Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Part 3 Recap: Mother’s Day Special

May 10, 2015 by tamaratattles 277 Comments

RHOA Reunion all

Okay, it’s finally time for part three of the RHOA. If you missed the other recaps you can catch them here.  Just in time for Mother’s Day, Nene is going to decide she has issues with her mother abandoning her for the first time.

Nene and Peter

Nene begins screaming at top of her lungs that she never flirted with Peter. SCREAMING her lies as if that would make them true. Peter says that he and Nene have similar personalities just like Kenya and Apollo do.  Um what? The Peter says that everyone owes Kenya an apology for calling her a whore for all these seasons.  Peter says that he a Nene did not flirt. Peter says that Porsha has a reckless mouth saying he is cheating on his wife. He says if he is going to cheat on his wife, he is going to go hit something big, like J-Lo not waitresses.  Oh well if I was Cynthia, I’d feel so much better. WTF. Peter?

Kandi and Todd

Time for more about Kandi’s marriage. Andy asks when the last time they had sex was. Two nights ago. Todd says the baby will happen soon.  Andy gives condolences about Todd’s mother, Sharon dying. He tells the story of how he found out. He sent a neighbor in to check on her and she had a stroke. Gregg spoke at Todd’s mother’s funeral. Why? And Peter also came for the funeral.  Nene tried everything she could to get to the funeral but she was in Cinderella at the time. Phaedra made a phone call to a funeral home for Todd.  Todd is teary-eyed.  Todd says that MJ’s TV apology was half-assed but she apologized more genuinely after Sharon died. Todd and Kandi fight about the prenup again.  Apparently, Todd doesn’t wear his wedding ring and he has more than one ring to match each watch. That’s weird. More talk about how Kandi puts too much of the relationship on TV.  Kandi says her boobs are bigger because she has gained weight and is taking steroids. RHOA Cynthia friend contract

Nene and Cynthia

Andy says he doesn’t get why it is over. Was it about Nene calling Peter a bitch?  Nene said that after Gregg and Peter got into it in Mexico she called Cynthia crying on the phone. Nene felt like things got out of hand. Things were fine between her and Cynthia until the show aired and then suddenly Cynthia was done being her friend.  Nene mentions something about going to Vegas with Cynthia and Peter and Cynthia had said something about Noelle and Arthur and not wanting a grandbaby. Then at the last reunion Nene says that Cynthia asked not to be seated next to Nene. Nene was blindsided. Nene is a victim of  mean old Cynthia, y’all.

Cynthia says she never requested to have her seat changed because she didn’t know where she was going to be placed. She also didn’t know there was an option that people could request certain seats. Cynthia sat where she was told. Andy says they do not have the option of selecting or changing their seat. Cynthia has way too much dark contouring on her boobs.  Cynthia tells a whole long story  that ends with Gregg and Peter fighting in Mexico. Cynthia says she wants to be very clear because she doesn’t want to keep answering this question. So they were all in Vegas when the show aired where Cynthia said she didn’t want Noelle getting pregnant. Nene for some dumb reason took that as an insult and blogged about it that night. Cynthia said they were in the same hotel on vacation together, but Nene did not address it with her there, instead she took it to the blogs. Cynthia says after that things just weren’t the same.

Cynthia’s mother responded to Nene trash talking Cynthia on WWHL by saying she was mean-spirited.  Cynthia  says after they fell out she didn’t go around trying to get Cynthia kicked off the show. Nene denies it but she said in on a dozen different talk shows. Cynthia calls her out on her lie. They play a clip of Nene trash talking and Nene starts over talking Cynthia with the whole “You’re right, I’m wrong.”

Porsha

Andy says that Porsha went from pampered princess to Princess of Thotland. Porsha smiles like this is a compliment. They play a montage of Porsha explaining to Nene was a THOT is and every single cast member calling her a THOT and her calling herself a THOT like it’s a title to be envied.  Andy makes fun of the shorts Porsha wore in Thailand.  Porsha says she broke the zipper on her denim shots and so she put on her swim shorts. She blames the cameraman for not telling her that her ass was hanging out. Really?  Nene calls Andy on his shade to Porsha. Nene says Porsha went from not being allowed to go to strip clubs to dancing at them. Porsha says Nene can show her some tricks.  Phaedra who has her back to Andy the WHOLE reunion high fives Porsha. After what I posted today I am reading a whole lot more into Phaedra literally turning her back on Andy the whole show. There does seem to be tension between Phaedra and Andy. Porsha asks how she felt seeing her grandfather portrayed in Selma. She went with her whole family and she was proud.

Puerto Rico Trip

Next up is the shade war in Puerto Rico. They play a long montage and Andy asks Phaedra why she thought that Nene lost that battle to Claudia. Kandi says that Claudia is very quick with a comeback. She thought it was funny and Claudia did her thing.  Claudia is grinning, Nene is pissed. Andy asks Claudia what she thought when Nene said her clit had left her body. Claudia says she thought it was stupid and it doesn’t make sense but Nene was grasping at straws at that point. You can almost see Nene trying to remember the phrase “grasping at straws” to use at a later date.

Andy says he got many comments and questions  saying that Nene calling Claudia a half-breed was racist and shocking  behavior. Nene says that when they were over in Puerto Rico, Claudia didn’t care that she called her a half-breed. Nene says Claudia always talks about being biracial. The only thing Claudia was upset about was Nene calling her a whore. Andy says someone says they are biracial doesn’t mean you can call them a half-breed.  Nene says when you are arguing it’s a battle of words and that is what came out. Kandi’s face looks horrified that Nene is again refusing to acknowledge her remarks and apologize. Andy asks if she would like to apologize for the comment. Nene says she will apologize to the viewers and gives a whole long speech even using the some of my best friends are biracial card and ends with but that comment never bothered Claudia. Claudia says Nene doesn’t know what bothered her because she has never spoken to her about it. But she can barely be heard because Nene is screaming over the top of Claudia while she was trying to talk.

