The Head of Household competition is in full swing. Players are crouched, holding down three buttons with a foot and both hands. They’re waiting for the screen to read “Ready, Set, Go!” Except the screen keeps making bro jokes about Jace. He might not be on the memory wall anymore but he’s the star of this competition. It comes down to a final race between James and Austin. Which side of the house will hold the power this week? Will Austin and Liz get to keep their den of sin (ie: the HoH room)? Yes. Yes, they will. Austin wins Head of Household and we get to look forward to another week of fingerbanging. Awesome.
At this point in the game, everyone feels safe with Austin’s win because they’re all in alliances with him. Well, Vanessa doesn’t feel safe but that’s because she never feels safe (and I’m starting to think that’s not game specific). I don’t even want to hear the AusTwins talk about possibly putting her up this week. They’re not going to do it. Not only that, they’re going to put up exactly who she wants. Every week, folks. Let’s just give her the win already. I’m not happy about it but I’m just being realistic.

There’s a lot of back and forth about who to put up. I’m not really paying attention because it’s all pretty pointless. Austin wants to work with James and Meg. Vanessa doesn’t trust John. Steve doesn’t want to be a pawn. Vanessa tried to backdoor Austin once. Blah blah blah. Austin in enjoying his 15 minutes of fame in the HoH room. He’s strutting around, puffing out his chest and complaining about how everyone is pissing him off. He’s basically trying out for WWE again. Oh well, I guess it’s better than watching him and Liz play house.
We’re waiting to see if Austin is going to nominate Meg/James or John/Steve. Which duo will the AusTwins (Vanessa) choose to work with? They’re making a big stink about how Steve doesn’t want to be a pawn against John. He must not trust us! How could he not trust us? That’s not how you play with a team! Vanessa is on the warpath. Things looks dire for Steve.
Austin puts on his tophat to announce nominations. I guess Judas is making another appearance (“See, WWE, I am a viable character”). Austin (Vanessa) nominates Johnny Mack and Steve. Supposedly one of them is a pawn, I’m just not sure which one.
Tune in on Wednesday for the veto competition starring Zingbot!
At this point, I almost want Vanessa to win to teach them a lesson. They are bunch of cowards. To not put V up shows how stupid and scared they are. If only John or James had won, then we may see Vanessa on the block. I would love to see the hairy beast and his love sitting on the block with V getting back-doored. Time is running out.
I totally agree with your comment, Riley. Every week is not the right week to unload Vanessa, and I’m beginning to think by the time they decide it’s the ‘right’ week, it will be too late. I don’t really want Van to win, but she’s behind everyone that’s gone to jury and is playing the game. Hard. I at least have to give her that…grudgingly though 🙂
I agree but I don’t think Vanessa would put up Austin either so he is right in that regard.

Is Vanessa is witch? Does she have a spell over the HG? Or are the HG just so incredibly stupid to be so inept that they can’t see her shenanigans?
They spends hours & days discussing why she needs to go, but then they nominate or vote out other HG. Personally I want her to stay just for the entertainment, but at this point the HG are just tucking the winner’s check inside her straight jacket. As crazy & messy as Vanessa is, if she makes it to final 2, she deserves to win.
I did not watch tonight’s episode, but I heard that Austin delivered one of the most ridiculous nomination speeches in BB history. WHAT DID HE SAY?
I didn’t recap it. But it was epic and long.

I agree U, she deserves to win if they continue to pass on kicking her out. I haven’t watched this season and have only read the recaps here. So it appears that Vanessa is going to win due to HG that are big time cowards.
I still have no idea who the HOH wants to go home this week. Because the HOH doesn’t know who he wants to go home because VANESSA hasn’t told him yet.

