Battle of the Block: Give Me Props
Shelli is walking on clouds (with her nose in the air) that she won Head of Household. Becky is hoping winning with Shelli will lead to an alliance. Clay is smugly staring down Day. He knows he is the real HoH and he clearly wants Day out.
Meanwhile, Audrey goes to everyone claiming that Vanessa tried to start an all-girls alliance. Then she goes to Vanessa and tells her that the whole house is talking about how Vanessa tried to start an all-girls alliance. Because, Audrey. Then she tells Vanessa that Day started the rumor. Vanessa freaks out but because she’s an adult, she gets Day and Audrey together to find out what’s really going on. Day denies starting the rumor but Audrey continues her lie. “I told her what came out of your mouth.” Day isn’t taking this lying down and she calls a house meeting with James, Jeff, Meg, Clay, Shelli and Jason. Everyone tells Vanessa that Audrey started the rumor. Audrey claims that they’re all lying to cover for Day. They all leave in disgust. Later, Audrey tells the camera, “well, that could have been much worse.” Really?
Everyone goes to check out HoH room. Clay admires Shelli’s baby pictures. Ugh to their showmance. The girls read their letters from home. Blah, blah, blah, we love you. Blah, blah, blah, you’re awesome. Becky cries. Shelli fake cries. Finally, Becky and Shelli start to plot. Becky brings up Audrey as the house target. Becky wants to put up four pawns so they can backdoor Audrey. Shelli agrees with everything but she has her own plan in mind. While Becky is running around the house telling people they might be pawns in the Great Audrey Backdoor of ‘15, Clay, Jeff and Shelli start working on a plan to get rid of Day. They want someone to throw the Battle of the Block. Clay tells Shelli to put him up but she absolutely won’t. She’s holding on to that D with everything she’s got. They decide on Dr John and browbeat him into agreeing. Later, he admits to us that he hasn’t made his mind up yet.
Shelli tries to look serious but she’s can’t lose that shit-eating grin. She nominates Dr John and Day. She says it’s because Day doesn’t trust her and she wishes good luck to both. Becky nominates Jason and Steve. She tells Jason, “You put me on block the first week and wished me luck so I’m wishing you that same luck.” Becky thinks the Backdoor Audrey plan is in effect. She doesn’t realize that Shelli went rogue. Day and Jason, on the other hand, realize they’re the targets this week. Shelli is coming for them hard.
Battle of the Block Competition
Audrey calls the houseguests to the set of “Ginger Fever” for the Battle of the Block Competition “Give Me Props.” The set has a Dr’s office and a bedroom full of props. There are tons of cameras ready to shoot the scene. Audrey explains that the BoB contestants will be shooting scenes for “Ginger Fever.” They get a director’s shot list that tells them which props need to be in which shot but they don’t know which camera is related to which shot. In order to win, they must find out which camera goes to which shot and then point it at the prop listed on the director’s shot list. Whoever gets the correct items shot by the correct cameras in the correct order wins. In addition, Kathy Griffin wants them to bond so she sent over special uniforms: a two-person tshirt which adds a three-legged race aspect to the competition.
The shot list starts scrolling and it’s going pretty fast. Jason and Steve decide to check which shots are which, two cameras at a time. They get lucky and the first two they pick are 1 and 2. They find the props they need to shoot and move on to the next two cameras. Dr John still doesn’t know if he’s going to throw the competition. Day decides they should turn on all of the cameras and then figure out which shots they’re associated with. Dr John quickly realizes what a bad strategy it is but lets Day “throw the competition for him.” Jason and Steve are cruising around, finding their cameras and shooting their props. Day and Dr John are bumbling around, getting nowhere fast. By the time they get their first two shots, Jason and Steve already have seven of the nine completed. Day quickly picks up that Dr John isn’t helping and she’s basically dragging him around. She tries to pick up the pace but it’s too late. Jason and Steve hit the buzzer and win the Battle of the Block. Since Becky’s nominees won the BoB, she loses power and gets covered in powder. Becky is fine with that because she thinks Audrey is getting backdoored. Shelli, on the other hand, is strutting around like an HoH peacock.