Philippines

Nene gives her blood clot speech about how she couldn’t go on the flight despite the fact that she is on blood thinners. Lots of y’all seem to believe her, but it’s simply not true. EVERYONE needs to get up and walk every few hours on those long flight or risk getting blood clots. As long as she takes her meds and moves around the plane every few hours. She could have gone.  Andy calls Kandi out for saying Kenya has a lopsided but while they were riding the tiny horses.  Everyone feels like the absence of Nene on the trip made things go much easier.

They talk about the reconciliation between Kenya and Phaedra not lasting. Kenya said when they came back they were in a good place and went to each others events. After watching the episodes, things seem to go back to where they were.

real-housewives-of-atlanta-season-6-reunion-bts-24-960x600

Nene’s Meltdown

There are only seven minutes left in the show so it is time for Nene’s meltdown.  Dr. Jeff comes out and Nene gives him the cold shoulder. Nene goes into her spiel about how wrong it was for Dr. Jeff to let everyone air their grievances about Nene. She says it was all about trauma in everyone else’s life and  never  about trauma in hers.  Claudia says that is not true. Nene tells Claudia she is talking.  Nene starts to choke up. She says she doesn’t want to be the victim. The entire left couch, especially Kandi is giving this performance the side eye. Dr. Jeff said he knew about Nene’s mother and her issues with abandonment. He says the reason that he had everyone speak first is so she could address each of them about her feelings of abandonment and how she felt betrayed.  Dr. Jeff is back paddling. Porsha gives some crazy version of events. And Kandi stops her and says she was there and she has no memory of the situation going they way they are describing. What happened was as soon as Dr. Jeff said he was not on anyone’s side and he was there for everyone Nene had a hissyfit and left.

Nene looks like she is on something and she is about ready to explode. Her face is red, her eyes are glassy and she’s a ticking time bomb.  Why is Dr. Jeff not noticing this? Okay Dr. Jeff asks her how she is feeling and she starts to cry. Now I believe this was a genuine reaction. We all know when you are holding a lot in and someone asks how you are, that will open the flood gates.

Cynthia gives a sweet speech to Nene about her accomplishments. She stresses how hard it must be to reach all of these goals without a mother’s support. It is really quite touching. Nene is quietly crying lots and lots of real tears. Kenya then gives a whole speech about how they have issues in common concerning them both being abandoned by their mothers. Nene has not said a word in five minutes are more. She is just crying her eyes out. She stands up and grabs for Dr. Jeff’s hand and says ” I can’t. ”  Nene stands there and cries while  Dr. Jeff comforts her. everyone moves in to group hug except for Andy, Kandi and Claudia. Kenya practically shames Kandi into joining the circle telling Kandi that she is hurting, and you know starting her story  line for next season as Nene’s newest BFF.  So Claudia gets up too.

Nene keeps saying she can’t talk about her mom.  Someone needs to cover her left nipple. Cynthia, Phaedra and Porsha walk her to her car with Dr. Jeff. Kenya, Kandi and Claudia continue the show with Andy. Because she show must go on. Andy never even left his chair.  Gregg shows up at the car and Nene sobs in his arms. Porsha is saying stupid shit to Nene.  Nene goes back in to get her makeup.  Andy hears she  is back in the building and goes for the money shot. Andy gets there in time to interview Gregg about Nene’s backstory. How is it possible Andy doesn’t know this. Nene’s mother had five kids she could not afford so she sent two to Athens to be raised by her aunt. Nene has always wondered why she was one of the ones sent away.

Evventually, Nene gets her makeup touched up and goes back out to the couch like a pro. Okay, now Nene is giving this speech in her fakeass valley girl talk show voice. She thinks she has been misunderstood. Nene says she doesn’t talk about things she has been through in her life. Cynthia gives a lovely supportive speech.  Dr. Jeff says that other cast mates from previous seasons betrayed her after she got them on the show.  Kenya and Claudia both open up to Nene and say nice things. Kandi is still there wondering if she is in the twilight zone.  Dr. Jeff is annoying as fuck.  Andy is dismissing him from the show, but not before Nene tries to get Dr. Jeff to say he did the “cancelling” wrong.  Dr. Jeff says now that he knows more about her needs any good doctor would accommodate the patients needs to get them blah blah blah. Nene says “okay, I accept that.”  Jesus. I was starting to like her for all of five minutes and then she goes right back to Nene.

In the final remarks, Cynthia apologizes to Phaedra. Kenya says something about how she learned to never say never. Nene says it was great that all the ladies were supportive. She mentions everyone except Kandi.  Andy forces a group hug. Kandi is not about it at all.

Well that was interesting.

Kandi didn’t fall for the NeNe cartwheel show. Good for her. She’s been through to many seasons to fall for the trap. Watching Cynthia almost crush Andys feet to get to the traumatized NeNe was sick to watch. The wind almost blew off her wig. Porsha – for the love of God, please go back to school. So sad. Kenya – you are right to hold your cards close. Don’t trust. Where was Demetria? The Doc gets air time as well as Porsha who don’t hold peaches – confusing.

I think Demetria participated in the show just enough to get what she wanted: enough exposure to get a recording contract. Now that she has one, she probably sees no need to associate with that trifling group of women. Smart girl. She seemed too classy and mature be on the show anyway.

” the wind almost blew off her wig” loved that! All of us was thinking the same thing, what was Porsha talking about. She really do need to return to the third grade. My favorite HW for this season is Kandi, she is the only one who refuse to give Nene what she wants. Kandi is not a fan and can see through all Nene mess unlike the other women! And who did she get on the show and then they betrayed her? Kim, Sheree or Marlo. I didn’t know she was responsible for them being on the show.

Can we please give a BRAVO to Kandi for not falling for Nene’s momma issues act!

She was the only one up there not going to give Nene no excuse. Her sideeye was on the money throughout Nene’s performance.

Haven’t we seen and heard of Nene’s sad momma tales a few seasons ago when we were introduced to her aunts. I just thought it was all fake and she was really laying on thick. Im not trying to be insensitive but Nene still had a loving family and she made it as Cynthia pointed out.

