Joe Giudice Says Goodbye to Shore House and Hello To The Shore Cops!

Joe and Tre at the shore during happier times...
Joe and Tre at the shore during happier times…

Joe Giudice and the girls went to the shore house this weekend for one last time before it is auctioned by the bank school begins.  The house is scheduled to hit the auction block tomorrow, August 18th, according to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office. So Joe decided to have one last hurrah in the form of a big party. It appears that all of the girls were with him.

And the cops were called!

There are numerous accounts of what happened early Saturday evening when the party was in full swing. Let’s look at the two most reliable sources, shall we?

Don't go to jail yet, daddy!
Stop getting in trouble, daddy!

First to report was TMZ. They have some photos of the cops at the house sent in by the nosy neighbors.

Here is TMZ’s version of events:

Police were called to Joe Giudice’s beach house in New Jersey on Saturday after an argument with a neighbor got out of control. A witness tells TMZ Joe’s oldest daughter Gia was locked out of the house and trying to get in for several minutes. Once Joe finally let her inside, he could be heard screaming at Gia from the backyard … that’s when a neighbor stepped in.

We’re told the woman approached Joe’s house and the two got into a shouting match. The neighbor could be heard yelling, “this guy is crazy, he’s dangerous, call the cops.”

Officers arrived to diffuse the situation and we’re told Joe’s daughters were begging them not to arrest their father. A law enforcement source says no arrests were made and the argument was settled peacefully.

A rep for Joe says the whole thing started because Joe was having a party and the neighbor felt it was inappropriate for children to be around.

Well, that seems reasonable. Except none of the photos showed the girls or even Joe for that matter outside talking to the cops. I could see the cops going inside to check on the situation, and the girls freaking out because daddy is already going to prison. It would suck if he spent some of his last four months in the county click.

Here is People magazine’s version of events:

“It was a keep [and] restore the peace call made over loud arguing,” patrol officer Christopher Fritz of the Stafford Township, New Jersey, Police tells PEOPLE, adding the neighbor reported the argument was between two men. “Once everyone was calmed down, we cleared … There was no cause for arrest.”

“Joe is upset that someone said the cops were called because he was supposedly yelling at Gia – when she wasn’t even there. She was never locked out of the house. The house was open,” says the source, who claims Gia was at the beach with her friends. Still, the source says the dispute was concerned with family.

In this version Joe was arguing with another guy, based on the last sentence it could have been a family member. Maybe his brother was down there. I mean someone had to drive him and the girls down there, right?  If Gia was at the beach with her friends, who was watching the other three?  Maybe he was yelling a Milania.

Whatever version you choose to believe, it sounds like the Giudice family had one hell of a final party in the shore house. Too bad Tre missed it!  Now somebody go buy me that shore house. Bidding starts at $100!

Yikes! My parents let me go to the lake with my friends at that age, and ride our bikes into town on our own. I was a good kid, and I didn’t have sex until college. I think it depends on the child how much freedom you can trust them with.

Good one, I agree, it all depends on the child. Back in the old days, I could ride my bike all over. Of course by the time my kids came along I wouldn’t let them out of sight 🙂

Geez shore neighbors, let the man have some fun. He won’t make it back to the shore for along time. I don’t think his “college” has beach views.

Something doesn’t sound right. If the house is truly on the auction block for today, then it should have one of those realtor locks on it so you can’t get in. They would not allow the homeowner to come and go as they please once the house is in foreclosure.

You have time even after auction to remove personal items from the home. Sometimes people are still living in their home when it goes to auction. You have time to vacate.

Yep. All over the news up here in DYT. I actually considered going down the shore this past weekend and didn’t. My bff is from Toms River/Seaside Heights and her family is down there. It’s only a 2/12 hr drive from my house. If you get up early and get down there by 7 am it’s a full day of fun in the sun. Kinda sorry I missed all the ruckus. I’ve been going to the Jersey Shore my whole life and even when I was a teen my parents let me go to the beach with friends. It was actually a right of passage graduating high school up here and also prom. My senior year my graduating class rented out a bunch of the hotels in Seaside one block from the boardwalk. The 80’s. Good times /sigh

YES!!! “Senior Week” at the Shore! I’m about 90 minutes (if that) from the Jersey Shore. It was always a fun time 🙂 . My parents had a place on the upper shore of the Chesapeake Bay – another fun spot! **SIGH** the good ole days. 🙂

Bids starting at a $100! Wowzers.
Knowing that the bids will sky rockets, it’s still nice to dream of potentially owning a beach house for $101.

If I remember correctly from my days at customer service at a bank, the mortgage holder (all 3 in this case) will use a foreclosure company that sends a rep to the auction. If the bidding does not get up to the amount of the owed balance of the mortgage the rep will bid for the mortgage company. The mortgage company (usually the first lien holder because their loan is usually the highest) will become the recorded owner of the home. The mortgage company then uses that foreclosure company to take possession of the house, fix whatever damage there is, and then they use a realtor and put it for sale in the market and they try to sell the home for at least what the mortgage balance was plus any costs from the foreclosure company. I think of these auction steps foreclosures almost as scams because most of the time the home as at least one mortgage and the bank will usually want a chance of ownership and sale of at least current market price. These homes are almost always trashed by the previous owner who is mad they are losing the home. They take all their belongings including things you wouldn’t take-doors, cabinets, windows, carpet, sinks…The home is 99% of the time a striped out shell with trash and feces inside. I would bet money that is what the Guidices home looks like right now which could have been the whole reason for the “party.”

Wow! Thanks, BeetsWhy. Even with that long paragraph I wrote I still kind of thought a tre hugger might try to bid to “help” her or to be able to live where someone “famous” lived. I can’t wait for the pictures after the mortg co lists it to see what they change.

Who the heck drove him and girls there ? And furthermore if a house is up for auction in the next two days, why would he still have access to it ? A party ? Seriously ?