The twins have more than once discussed with Vanessa their desire to dispense with Austin, and both have remarked about his unpleasant smelliness. There is an unspoken understanding between these three women, by all means secret, that Austin will be cut from the pack. And Austin thinks rightly that everyone has alliances with everyone in the house, but this is one little alliance he hasn’t uncovered.
Bouji, your understanding of what is happening on feeds and on the show is WAY different from mine. IJS. Lest people believe I think you have a bead on the house.

anyone else have a viewing problem with Big Brither on the west coast?
Schedule/guide said it was on but played a 1st season rerun of Blue Bloods then a rerun of Madame Secretary.
No Big Brother.
Sorry Cali! I would have recapped if I had known. 🙁

TT, no worries but isn’t that unusual to happen? I’ve never seen a popular show go “poof” before.
Austin just asked Liz to be his girlfriend…and she agreed. Liz was quick to point out all they do is cuddle and kiss. Yeah, right.
It was on the CW in the bay area tonight, maybe because of football. It looks like it’ll be on the CW again on Thursday.
mjoydub, thank you! I didn’t flip around to look for it. I didn’t have football here but I can see how it happened.
Lady Cocoette did a fine recap.
I live in the Los Angeles market with Directv, it was on here. Last week it was on KCal 9 when CBS had football.
I would have recapped Austin’s ridiculous nomination speech (twitter is all a-twat about it) but my feed went down right before it happened. Sorry guys! The rest of the episode was so booooring-uh! Every week it’s the same thing: I’m going to nominate Vanessa (no I’m not). Yawn…
I’m waiting for CBS to upload this episode so I can fast forward and only watch the nom speech. This is the first time I voluntarily did not watch an episode. I did tape it, but I deleted it.
lol
Lady, no worries. For me this season BB is not interesting. I don’t find the people likable or intelligent.
LOL This is one of the best seasons ever. Feeders usually start saying “THIS IS THE WORST CAST EVER!!” on week two.

TT, I may have started watching to late to like a certain house guest. By this time I am a fan of one person and dislike others. I have not connected with this group. I also enjoy the crazies.
It is a weird season in that aspect Cali, I am not really rooting for one side of the house or the other. I think the smart move is to get Vanessa out. If Becky comes back with John in the house she has already said she wants to work with Van rather than against her. Becky JMac and Vanessa would be a powerful three.

Tamara, what I’ve noticed about the conversations between Vanessa and the twins is that Vanessa culled more info from them than anyone else has about how and when they would let Austin go. Now Vanessa has that information in her back pocket to use if it’s needed.
When did that conversation happen? Before or after Liz decided she liked Austin 93%? I loved Steve’s DR at the end when he said he had to hand it to Vanessa for playing a masterful game. For her not to be nominated…the mist is real.
I saw that. I do not think she is so masterful, they are all just really stupid!
I am now just getting around to watching the show. Can’t stop laughing at
all the alliances. How old are these people? Steve was the funniest when saying he wasn’t worried about Austin because he has TWO alliances with Austin. For him it was a win-win situation. Oh Steve…..you are soooooooo-ah cute. 🙂
The conversation that I am particularly referring to (between the twins and Vanessa) is at least two weeks old. No 93% had been offered as yet, but that 93% girlfriend can change anytime or could be insincere even now. By the way, Julia is the one who told Vanessa that Austin was planning to backdoor her. This is the only significant game move Julia has done lately, and it was meant to help Vanessa, who sensed a plot but got confirmation only from Julia.
I didn’t watch last night. No need to. As much as they talk like they don’t know what direction they’re going to go in when the Austwins win comps, we already know what’s going to happen on eviction night, and because no one has a mind of their own, we know it’s going to be a unanimous vote because “that’s whT the house wants”. They do it even if it means voting against their own allies. I’ve never seen game play like this before. At this point Vanessa deserves the $500,000. Who else deserves it with all the stupid moves that have been made in that house? Davonne that’s who. She would not have fallen for all the vacillating between putting Vanessa or someone else. She would have known what to do and stuck to doing it. Anyway… It’s almost over. On to the next one.
Austin’s performance came across as very well rehearsed. Is he still
friends with the Hulk? Austn was in the BB house when that all went down.