Crazy thing is when Kenya spoke about her mother issues these women rolled their eyes or acted like it didnt matter the same way as Nene. Unbelievable.

Amen. Bravo to Kandi, I don’t admire the way she handles family issues but she is on point when it comes to calling Nene and Phaedra on their B.S.
So now we are to believe that Nene’s mama issues cause her to treat others so poorly. What a crock. But what really stuck in my craw was watching Dr. Jeff suck up to Nene tonight after how she challenged his license when she walked out of the counseling session. Even tonight she still was checking for him trying to get him to admit that he was wrong for how he conducted the counseling session. He didn’t admit to being wrong but said enough butt-kissing stuff to placate her. Ew.

Coco, that is how I remember it as well. We had at least 3 episodes that Nene covered this story including DNA testing to determine which one of two men is her real father. Somewhere in a past season, directly or indirectly, I cannot say which one, her sister said Nene choose to go live with the Aunt in Georgia. I think she had more chance for a good life there than crammed in federal housing in a NYC ghetto.

She is loosing so many fans, so now she is trying to get a academy award at faking, as much as she has always done. I do not buy that fake ass act. The Academy Award goes to Nene (Fake Ass) Leakes. As old as this bitch is, why now is she crying because her mommie did not want her. Would you? She is still a nasty ass pole dancing slut…and her body part has left her stanky ass body. People, please do not buy in to her trying to sell herself as an actress.

Cassie “Upfronts” are sales pitches to sell advertisement for the upcoming shows. The plan is for advertisers to check out all the new programs and buy advertisements for those shows. All the networks usually do this at the same time and the advertisers are wooed from network to network.

The upfronts are also called LA Screenings (if I remember correctly) and foreign countries come to buy shows, too. My family is in media in another country and my uncle is here shopping dramas/primetime (these get dubbed) and my cousin looks for reality tv, singing shows, younger programming (they usually just close-caption these).

The issues Nene was dealing with were real, even if her reaction was over the top. I wouldn’t feel dumb for that.

hey- i work in advertising/media. Upfront week is basically a preview screening for new or returning Tv shows for any given network/studio. this is the week you find out which tv shows are being cancelled, whats coming back for another season etc. Networks trot out their biggest stars, some movie and music stars also, to mingle withe the advertisers so you are more inclined to buy advertising space ( commercials) in the TV show ( not… it really all comes down to cost) In truth no one cares…. we are only there for the after parties. Beyond glamorous… its all yachts and shots. penthouses and prosecco. Cipriani and champagne!!! On occasion you may witness a celebrity ( married or single) getting up to some naughty shenanigans with a mere mortal. Its an unpsoken rule in the industry…dont breathe a word about it if you witness it or you will be black balled….very cosa nostra!!

This is a perfect example why I do not understand why TT believe Nene was truthful with her fake ass act of crying and fingers shaking. Nene had plenty time to rehearse those fake ass tears. A want-to-be real actress can cry, act, and play on broadway and convince anyone that what is happening is real. I guess if TT believe Nene’s tears were true, I can sell you that pig pussy isn’t pork. Just a live rehearsal for her next part.in a C or D acting role..

If Nene was for real crying…it was only because she hasn’t any real future prospects and she’s too old for the pole, unless the Clermont Lounge is hiring.

Agreed. I can think of several things in my life that make me cry on cue. My late Grandmother. A failed relationship. My crying has nothing to do with what is going on around me. I’ve also heard that actors and actresses use personal experiences as a technique to produce real tears on cue in movie scenes. If Nene was so broken up for real, she would not have gone right back to being a b—- so quickly.

Oh boy! Kandi’s reaction to the whole performance tells us more than anything else. If Andy, the master of ceremonies, stayed in his chair too, well then fuck it. I suspect that Andy was either disgusted by it or knew it was coming. Maybe both. Good for Kandi. She saw a fake as all fuck performance and then behaved accordingly. What the hell is it with women who think that if they cry then people can’t call them out on their bullshit? Totally not fair, underhanded, bullshit move. Since the idea of grabbing at straws was mentioned, it’s apparent that this is exactly what Nene was doing. She’s desperate. If the thirst is real, then what’s she thirsty for? Skrill?! That new mansion of hers won’t pay for itself. Pathetic.

Kenya on the other hand. Hmmm? Has she made a deal with the devil? I watch Kenya’s moves closely because she never does anything without a definite, specific purpose. Instead of calling Nene out on her mother issues nonsense, which Kenya herself has in ready supply, she consoles Nene. This performance was Nene’s Trump card. Andy however wasn’t really moved. Kenya’s got something cooking in the kitchen. I just wanna know when she’s gonna serve it up.

Kenya knew NeNe was gonna bash everyone the very next day/week on every media outlet possible. Which NeNe has done. Kenya is going to continue to be the bigger person so that NeNe will continue to show her ass. How bad does It make NeNe look when these women supported and comforted you, yet you are still throwing shade and suggesting who should be removed, mocking who’s single, labeling certain co-stats as desperate for money instead of finding true romance. NeNe is a piece of work. And Kenya is holding the paint brush.

I’m expecting the season opener to be Kenya and NeNe high-fiving at lunch. Ugh. Then Cynthia vs. Kenya will start up again as they battle for NeNe’s attention, and Porsha will be butthurt that her BFF is friends with her sworn enemy. Yup, I already know the script for next season.

I sensed a little tension between Cynthia and Kenya after NeNe had her breakdown. Maybe it was the sliced editing.

as an aside, I predict that for HER storyline, due to hormonal issues in her quest for another child, Kandi will want to try another music genre, one she hasn’t tried yet – um – what’s left? Surf punk? EDM? Thrash metal?

