EXCLUSIVE: Here is the Tea on the “Younger Actress” Testing for RHOA, Drew, Sidora!

tea-for-life-2

This is a TamaraTattles exclusively sourced story. Please excerpt and link appropriately. I’ve heard that people who steal other people’s work often find themselves suffering from itchy, wet anuses that they can never scratch because the are also perpetually in public. Karma can sometimes be very swift when it comes to intellectual property theft. And I kind love going to court and have the miles to fly anywhere. Make the right choice.

I’ve been working to get you all the tea on who the “younger actress” was who is testing for RHOA with three other hopefuls.  As I told you here, there are four ladies currently testing for RHOA.  Kim Fields, Lena Chenier, a dancer named Tammy and now I know the name of the fourth person. It’s really not the best time to post this super hot tea, but Tamara’s tea comes when it comes and I am dying to hear what y’all think.

It’s Drew Sidora. And I think she will be GREAT! She’s another serious actress who will make Nene’s head explode. Drew looks like she does not play!

From Wikipedia,…Drew Sidora Jordan (born May 1, 1985), better known by her stage name Drew Sidora, is an American actress and singer known for her recurring role as Chantel in the Disney Channel Original Series That’s So Raven, also as Lucy Avila in the 2006 movie Step Up and starred as Tionne Watkins in the VH1 TLC biographical film CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. She is also known for portraying a fictionalized version of herself on the BET comedy-drama television series The Game.

Hmmm. I don’t know. I don’t think the formula of taking “real” actresses and placing them on “reality shows” is gonna work with this group. Part of what made RHOA originally pop is that these girls had more coin than most, but were enjoyable because they were relateable, yet slightly hood rich. It’s like when they threw Claudia and Kenya on: neither had a tie to the city or the women and was randomly tacked on, which showed in the chemistry. It dramatically through the energy off. Like, who cares about any of these women’s lives. Sure, she was cute in the TLC movie, but do I really want to see her on Kim Fields faking scenes on RHOA every wee for 22 weeks?? MEH

The only two people would had any coin at all on season one were Kim and Kandi. Nene was broke as a joke. Ditto Sheree. Ms. Snow had some cash too. Lisa Wu not much. None of them are Atlanta wealth.

They could have made the Atlanta franchise look like a southern version of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but they instead made the cast season 1, revolve around football/basketball wives (Sheree, DeShawn, Lisa Wu) and tacked on Nene and Kim. They were all either NEW MONEY or people flossing like they had money.

In fact season 1, NOT ONE Atlanta Housewife actually lived in Atlanta. They all lived in far out burbs like Duluth, Johns Creek, etc. There is nothing wrong with featuring women that live there, but at least include women that LIVE in the city the show revolves around.

It’s like casting all of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and not have any that actually live in Beverly Hills, and in the far out burbs like Brandi does.

Claudia is a co host of a nationally syndicated radio show that is based in Atlanta. That is her connection to the city. Legit connection.

Personally, I think they need to scrap the idea of an all black cast and cast some white women on the show. And while they are at it, they need to cast some black women on Beverly Hills, OC, New York, and Jersey.

I hate the segregated casts. There are rich white women in Atlanta, and Rich black women in Beverly Hills, OC, NYC and NJ.

I concur. Excellent points. I feel these segregated cast reflect poorly on Bravo. I have always felt this way. Thanks for speaking up.The only show where there was a mixed cast was Atl…I guess because they could not have a all black cast until Nene pointed that out 1 season.

DC was mixed, but then who watched DC Housewives. I agree with the fact that they need to make it less segregated. However the reality is that Atlanta is very segregated. I’ve lived in many other states growing up. Now that I’m in atlanta, this is the first time my family has no close family friends of other races. I think if they keep it all black it might benefit them to get women from other countries. They would probably have an easier time finding rich wives that way. Those Nigerian women stay wedded up and clearly many of those families have money.

I mystified by Claudia’s situation. She brought it first season. She was responsible for Puerto ReadOs high ratings because people read here that she read Nene for filth.

The only reason they are getting rid of her is because she is single. But she has a boyfriend. It would not surprise me if Kenya doesn’t make it through to the end this season. They want actual wives now for some damn reason.

I’m wondering if maybe it was Cladia’s decision not to come back. She may have to much other stuff going on and didn’t want to deal with the drama of Nene. I like Kim being an addition she is very spicy in real life and I don’t think she’ll put up with much bull. I’ve watched Drew in TLC story and That’s so Raven. She’s pretty good. I don’t think she’s one to let Nene to walk over her either.

