the reputation and little of it is good.
She will never learn that when you don’t know the way out of a situation, take the lady’s way out!

Thank you for going into further detail about the levels one may use in self defense. People get into trouble for defending themselves and then attacking their aggressor and going too far. Cynthia had removed herself from the situation and Porsha came after her. Cynthia’s kick may be in question, but a reasonable person would believe that when someone is screaming threats and are closing in on you (arm’s length) and you have no way to escape other than using force then that is more than likely a form of self defense.
Porsha put herself in this situation. Porsha is a loose cannon and a liability to the other employees and needs to be fired. She has no impulse control and a record of her lack of control.

Yes, Dracla! I don’t know the law regarding such matters, but I have never hit anyone in my life. Ever!

Putting myself in Cynthia’s position, as it has been described in TT’s reports, I believe I would have also wanted to get Porsha away from me somehow. Cynthia didn’t have too many options. (They were on a boat, after all). If Porsha was being as assertive as it has been reported, then I really can’t blame Cynthia.

HOsha should have been fired when she put her nasty hands in Queen Kenya’s hair and pulled her to the floor. If Bravo does anything to Cynthia she should sue!*

Was Teresa demoted on RHONJ when she knocked over Andy? Was Ramona demoted when she hit Kristen with a glass? Why do we only hear of demotions on RHOA when there’s a cat fight.

When Porsha first came on this show I thought she seemed so nice, naïve, innocent. After all the stuff with Cordell I really felt empathy for her. She has, IMO, become one of the nastiest, sneakiest, women on these franchises. I saw Claudia truly try with her and apparently sincerity and class are above her pay grade. Cynthia may be a little unexciting shall we say, but I think she has a sweet heart. I was sad when her and Nay Nay were no longer friends because I think she was good for Nay Nay. She is loyal and tries to see the good. I saw her change to because of this show. I couldn’t stand anyone doing what she did to Cynthia. I probably would have kicked her too. How much are you supposed to take from a drunken person or angry person before you feel threatened. We have seen her do this before with Kenya getting in her face. And Cynthia didn’t do what SHE did. Frankly, I am so over the aggression in this franchise just like N.J.. Way too much hands on people drama. I don’t like seeing women acting like men. Just my opinion.

Pwhoresha needs to go. A more ghetto dummy you’d be hard pressed to find.

These comments are so interesting. Bravo has to speak to this incident, or in my opinion, it will ultimately change the dynamics of the show, eventually pushing it off air.

In the corporate industry, honcho’s simply offer monetary settlement packages to leave, with the understanding that their will be no litigation. In this case, that might be one of their options…they want the footage for ratings, but may have to shell out money so that all parties (Porsha & Cynthia) are in agreement.

I’m interested in knowing how this is going to play out.

When something’s flipping around and a danger on a fishing boat it should be gaffed as quickly as possible to bring it under control. Dang shame one wasn’t handy.