I’m so glad it’s over. Nene was faking emotion with real tears. Phaedra and Porsha were on her hills like two minions. Kandi cracked me up with her whole no fucks attitude. Hilarious. Cynthia was genuine and if Nene treats her like shit after this then she deserves whatever is coming to her. Nene truly acts entitled to the kindness of others but simply refuses to be kind in return. With the story about her mom, it’s kind of understandable. Basically she acts like a child who feels she’s owed love no given freely and unconditionally. She expected from people she has appointed as “friends”. She wants to be fawned over like a child or she will hate you, demean and dismiss you. Hope she gets the help she needs asap. Because she personifies the whole “hurt people hurt people” saying. Sheesh.

I am not a teacher but I do volunteer for Junior Achievement so I do get to “teach” elementary school aged children every semester which is a lot of fun. I taught my son’s class last time, which was really neat and I got to meet this little girl who, although she was very sweet, there was also something off with her behavior – she was emotionally needy and starved for affection and attention and also extremely aggressive towards others, as if she was lashing out. I couldn’t put my finger on who she reminded me of, so I let it go. Last month I attended a field trip with this same class and was assigned students to “watch” while on the trip and she was one of them. By the end of the day I was exhausted, physically and emotionally, from dealing with her and just puzzled as to why she was so aggressive towards other children, in particular other girls. I saw her cut in line, push a beautiful little girl behind her for no reason while cutting in line in front of her. Last night while watching the reunion on the DVR and when Nene was losing it and had that wide-eye, wild-eyed expression with her cheeks puffed out I realized that’s exactly who this little girl reminds me of – she gets that same exact wide-eye, cheeks puffed out look when she starts acting up. In retrospect, I have never seen her mom come around to any school activities, open house, etc. I can’t help but notice that if there is a situation at home where the mom may be emotionally absent or neglectful, it can create a “Nene” type of woman.

That’s a very interesting assessment DeeMart. I too, noticed something in Nene’s eyes during her ‘meltdown’. Being rejected by her mother at a young age must have had a profound impact on her emotional development. I think her growth was stunted. She is a walking ‘contradictory’ as Porsha would say!
I do not excuse her horrible adult behaviour but I think I understand. Like Cynthia, I am sympathetic to any woman who has not grown up with the loving, nurturing support and guidance of her mother. I do not know how that would feel but again, I understand. Nene’s character flaws may be caused by early childhood trauma.
While Nene appears to be very tough, she is also extremely insecure and demands unquestioning loyalty from her minion/friends/followers. Trust is very hard for her. She cannot tolerate any insubordination (or so it seems to me.) Insubordination is probably the wrong word but it is clear that Nene sets up a power dynamic in her relationships where she has to be in charge. She must be the centre of attention, the mover and the shaker. She does not do well with people who also want the spotlight/attention/adulation. This is her relationships with Kenya, Marlo and Kim clashed. They are all narcissists vying for constant attention. It looks as though Nene needs to be ‘in control/in charge’ of her friendships. Her ‘real friends’ (lol) Diana and the other **bridemays** were all in her pocket and had to look up to her, constantly reassuring her of how fabulous she was. It is not a relationship of equals. I’ve never seen Nene in a relationship of equals. (Maybe Greg) There’s always some passive aggression/competition going on.

When Dr Jeff mentioned betrayal, I wondered who he was referring to. Dwight? Sheree? Marlo? Kim?
Nene is vulnerable, harsh, ‘sassy’ but underneath this brash persona is insecurity and self doubt.
Do you plan to help the attention/affection starved little girl to avoid a Nene mark 2!!?
Apologies for the long comment, I got carried away!!

Nene is lucky! Her mom might have not raised her but damnit her aunts did. She technically had two mothers who put her in a good school, she played sports, graduated high school, ate, clothed and was sheltered! Did she get into trouble with bad check writing, yes. But she paid the price and moved on. Look where she is now! Shes a “rich bitch” and an actress. Her mother gave her up so she could prosper! Most people who have true abandonment issues wont have the chances like she has ever in life. And another thing why hasnt we seen this teary fest before when she had her spin off or all the seasons when she wanted to know who her daddy was? Least we saw her emotions about her dad but never her mom. Thats why Im skeptical at this performance. It was so rigged and fake. This season was meh at best. I cant wait for RHOC.

Coco, that’s right. It’s not as if Nene grew up in a Victorian era foundling home. That crying jag seemed to me like she was engaging in self pity because she had a bad season and she was crying because if she is viewed as the ostracized mean girl her “jobs” might be in jeopardy. It seemed liked it was staged as a bid for sympathy, more from the viewers than from the other Housewives. Good grief! The only thing missing from that off stage escort was James Brown’s cape!

What is it with Greg? He is such a sycophant to Nene. His words to her backstage of “you won”, “you won”. As if her performance was a battle victory. Greg has really annoyed me this season. And now he is playing the part of a sage with his headlights adage. The fact that he said people need to hear it about a 100 times to get the meaning? He must truly be around some dim witted people if he really thinks that.

Kandi, despite all the crazy family issues she has, was the only one who really stayed authentic in her response to everything this season.

Kenya, as always, did a masterful job at playing everyone else. She would be a dangerous opponent if she ever took up chess. Great strategist, that one.

Ok….I’m not saying that a certain person wasn’t holding something in and then felt the need to let it all out HOWEVER…..that last minute maneuver to get the Dr to back peddle on how he handled the counseling session was genius. After she got everybody on that mom train, that was the perfect time to get him to concede, which made it look like she was right the whole time (which she was not). When they showed that scene in the counseling session. Didn’t nene start the discussion off by saying she felt it was ‘it was very difficult being around these girls because their so negative’ ? So she actually set the tone (once again) that day. Once she saw that the Dr was trying to get to the real issues, she immediately became defensive, threw a tantrum and left. Also, It’s funny how no one had compassion for Kenya when she talked about her motherless situation. In fact, as she stated, she was mocked for not having her mother in her life, but yet we see everyone jumping off the couch to the rescue…really?

In Nenes’ ‘head’ I think she imagines herself to be, a petite 5’2″ (blond) woman with trust and abandonment issues, that everyone is out to get, and no one understands her. When she is cornered (in her head) she lashes out and blames others for their mean treatment of her, or for them trying to hold her accountable for actions. And just when they by into her bs, she gets them.

