Just waking up (again) to recap. This is going to be a fast and furious double eviction hour where anything can happen. Vanessa and Shelli are on the block and the plan has changed so many times, I finally just quit worrying about it and will find out who is going home live.
I hate the way Becky speaks. Is it just the Colorado accent? The cadence? The smugness? But even more annoying is Vanessa’s tireless conviction that everyone must do her bidding. She demands Becky explain how she dared to put her up for eviction. She is furious with Steve for looking out for his own game. She is crying to everyone. Finally, she tells James that Becky was the mole between the ADC and Sixth Sense last week. Though Vanessa fails to mention sixth sense and her own role in everything.
The First Eviction
Shelli wishes Jason a happy birthday. I’m pretty sure he hates her. Vanessa gave a speech from her journal from ten years ago when she was in law school about life being about the journey and not the destination. She’s so smart and original. UGH. Well it looks like it’s going to be Shelli going home. I only hope Vanessa follows her right out the door. Somehow, after a million back and forth decisions, Shelli is unanimously voted out of the house against Becky’s wishes.
Shelli blames Vanessa and James for her eviction. Shelli doesn’t regret her showmance with Clay. Julie asks her if she loves him. Shelli said that was too quick to know they have not be together in the real world. Shelli is hoping to come back into the house and ally with Steve and Johnny Mac. Julie points out they were not even in her alliance. Shelli doesn’t care. I don’t either. I doubt we will see her in the house again.
The First HOH
The houseguests were shown sixteen video shorts to memorize for the HOH comp. It’s time for a quick Q & A called getting loopy. It’s true or false. They have all been studying like crazy. This could take a while. ALL of ADC including Becky was out on the second question. It’s down to Steve, John or Austin. STEVE WINS! Bye, bye Becky! Usually, during this commercial break everyone descends on the HOH and tells him who they want up. Steve already knows who he is putting up. I know he wants Becky out, but I forget who the pawn is. Maybe Austin? John will not like it if he puts Becky up, so he may falter. I honestly don’t know with this crew from one minute to the next. Did Vanessa throw it? It looks like they did all talk to Steve quickly during the break.
OMG! He put up Meg and Jackie! I hope Becky is the backdoor and he gets to us it! I can’t believe he didn’t split he twins in the double eviction. Hurry up commercial!
Power of Veto
John, James and Vanessa were pulled to play in Veto with Steve, Meg and Jackie. It’s kind of a lucky shot game. They have to roll a ball into three holes in numerical order. If they drop a ball out of order they are automatically eliminated. Did they get to practice this at all? This is a hard veto comp for such a short time. Steve had some sort of malfunction with his board and can’t get his next ball to roll. JOHN WINS! James and Meg were so close! UGH. John would not want Becky to go home so if he knows what Steve’s plan is, he might not use it. John and Steve talk and reach some sort of agreement. John and Steve are no longer sandbagging in this game and it looks like they will both go all out on comps from now on.
I’m awake now!
JMac DOES NOT use the POV. So that is the end of the ADC. Dammit! Steve is very flustered. The girls want an explanation. Steve walks off and says he can’t speak coherently right now. He says he needs a minute. Meg says she doesn’t really think they have a minute. I love Meg, but I want Jackie to stay. She is a fighter.
Vote to Evict
Meg is crying. She seems to think she is staying but is worried. Jackie is talking about coming back. She says something was a miscommunication. It looks like Jackie was told she was going during the break. Everyone votes out Jackie except Becky who votes to evict Meg.
This is awful. Jackie makes a super classy exit. Is it me or did she get a bigger response than Shelli from the audience? Jackie says the miscommunication was that Steve was told at the last minute he was her back door when she was HOH, but it was not true. It was Austin.
We should have an HOH game tonight on the live feeds. I think. This will be an awkward night.
