Here is the official Bravo public relations release for the upcoming reunion. Is it just me or does it sound not that interesting?
The defining, three-part New York City reunion begins Tuesday, August 18 at 9PM, with some conflicting accounts of how the ladies reacted to the return of Bethenny. Fortunately, as they take a look back at her outbursts from the season, Bethenny is able to reflect on how she handled herself with the new women this season. As the ladies remember their Atlantic City adventures, tensions resurface as Heather is unforgiving about being left in Sonja’s foyer. However, it’s Sonja who is on high defense as the women once again take issue with her partying ways. Then, from boyfriends to girl codes, the royal rumble continues between Luann and Carole.
During Part II, Tuesday, August 25 at 8PM, Luann and Carole attempt to work through their unresolved issues. Then, it’s all about the newest Housewife, Dorinda, including her touchy-feely boyfriend and her unpredictable temper. Right from the start, temperatures reach boiling levels as both Kristen and Heather rehash their fiery conflicts with Dorinda. Eventually the fun gets going when all of the single ladies talk men, dating and life as cougars. The “New Ramona” extends an apology to Andy for her behavior on last year’s reunion and reveals heartbreaking details about her marriage. However, between stolen dresses and false accusations, the rest of the women still question if she is a new Ramona.
On the final installment of the reunion, airing Thursday, August 27 at 9PM, Sonja is once again on the defense as all of the ladies question her business sense and the facts surrounding her international lifestyle brand. Heather and Bethenny voice the loudest concerns about how her clothing line is unfolding. Things get emotional when Carole and Dorinda discuss the common bond of widowhood that continues to link the two together. Then, it’s one final trip down memory lane as the women look back at the Turks and Caicos trip – the cock-blocks, skinny-dipping and naked men.
Following the three-part reunion, the network will air a “Secrets Revealed” special on Thursday, September 3 at 9PM ET/PT with never-before-seen footage from season seven. Don’t miss candid, exclusive, lovable scenes from your favorite ladies of the Big Apple.
I can see now how Ramona fell asleep. 🙂
I am excited. I don’t need a bullhorn, physical assault or a rehab video for a reunion to be interesting to me.
Thank you. I couldn’t agree more. I don’t mind a weekly heated argument or three among the women, but you can keep the hatred and vitriol of most of these reunions.
When the women are at the point that they refuse to film together and are obsessed with trashing each other to the media and viewers, it is time for a full recast.
I liked this season of NY. I have watched them for the past 2 seasons cause they got boring to me. Bethany returning got me back onboard. I think she delivered just enough. She was funny, Ramona and Sonja were crazy, and Luanne was in heat. I like that the season was more related to the women’s new ventures and reinventing their lives after all their adversities, then serious fighting. That being said a 3 part reunion could not have that much interesting content.
I actually liked it too. Crazy at times but they just didn’t seem as nasty as some of the HW’s get. Even if they are upset they work it out and have fun. I liked all the ladies, I can’t really say I would want anyone gone. It’s ok if some don’t have a big storyline right now because other issues from others were at the forefront. At least I don’t cringe over any of the scenes like I do with Meghan’s or Porsha, or feel so sad like with Kim. So, all in all, for the Housewives not bad N.Y.
I’m soooooooooooooooooo over RaMOANa-she hasn’t changed one iota, EXCEPT she’s extremely better at lying to get other HW to trust her when she has her ‘trustful, sympathetic’ hat on…then she can barely wait to betray them.
I wish the season wasn’t so short. Ethernet made it interesting for me again. I’m not sure any of the shows need a three part reunion, but I’m on board.
Ethernet? Umm that was Bethenney.
I love auto-correct!!
Hee-hee! That Autocorrect Bitch got me a little while ago…Zoila = Soils!
Dear autocorrect: never once have I meant to say ducking.
The less Sonja the better. She seems delusional and I don’t enjoy watching someone who just doesn’t seem mentally well. It’s not funny or entertaining.
I find the reunions so frustrating, as nothing is ever settled or resolved, and it’s just three weeks of arguing and screaming (usually over each other at the same time). Of course I’ll watch every last minute though.
As usual, ericzku says it so much better than I ever could!
ITA. Reunion, by its common understanding to those who have had one, (or more!) simply means getting together, reminising, speaking of the future. It doesn’t mean the prerequisite is mud slinging and the common Bravo bitch fighting. I would prefer a more civilized recap. Ahh, but a girl can dream …
I think back to the three part reunion for season four of RHONY. It consisted of Luann, Jill and Kelly on one couch and Sonja, Ramona and Alex on the other. They all talked over each other. No one was able to finish a thought. Andy spent the whole time begging them to shut up and saying “let her speak”. Poor Cindy barshop? Kept getting out of her chair because she couldn’t handle the interruptions. Next season, everyone was replaced.
I liked this season also. I just find Sonja’s story lines very boring. The reunion sounds very boring.
Wow! Was that lobby fiasco this season? It seemed like a hundred years ago.
What a relief it was not to have Aviva present…it was like someone removed a festering splinter.
Aww. Rethinking…let em be. These ladies need a healthy sex life too. Men blink everyone all the time. Everyone is in heat at one time or another…Lol.IFinding you!….and me…C’est la vie…Whaddayagonnado?!
Aww. Rethinking…let em be. These ladies need a healthy sex life too. Men blink everyone all the time. Everyone is in heat at one time or another…Lol.Including! You ….and me…C’est la vie…Whaddayagonnado?!
Will a cartoon version be available? Going back to the other post to tickle my funny bone again.
I, of course, loved the season. I am even considering watching the damn Secret Revealed episode, even though we all know that no secrets are actually revealed and its just leftover purple clown argle blargle.
I’m in dude. We can reminisce together about the lack of secrets revealed and the extra scenes of:
* B crying,
* Ramona ‘renewing’,
* Sonja drinking whilst drooling over young 20 something gay men.
I think you just about nailed it Michael, at least the, “good parts”.
I’ll be watching but these reunions always offer more questions for me than the normal season. They fuss and argue but thankfully don’t bring the rachet like RHOA. I really hope Sonja doesn’t return…she needs to pull herself together. ..I feel so bad for her daughter.