LOL Yeah that’s exactly how I felt as I watched this thing unfold. You can see her doing the calculations in her head and then slowly, first with the head shaking, and then with the tears, all with “doctor” Jeff enabling it. He may well have just said “Hey NeNe you break down and I’ll comfort and support you and give you a reason you can blame for your shitty behavior. You get an excuse, and I get exposure.” So she leaves ONCE AGAIN, but I’m sure the entire time she was thinking “I can’t really leave because the reunion coins are just too nice to lose.” Andy surprises a little here by acknowledging NeNe typically doesn’t listen or understand where the other ladies come from, unfortunately doctor Jeff’s enabling excuses that behavior.

Do you think Andy and Nene set that up to drum up some support for Nene after all the bad press she’s been getting over her uncouth behavior? At first I thought it seemed like some sort of intervention but I soon realized, how long have we been focusing on “hearing what Nene has to say and understanding why she acts that way?” WTF, um, no. Life doesn’t work like that, you don’t get to cry foul, shed a few tears and blame your bad behavior on an emotionally difficult past and avoid taking accountability for your own actions as an adult woman. Nah, fuck that.

That was genuine emotion and I think she desperately wished she could stop crying. It just all came to the forefront and could no longer be held in. And if you saw how Cynthia reacted.. I thought that whole moment contained very real actions and reactions.

I totally bought the tears. I just don’t think they had anything to do with mama abandonment issues. More likely she was upset that things weren’t going her way and had to do something to turn it around so she could regain control and be the center of attention. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Okay. Maybe. I looked for them, especially because you wrote about them, but no, couldn’t find them. I saw Nene do a lot of shaking, and pretend like she didn’t have the strength to walk on her own, but not crying. My bad?

I think she was furious with the counselor, and the breakdown/tears were prompted by anger – that’s why she made him admit he was wrong in the counseling session. He also contradicted himself – at one point he said he knew about NeNe’s issues, and then when she was pushing for him to admit he was wrong, he said something like- if he had known about her issues he would have handled the session differently.

Yep Tootsie. I agree with all of that. Nene was PISSED with the counselor. You know how sometimes you are so pissed off with someone that you cry and are pissed that you are crying? I’m starting to think it was something like that. Then she got sympathy and didn’t know how to respond to it.

I bought the tears too TT, but I need to watch all over again to see if there was anything that led up to them. Up to that point the show was really boooooorrring.

There was a pount where Dr Jeff addressed that Nene had a whole lot of shit that she needed to work on and implied that not needing to hold back on the secret mommy issues might let her move forward now. So maybe it’s not “I’m right and you wrong?”

The whole show was weird, right down to Andy calling for a “sister hug” with him being the Big Sister in the Middle.

I think she was crying because she was in the hot seat, if you ask me. I thought I saw her tense up since the moment the therapist came out. She looked like a caged animal, I do believe the tears were real due to a panic or anxiety attack or something similar, not because she felt bad about anything at all.

TT, I agree that Nene was having a genuine emotional breakdown. The revert back to her old self means she checked herself. -Oddly showing her intentions were never to be that vulnerable!

I’m just shocked you’re giving it to Nene! Sometimes I feel like the audience in the blog really do favor certain wives. It’s a little draining so I read other blogs for overall points of view. But you TT are objective and give a housewife an objective recap.

Kenya just set herself up for the biggest Nene and Kenya power pal partnership and Nene might bite! We shall see. Exciting for next season.

Kandi is stone not leaving character about her stance on Nene. What evs.. It’s was a non factor.

TT, I think Nene’s tears were genuine. She always likes to look good and hold court, those tears did NOT make her look good. She had a vulnerable moment in front of people who, under normal circumstances, she would never want to expose her vulnerability to. That’s why she had to get off the ‘stage.’ asap. When she returned, she was back in PR mode.

Tamara, the tears were real, it’s what motivated them that I question. Tears are often used as a form of manipulation and people who practice it become quite expert at sobbing as if their hearts were broken. My sister is a virtual genius at manipulating the family in that manner.

I think they were there all day (it was night when they went outside), she was called out on what a cunt she is all day, even Andy took a shade shot then a touchy subject was mentioned ie her mother and boom she cried. She got emotional. She is quite the bitch but she is also human.

Yeah I’m not even putting it in quotations you know what I mean and that’s what she said! She was auditioning for her life! After all of that the cunt bucket was struggling to say anything nice about any of the ladies and how they empathized with her! Hell she could only utter Phaedra and porsha’s name and it made me wonder if she even likes them! She nearly choked to say something about Cynthia!! Stink behavior!

Am I wrong for having zero sympathy for Ne Ne? I just don’t understand why people now want to coddle this woman after everything she has done and said to and about them. Like Claudia said, we all have a story. We all have pain. Why is NeNe’s pain so much more important than the others’? Because she kept it a secret and we just found out about it? I’m sorry but this doesn’t excuse NeNe’s mean spirited and vile ways. If you have experienced pain, usually you can recognize and empathize the pain in others. Ne Ne can never do that. In her mind, people have to recognize her pain and emapthize with with her, but not vice versa. She is emotionally stunted and can’t be introspective, at all. It’s quite sad really. But still…. zero sympathy.

Oh Lady! Nen’s a CON ARTIST! And her butler Greg too! Checkout the video Tamara posted the other day about The Leaks’s. That’s what they did before they got on this show. They scammed people. In trouble with the law, owing people money left and right. They’re still doing it, but now it’s a reality TV “performance”. Nene and Phaedra are two peas in a pod.

Which makes me think of something. Since Nene was basically a criminal before the show, and we know about Phaedra’s Apollo and Stanton drama, isn’t it a possible that’s how Nene and Phaedra know each other from before the show? That’s why Nene knows that Phaedra got her Ph.D in dickery? Hmmm?

