Yesterday, Claudia Jordan was in a six car pile up on Interstate 20 ! Claudia says she was a passenger in the black vehicle above when they were struck from behind. The two cars in front collided and caused a chain reaction. While the driver of the truck Claudia was in managed to avoid hitting anyone the person behind the SLAMMED into Claudia’s vehicle. A second car slammed into the car that rearended Claudia. The truck was towed and Claudia and her driver were both taken to the hospital. Claudia reports she is suffering from whiplash.
Claudia is grateful that she and her driver were both able to walk away from the incident and the injuries were not any worse.
I am glad she is in pretty good shape. I hope she doesn’t have lasting pain. Thanks for this info, TT.
Oh my God. Poor Claudia!
Scary. People are crazy out there!
This is every day in Atlanta, it’s hot, everyone is in a rush…I20, 285, God forbid you have to travel on 400! It’s insane! Thanks Tamara!
I haven’t heard the term ‘whiplash’, since before head rests became mandatory – to prevent that very thing. My first/only time in Atlanta (2000), my son was driving, we were on the highway, at rush hour, and there was a truck with what I’d call gates, open on either side of it. It was to bring down the speed of everyone driving behind it. TT – is that used in the case of an accident up ahead, and do they still use it? Is Spaghetti Junction still the same? Thanks!
Imo, Atl interstates are scary even when you KNOW where you are going and what you are doing. God forbid you are an out of towner and not familiar with local driving habits, you will almost be eaten alive (drive-wise). I’ve driven there many times (because it’s my hometown) and I am always amazed at the break neck speed and non driver courtesy on 75 and 285. When I come in on 75 south, I just hold my breath and hang in there with the locals til I reach my destination….then I collapse lol. I hope Claudia and her friends will be fine.
Hope you’re ok, Claudia (in case you’re still reading here)!
I am glad that she is ok. Now that she’s been fired she can concentrate on her radio job and will have those opportunities she talked about before. “Bless your heart”!
It’s a bit too early to call her our for sure. Last season at this time she was an FOH and the next thing you know she had a peach and Demetria didn’t. I don’t think Phaedra or Claudia know for sure. Just yet.

Hope springs eternal in the human breast. Ironically, I never thought of you as the type. But as you said ANYTHING is possible.
I’m glad she was able to walk away and hope she recovers soon.