Drew should be interesting. Not only is she a working actress who has filmed a lot in ATL (so she should know a lot of people there) but I heard that her family situation is dramatic. She has kids with the guy she’s with, not sure if they’re married, and he has “questionable” employment. This is all hearsay but supposedly it’s enough for tongues to be wagging about it and should make for good tv.

I just wanna know what the connection the the current ladies are. You can give us some great housewives (see Carlton/Joyce), but if they don’t have any long-ish ties with current housewives, it seems ridiculous.

Even with the issues Marlo had with casting, I’d rather see her on considering she DOES have ties with Kenya and Nene. Same goes for RHOBH and how they should have cast Faye Resnick. I’m just sick of the inauthentic relationships.

NY has done it right since their huge recast in bringing people on that actually have ties with the others (Dorinda and Kristen and Bethenny).

She was just as hypocritical as everyone else, but it went too far when she wanted to actually went after Porsha’s job. Kenya is the main reason my entire family & friends are watching. Bravo can turn this husband/family thing to any angle but keep kenya because some women will rather be single than have Nene & Grey relationship of “boss lady & servant.”

Exactly most of the other franchises have women with money, connections, etc but Atlanta all bravo wants the woman to do is sit around and throw shade at each other all day. Get women on the show who has things going on as we saw with the RHOC premiere, all the woman had things going on and weren’t just whining about each other. At least give us Lena, Kim Fields and Drew just so we can have some new blood and a new overall show.

The reason shows like Basketball Wives, Love and HipHop, and Bad Girls Club are so boring is that EVERYONE in the cast is constantly in attack mode, ratcheted up to eleven. When you default setting is “que barbaro,” you becomes a caricature instead if a character, and the audience no longer relates to you and view you as a spectacle rather than a person.

What I’m waiting for with Cynthia is for her to stand up to her husband’s male chauvinism. Not in a way that kills the relationship, but one that makes it strong. That would make a great storyline.

If she wanted a submissive husband, she would not have married a Jamaican. He’s actually a MALE, it’s a rare thing these days so I see how many people can be mystified. They are all but extinct in the US.

Too borderline Christian husband bullshit to me really TT. He’s like a 60’s era retread with retrograde ideas about male/female gender roles. Watching her when he pulls that shit on camera you can see she’s not exactly all that comfortable with it all too frequently. Whether it’s because she knows that’s not going to play well on TV I don’t know, but you can see it in her eyes frequently enough.

I’m pretty sure Cynthia was aware of Peter’s personality when she married him. There are still women in the world, believe it or not, in this time of transsexuals, transgenders, female dominatrix (what is the plural of dominatrix?) and acceptance of everyone, it seems that traditional men in traditional gender roles are the last remaining group that can be badmouthed. Oh and Christian men.

I hear you TT. As a Latin guy, former Catholic, I get that there are plenty of women who choose to subjugate themselves to their marriage/husbands based on whatever reason, among latin catholic women it’s all too frequently based on religious ideas of what the wife’s role in a marriage should be. Michelle Duggar anyone? Speaking from my military background there are a ton of guys who actively seek out women willing to accept a submissive (actually more like subservient) role in a relationship. I suppose there’s nothing wrong with that if a woman chooses it, but I question the motives of men looking for such a woman. I have close family that have chosen that role. It’s not something I care to see. I think Peter is entertaining, and I like him, I just generally don’t like how he acts with his wife sometimes, a lot actually.

Thank you. My spell check was all befuddled and Eric yells when you use the possessive wrong. 🙁

It’s just a fun word to say. Dominatrices. And how often can you use it in a sentence? and what is the Collective Name for a group of them?
You know, like a Pride of Lions or a Murder of Crows.
I decided awhile back that a group of lesbians is called a Lique.
        But I digress…

X, you are one of the most intellectual men I know. And isn’t it a dungeon of Dominatrices?

I hope Claudia makes it back. I hope she didn’t hurt her chances by “staying completely quiet” during one of the reunion shows. Did they have her mic on? I also hope NeNe’s suggestion of having only Married RHOA ladies on the show didn’t influence the producers. Somebody may actually be listening to that broad! Ughhhh.

The married idea started with production. Nene just likes to claim things are her idea. Because people believe it.

I remember Drew Sidora from The Game and White Chicks. What a wonderful addition. I am a fan.

I hope Drew makes the cut. It would be nice to see a young smart person on the show instead of someone who wears the title of “Thot” like it’s a crown. I think Claudia doesn’t want to come back. Watching this show for all those episodes was tiring, so imagine dealing with that cast. I would like to see her return but I would also watch a show of just her and Kenya acting goofy in ATL. Kind of like Tiny and Shekinah’s weave trip show but not completely ratchet and without subtitles.