Like Tamara said about Kandi, I felt like I was in the twilight zone watching this show tonight until I came here afterward and saw that others also saw through that performance. My guess is Nene is trying to show people in the industry that she is a real person, capable of feelings and not the cold, difficult diva she now has a rep for being. She can’t stay afloat if nobody will hire her. I hope no one out there with hiring power believed this crap. The sooner Nene Leakes fades into oblivion, the better.

I am totally on board with you Classy Lady. The world does not revolve around Nene, but tonight everybody but Kandi allowed it to.

I think Nene’s star status after the early success of RHOA went totally to her head. In her mind, she and she alone was responsible for it and there was no room for any more stars. When the newbies like Kenya and Claudia came on and stole the spotlight it through her for a loop, and knocked her off her axis. In order to compensate for not feeling in control she became arrogant, loud, mean, obnoxious and entitled. And now she thinks she can justify it by saying she had Mommy issues? Nah!

I agree the attention Nene has gotten from the show has gone to her head. And, unfortunately, it’s her atrocious behavior that has brought that attention, so Nene, with her still immature psyche, thinks that since she’s been rewarded in the past for this bad behavior, that she can continue with it.

I was totally turned off by the attention the others gave her after her meltdown. I think they checked their common sense and self esteems at the door by letting Nene completely off the hook for the things she has said and done. Until Nene acknowledges her hurtful words and deeds and apologizes for them, she’ll continue to use and abuse people.

“Dr.” Jeff needs to turn in his license for the part he played in giving Nene a pass on the ‘no-accountability’ and meanness tour she’s been on for the past few years. It’s boring/ I’m tired of her shouting over everyone and insulting people and being mean and arrogant with no consequences — and after this reunion, she walked out with a huge pat on the back for her actions and words. It’s a turn off which is exactly what I’m going to do when RWoATL comes back on my tv screen.

She did NOT keep it a secret. It was a major story line for her the first two seasons and she’s mentioned it plenty in the past. It was ridiculous for her to act as if she’d never mentioned it before and then imply that Kandi has used her brother’s death as an excuse for her bad behavior when Kandi has barely mentioned him on the show.

Okay. Here’s an idea. The fact that Greg said to Nene “You won” in order to console her was maybe a key clue as to the true reason behind her breakdown. Greg knows and sees the Nene that nobody else does. She probably goes into narcissistic rages in his presence and rants about the other Wives “coming for her” and her money. Maybe she was crying because she thought she had lost?

I’ve already conceded that Nene’s tears were genuine, but I refuse to believe that their source was the one claimed by Nene. She was crying for one reason (losing her peach), but lied (surprise! surprise!), and said it was about her mother. This all has something to do with the group therapy session, which pissed her off so completely that she threatened Dr. Jeff regarding his license.

Nene’s shaking in her boots about losing her peach and primary and/or only real source of livelihood. She knows that all her claims of success are bullshit. She’s scared shitless!

So if Nene calls herself black does that give someone else the right to call her the N word??? Don’t think so bitch! Why did Claudia backtrack on that point and seem to forgive? Oh yeah, class. Nene even had to throw in she has other mixed race friends so it’s okay. OVER IT.

Dr WhoDaFuk said everyone should back Nene because she, too, had childhood troubles? NO. NO. NO. Life is not about Nene and he needs to stop kissing her ass. Everyone seems to have told their childhood problems, why do Nene’s rate higher??? Per dr WhoDaFuk: “Everyone needs to listen to Nene right now.” HELLLLLLL NO.

Nene made it so clear she was above filming with these ladies all season but at the finale recap she had just soooo much to say…about WHAT. She was hardly there.

It reminded me of Brandi last year on BH saying she has all these different races of friends but she still said what she said to Joyce anyhow on national TV like it was no big deal.

It’s one thing when one has those thoughts in private talking to friends and family that have the same interest and level of thinking but once one steps out and talks like this in a public area be prepared to face the music. Nene and Brandi can both kick rocks om this!

That entire couch is full of that BS behavior. The stupid smug smiling at lie-statments made by the three of them. Porsha’s the worst with the looks, and the smug smiles. I think NeNe hates Kandi because she is self-made. She had money and fame before the show, and doesn’t need the housewives paycheck OR exposure for her businesses/brand to succeed. Kandi has waaay more money, buys houses for everyone… has a terrible, unsupportive mother and manages not to be a bitter victim. Kandi has talent. I’m not even a big Kandi fan, though I did love Xscape. I’m just pointing out how NeNe hides her thirst behind hate.

When Kenya was telling Nene that they have a lot in common, another lightbulb switched on in Nene’s head. That’s when she got up with the intent to pretend like she was leaving. The thing that triggered her getting up out of her chair was Kenya’s soliloquy. You could see the cogs turning in Nene’s head: “Uh oh, Kenya’s getting too much screen time! Can’t have that. Gotta make sure it’s about me!” It was really a game of chess between the two. Nene’s like Bobby Fischer. Fischer would cause a spectacle, accuse the opponent of cheating when they’re in fact winning fair and square, and then he’d walk off when things weren’t rigged in his favor. Sounds a lot like Nene. No?

Kandi was gold tonight: “I can’t understand what caused it.” Wow Kandi. There’s something to be said for sticking to your guns.

Nene’s “crying”? Not one single, solitary tear. Not even one drop of mascara, like Phaedra. Maybe she didn’t have enough time to get into character? Maybe she was trying to do two accents like the Cinderella show? Barf!

Oh, and Cynthia’s full of beans too. Fake ass concern. I’ve now watched pretty much the whole thing. Nene not only showed her ass tonight, but she showed her ass taking a massive, stinking shit. Detestable!

She’s arrogant, rude, loud, obnoxious, ignorant and disrespectful …characteristics she deems necessary to achieve “stardom” and be sought after and adored. Just gross….be gone and get gone!

Nene is so blinded by her issues, whatever they may truly be, I believe she thinks she is smart, respectful, and kind. She thinks that the other women are mean to her and unfairly blame her. She can’t see how much they actually do hold back and don’t deal out as bad as she serves. Nene sees the world her way, where she is the one always being picked on, and she cannot understand why. She must be seeing herself as an 8 year old, or however old she was when her mama sent her off to be a southern girl.

