TMZ is reporting that the lawyer for Bobbi Kristina’s estate has filed new documents that outline in extreme detail how they allege that Nick Gordon is responsible for Bobbi Kristina’s death. I’m going to purple pen this because all of these details seem very odd to me. Did they just get all of this information? If not why didn’t they include it in the original motion?
“The lawyer says at 6 AM on January 31st — hours before Bobbi Kristina was found face down in the tub — Nick Gordon came home from an all-night cocaine and alcohol bender. The suit claims he reviewed camera footage and became irate. The suit says Gordon began screaming at Bobbi Kristina, accusing her of cheating and calling her a “whore and bitch.”
If there was security footage that shows off of this, why haven’t the police already arrested Nick? Who else was in the house with Krissi and why hasn’t that person come forward?
“Their argument then went from room to room, and at some point the suit claims Gordon gave Bobbi Kristina a “toxic cocktail” that rendered her unconscious.”
What about the toxicology reports? Is there one that show that she had this “toxic cocktail” in her system? How do they know the argument went from room to room? Do they have a witness? Security footage? If they have footage, wouldn’t they have had that six months ago?
“The lawyer then says Gordon dragged Bobbi Kristina to the bathroom where he placed her face down in a tub filled with cold water. “
Is this is coming from a witness, wouldn’t the witness be an accomplice especially if they are just now coming forward? How do they know the water was cold? Am I the only one who finds these details odd?
“According to the docs, Gordon got in bed, put his head on a female guest’s ankle and said, “Now I want a pretty little white girl like you.”
Where did this female come from? Did he come home with Nick at 6 am and crawl into his bed while he took a few minutes to murder his girlfriend before getting in bed with her ? Did she not hear the arguing or the struggle?
“Fifteen minutes later the suit says another person (presumably Max Lomas) discovered Bobbi Kristina in the tub. The suit also says when Bobbi Kristina was pulled from the tub, one of her teeth was hanging loosely from her mouth, indicating she had been injured.”
Doesn’t fifteen minutes later sound like information from a surveillance camera? I suppose it could be someone estimating, but if the informant is Max Lomas wouldn’t he have to say he went into the bathroom fifteen minutes after Nick put her in the tub of cold water face down?
“And this is odd … the suit says authorities found a dust pan at the bottom of the tub.”
Yes, a dustpan in the bottom of the tub is odd. It’s all very, very odd. I wonder if we will ever know what really happened.
This whole thing gets more bizarre by the day. So many questions. Hopefully if 2CanPlay has time, between TT and 2Can, you two can break it down for us. I appreciate your efforts through all the twists and turns.
Glad to see you TT <3
I’d say they were getting their information from Sylvia Browne, but sadly she’s gone too. It’s so weird that all of this information came out after Bobbi is in the ground. I suppose anything is possible, but if they had hard proof Nick would have been arrested long ago.
@JJ – I don’t necessarily think so, because until Krissi actually passed, it wouldn’t have been a criminal homicide charge? I’m no expert in that area at all, just speculation. But it does appear there’s a lot of info that was withheld, which is not abnormal in these types of cases. The authorities don’t put all their cards on the table for lots of reasons. I’m eternally grateful that BK is out of this clusterf**k.
I’m not sure, you think they would have been able to charge him with something though as they can always elevate the charges later on. It’s hard to know what happened and who to believe as they all come across as being shady.
I think someone at TMZ is a frustrated screenwriter. This seems like a page ripped from a 100% fictionalized made-for-Lifetime-movie version of the story, complete with implausible plot twists and purple dialogue. (I mean, “Now I want a pretty little white girl like you”? Who talks like that? Nobody!)
Things must be slow in the Thirty Mile Zone today.
@ericzku — LMAO at your post! It does sound like a B movie script.
… and “put his head on a female guest’s ankle” sounds like it came from a script. If this is true, how did the lawyer get his/her hands on it, why has he not been arrested, what does the DA have to say about all of this?
I thought the same thing, this narrative sounds like a mix between pulp fiction and purple prose; no offense in referencing the color purple. Either way, it does not make a whole lot of sense to me because it reads like the information is coming from a number of different sources, none of whom are specifically named.
That quote is what set off the loudest alarm bells for me. I mean….what?!
I thought the coroner said she had been in a coma too long for a toxicology report?
I don’t know if any of this is true, but reading this has me feeling really icky. Whatever happened, it makes me really sad thinking about the last hours and minutes of her conscious life.
.
I’m sure they did a toxicology screen as soon as she got to the hospital. How else would they know about her having a “toxic cocktail” before she went into the tub.
So horrible. Thanks for the purple pen, TT.
I read the Amended Complaint to the civil action filed by the administrator for the estate of Bobbi K. It contains 9 counts with 58 substantive details and is an attempt to bring about a criminal set of charges against Nick Gordon. The demand for trial by jury in this civil case requires that the defendant answer publicly. Meanwhile, attorneys for Nick, including Jose Baez , have responded that the Amended Complaint is slanderous and without merit. So much pain, guilt and blame, understandably, but it feels to me like too little, too late. Heaven help us all on this giant, whirling school of a world… time to eat a little chocolate.
I might have misunderstood but if the District Attorney is not prosecuting or bringing charges against Nick then the evidence is not there. The family must be upset at this.
Im thinking the family is wanting Nick to be held responsible and this why this lawyer is doing this. It’s not being done for money.
They might be trying to force the DA to handle this.
Is this possible?
NeverBeenJaxed – thanks for the shout out 🙂 …. yes this real world stuff is continuing to consume my time at the moment :-).