I’ve had friends and then had some friends turn into enemies in my years, just like anybody else. But I’ve never kissed anybody’s ass or begged for a friend to “take me back”. The only time I’ve ever felt or shown the kind of concern Cynthia shows for Nene was over men I was in love with. Period. Full stop. It’s just friggin weird.

I didn’t watch the reunion but I believe she does have real issues with abandonment. For the people saying they’ve ne er seen her show signs of it previously, look back to season one. She was so hurt when she found out her father wasn’t the man she thought it was. Furthermore, during her wedding spin off she begged him to come to Atlanta and give her away and he blew her off. I believe his brother, whom she called her favorite uncle, attended. Even when she went to meet the man her mom had the affair with he met her outside on the curb and wouldn’t even let her inside of his home. I remember her being excited about getting to know him but he never called.

As for Kandi, her hatred towards Nene will never allow her to feel sympathy for her. Gregg attended and spoke at Todd’s mom’s funeral and both Nene and Gregg attended AJ’s funeral but she never shows any sympathy towards Nene. I’ve never heard her question anyone else making up on the show but whenever Kim and Nene made and Phaedra and Nene made up she was upset

I think Nene is a bitch 98% of the time but I think he abandonment issues are real. She’s so bitter and its from not feeling accepted.

I see what you’re saying FGF. But Kandi lets a lot of shit slide with A LOT of other people. She didn’t even really come for Kim Bierman. I would have if it were me. Nene brings out the worst in her for a reason. That reason we don’t know. She behaves as though Nene has either done something really awful to her, or like Nene is an incurable con artist, pathological liar and theif that should never be trusted under any circumstances. Which is it? Who knows?

I also think NeNE’s emotions were genuine in the moment. Kandi’s non-reaction was exactly what I would expect from her. I think Kandi is even more self-involved than NeNe is. Am I the only one who has noticed that Kandi’s voice breaks and she cries only when she is feeling sorry for herself or has to justify her own selfish actions? I think that she did drop Phaedra when Apollo’s misdeeds were made public and what is she doing letting Apollo bitch about his marital problems behind Phaedra’s back, when they are supposed to be BFs? I think she put way more energy into defending and supporting her horrible mother than she did in trying to get to know Todd’s mom. I think drama scares her, or bores her and her first reaction to any problem is denial and if that fails
she gets angry. I get that she and Todd are trying their best to present the picture of a happy blended family, but Kandi may be headed for the bitch edit next season and I’d kind of welcome that.

I think Kandi cries when people who are SUPPOSED to be her friends or family doubt, her intentions or what she has already done for them. Nene never like Kandi because she was never impressed with her. AND Kandi had the nerve to leave Nene off the “Tardy for Party” song. Nene has never comforted Kandi when she cries, and Kandi didn’t fall for her ookie doke.

I was 9 when I found a doctors script with “abort”, “fetus” among other things that I don’t remember now on it. The dates matched, my mothers name was on it. They meant me. The script was to abort me.
It took me long time to get over: not wanted, not loved, meant to be destroyed. I found appreciation in that she didn’t go through with it. I got to thinking, whether you wanted or not – you gave me life. Now I am going to use it however, whether you like it or not.

Greg seems to fancy himself as the resident sage/philosopher so that’s possibly why he offered his “wisdom”. Plus he was in New York anyway spinning his wheels so he was on hand.

But tonight after that “strip pole” comment that Nene launched at her, it was OBVIOUS in her face that she knew she was being played and she still laughed it off and played nice. She threw a little shade back, hi-fived Phaedra then continued to follow nene around like a lapdog. The Nene, Phaedra, Porsha trio is just sick.

I think i was more floored by the realization that she has obviously always KNOWN that nene shades the hell out of her, but she is still positioned herself as her lap dog/ mini-nene. Before I’d thought she was too thick to get the shade. But she knows that Phaedra and Nene are getting at her on a regular basis and she’s taking it. Damn, now Nene will expect everyone should kiss her ass and never back talk to her because she was a rejected little girl. This story of her parents was covered in earlier seasons. This is something she should have dealt with in private counceling. It is not an excuse to mistreat others as if they are trying to take something from you.

It has always been obvious her overblown ego and trying to beat down everyone with words was over compensation for her insecurities. She had every opportunity to tell the new girls that she could relate to their family issues. Instead she treated them like dirt for their similar situation.

I think Kim is the one she is mad about of previous cast. She is jealous of her leaving her behind and having success. Now Kim is letting her horn in on that. They can relate on Mama issues now also. What past cast mates did should not put her on the hate fest for Kenya and Claudia. I don’t think she had input with their being hired. I think that is why she thinks the earlier girls owed her.

I never liked Kandi as much as after each part of this reunion.

I think Nene planned to totally act different this reunion to try to clean off her outrageous image. The tears may have caught her by surprise, but I think she did plan to go on the poor me story to be the last memory we would have of the season. She wanted to use it against the doctor as well. It was rediculous them almost all coddling and chasing after her. Personally, if I was sincerely broke up, I would hate people hanging on to me. Thank goodness this crap is over for a while.

I think it’s Shereé she is pissed about. Kim actually did thank her at one reunion, saying she would never have met her husband and had her babies had it not been for Nene. Shereé acted like Nene had nothing to do with getting her on the show when in fact, it was true that Nene gave her name to producers. I think this “breakthrough” had been brewing inside Nene since season 1 when Kim and Shereé teamed up and would dog Nene on camera and laugh behind her back. And I totally agree-real tears, but some may be for mom and the rest are from admitting defeat but not admitting defeat. Nene is one of the most prideful people I’ve ever seen. And like Tanara said, I am one of those who when I am furious, I cry.