@calipatti I believe that the DA is on record conveying that they are STILL investigating. I also believe that the DA is pleased that the family is bringing the lawsuit, as it will force Nick to sit for a deposition that MAY help the DA (with respect to what Nick has to say or should I say slips up and says – under a hostile questioning environment.)
Furthermore, the reason the family is bringing the suit is to force the hand of NICK – they want him on RECORD with his version of events.
In addition at this juncture the DA can comfortably respond that at this juncture they are not CURRENTLY planning on bringing charges but that it is an ongoing investigation. The aforementioned will be used to mitigate that claim by Nick that he has to take the 5th because criminal charges are pending – ultimately that will be up to a judge to decide.
@Tamara –
I concur with @Amy that they likely did a toxicology upon her arrival at the hospital – if for no other reason, per the urging of family members – given the known history of BK and drugs.
There were reports early on that Max and a female – he previously dated were both in the house. I think BK also briefly dated Max prior to Nick and before the death of WH. So it sounds like they believed in keeping it local when it came to dating :-). I believe the Mother of the female did several interviews.
I think that Max reported the water as being cold given that he is the one claiming to have pulled her from the water and given that he indicated he pulled her out within 15 minutes, if the bath water was warm to begin with it will not be cold in the timeframe, perhaps lukewarm but not ice cold and I think it was likely very cold for him to categorize it as being cold instead of saying it was lukewarm. ,
As far as the dustpan, I am presuming that her face ended up in the dustpan as part of the assault and/or to preclude blood from the facial injuries and injuries to her tooth from spilling out on the floor as she was being transported to the bathtub.
2CanPlay, thank you. What you wrote in detail is what I was thinking.
With this lawsuit, information will possibly come out that the district attorney will be able to use.
OOOOH that using the dustpan to keep the blood from leaving a trail on the floor makes sense. In one of the previous versions of the story it was said that there was some blood cleaned up before 911 was called…

Like you I read the interview of the mother of the female witness. She said BK would not have gotten into a bath of cold water. I had read that there were security cameras in the home and the DA was trying to get them. BK’s last selfie picture had her with another man hours before she drowned.
@calipatti – You are welcome. Good to know our mindsets concurred with respect to the lawsuit :-).
@Tamara – Yeah that is the only thing that I can think of with respect to using a dustpan. Time will tell though …well perhaps it will :-). Personally I would not be surprised if Nick ended up dead of an O.D. before he is even charged or called upon to give testimony via a deposition.
@Dee I read that as well. Initially Nick was fighting it based on privacy grounds. However, he ultimately acquiesced and gave permission for the video camera footage to be released.
@Can what video footage are you talking about? Nick would not have control of the security footage at the condo, Pat would. Nick was sort of an unwanted longterm houseguest in the property owned by Whitney’s estate…

2canplay, nice to see you, hope all OK with you.
@Dee Thanks for the shout out! Good to see you as well 🙂 …yes everything is o.k. just busy :-). I trust all is well with you 🙂
So I wonder then if there was blood in the bathwater?
Tamara, the security camera survellance account was in Nick Gordon’s name. He initially was fighting the supoena of the company for the footage.
Oh P.S. _ TT you are the bomb.
Thank you.
Your purple pen makes me think and laugh!
I second Calipatti, thank you Tamara. I appreciate 🙂
Don’t judge me, but I have a subscription to a rag mag I call bathroom reading. It has all these details verbatim, from the little white girl now comment, the dustpan, all this new info. I purple penned it in my head as I read it. I will read again for sources named specifically…but it seems TMZ is breaking an already issued story from a week ago.
Barbinga, no judgement here 🙂
@Tamara – my last comment is still awaiting moderation from last night/early am hours today 🙂 – I suspect it is because of the link to the AJC article :-). Please note: I only posted the link because you ask the question and you post links to AJC from your website. No worries it is not a pattern with respect to my future comments 🙂
However, In case others are wondering the answer to the question you posed to me, I am posting the comment again without the link.
Nick had the contract for the home security video service from dropcam in his name. Hence he was the person who had to authorize the release of the footage. The company that makes dropcam is called Nest Labs.
Ultimately Nick dropped his resistance to release the footage.
The AJC reported on this story Feb 25th,2015 – It basically conveyed the following:
The petition for a TRO was filed Monday by Gordon’s attorney “to protect his interests. However Mr. Gordon has since elected to dismiss the claim in an effort to help Roswell PD speed up their investigation. ”
“Plaintiff, Nicholas Gordon, is a customer of Nest Labs, (which) owns and operates a ‘dropcam’ web-based security company.
“On February 12, 2015, Nest notified via email its customer, Nicholas Gordon …that it had received ‘legal process’ for data and documents related to the account and that it intended to comply.”
The issue is an unjust breach of privacy, the documents say:
“Privacy, in the context of stored information includes the right to control how stored information is communicated and prevent its abuse. lt is more than just confidentiality of data. The Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution implicitly governs in its very core that Americans have a reasonable expectation of privacy which inherently extends to the right to control their own data and access thereto.”
Documents go on to say “there is an insufficient link between the crime alleged in the Search Warrant, specifically ‘possession of a controlled substance.’”
But again – in the end Nick agreed to withdraw his petition and permit the police to have access to the footage.
I always feel that Nick, like Bobbi Kris, was a victim, too. Maybe he chose the life, but sparkly things look so pretty and Whitney was always sparkly. Someone said in a comment above that they would not be surprised if he died and I wouldn’t either. He was a mess on Dr. Phil, and that is being very generous. I can still hear him telling Phil that he was a star like him. Um, no, you are a hanger on, Nick while Dr. Phil has worked hard to be where he is.