That was the fakiest crying scene in the history of sympathy ploys. The trembling hands, then the frightened look in her wonky eyes. Breakdown, my ass. If her shoulders were shaking it was because she was trying to suppress laughter because I surely didn’t see the tracks of any tears on her face. Oh and then having to be helped off the stage. It’s obvious from Part 1 and 2 that she came on the reunion with some very structured, controlled, rehearsed lines and at some point, after 18 hours of filming, the house of cards fell down.

Nene’s meltdown seemed contrived from the fact that she was in the hot seat with Dr Jeff and the tape was rolling about her boorish, assinine behavior at the counseling session. Dr Jeff (whom Ive list all respect for after his apology to NeNe) appears to think she had a breakthrough, but all she did was plan another exit. She is still as vile and nasty as ever.

After watching that nauseating reunion show I was left wondering how long it took Andy to pull Cynthia, Porsha and Pahedra’s heads out of NeNe’s ass. That crying jag from Nene was all about neNe trying to flip the script on her being a grade A bitch all season and what better way than to have everyone feel sorry for her.

If Nene and Kenya come besties next season, it will be the catalyst I need to finally pull the plug on watching this show. I have tried to wean off because am turned off by all the meanness and meaninglessness. I used to enjoy the show – good and bad behavior – but it has turned into something that leaves a bad feeling in my spirit.

Dr Jeff is a thirsty charlatan… A gun for hire in the area of pop psychology. I wouldn’t let him analyze my toy fox terrier. But, forget him! Andy Cohen has become utterly insufferable. These staged shows and fake reunions have become like High School drama class exercises! Laughably inauthentic. NeNe Leakes is a media darling… She parties with the likes of Puffy and Rihanna. She’s made the best use of her of time on the Real Housewives. For some unfathomable reason, many people enjoy her schtick! Go figure ! As Franz Liszt once said : “the public loves trash”…

Gosh, I wish Dr Phil would have been there to call BS on her behavior. Hell, I’d even take Wendy Williams over Dr. Jeff! And her crocodile tears were short lived…she has been on WWHL since the reunion was taped, and she is still acting a fool. She is such a poor actress…

Nene tears were real but had nothing to do with her mom’s abandonment but more because Hollywood & cast mates abandoned her. After Glee & a glance at the New Normal, Nene thought she had Hollywood by the balls like she has Andy & her cast mates. News flash Nene Leakes… (in Kevin O’Leary’s voice) you are dead to Hollywood & Kandi … DING DONG THE WICKED WITCH IS DEAD!

All the bragging, insults, mistreatment of friends, cast mates & being above them i.e., “none of these girls are on my level” have caught up with Nene & it’s hard for her to hear, accept & watch being played back … I’d cry too if I were that awful.

When you dig a ditch for someone else you end up falling in it. What we witness last night was the “rich bit$h” trying to dig her way out of that ditch! (in other words save her azz with BRAVO – she needs that check)
“You never win when you play dirty” (in your own words Nene).

Anyone with common sense could see that it was only a matter of time before the likes of Nene Leakes dug a hole for herself. It remains to be seen if she will be able to dig herself out of it.

I agree with you, it remains to be seen if Nene is there next season. She’s her own worst enemy; instead of quietly riding the train of success & enjoying all the stops (opportunities) she thought she had arrived (ego) & decided to jump that train & fell into one of many ditches she dug along the way before reaching her true destination & boy does it hurt.

I used to like Nene and thought she was funny. The turning point for me was the bus fight with Kim. However I do think her feelings were real about her mom as were her tears. Do I think she’s gonna change her behavior no. But just like Kenya and her mom just because you are raised by a living family it does not change the fact you wonder why your own mother that gave birth to you didn’t love you enough to try and have a relationship with you. Even if she could not raise you she could still be a part of your life.
Now the half breed comment then and now sickens me as a mother of biracial children. With a half assed apology to the viewers and none to Cladia just speaks to her morals. If she has biracial friends as she says she has no respect for them, if they didn’t drop her then they should drop her now for not being willing to accept responsibility for how she made a biracial woman feel with her racially inappropriate comments.
On to Peter, I don’t know what makes him think he’s to good for a waitress. As a former waitress of 14 yrs. I promise you I have moral standards I made great money I bought my first home at 20 yrs old and didn’t need the help of a man to do it. Furthermore I wouldn’t have a man like Peter. So J Lo can have him but I doubt she would want him either.

I think this is the part where TT inserts the link to her blog where she hooked up Kenya through a mutual friend with Bravo to start a connection/ recommendation. Hence nene even saying Kenya is good for the show on occasion.

Also Nene has shared and cast mates have conceded over the years that she was trying to make it as an actress when approached to do this reality show and pointed production at some of the first season wives. For sure Kim admitted to Nene being the link to her bravo chain. Sheree was also one of Nene’s referrals. It doesn’t mean the girls didn’t interview and earn the spot but the hook up with the opportunity started with Lenithia.

I’d even guess as a viewer, Pheadra’s sell to bravo was that she ‘knew’ Nene. The same way Melissa Gorga ‘knew’ Teresa Guidice. The networks thirst for all that knowledge got the girls hooked up with bravo. The thirst ticked of the HBIC of each respective show.

        Just my two cents.

I’ve never really cared for the shows where they bring on the so called psychologist/therapist/psychiatrist for counseling. There always seems to be an ulterior motive. Last night was supposedly the redemption of NeNe. Reminds me of the RHOBH show where Taylor brought her therapist to a party (yes a party) to convince the ladies she had been abused in set up for her book.

I don’t think it’s just the fact that she wonders why she was sent away. I think she was mad about that for a long time, and that her mother passed away and she was never able to make peace with her. So she’s never make peace with the situation. It is sad, but I do dislike when people try to use life’s unfortunate or even tragic situation for years and years of asshole behavior.

I think a huge part, maybe even half of that, is she’s so pissed off that she feel she shot Kim and Sheree to stardom, and They basically got on TV and made her look like a fool a lot. She says they had boundaries-what? They did not. I’m sorry Nene’s mother sent her away, and died without Nene ever having a relationship with her. I can’t imagine what that feels like, and I know that probably breaks her heart a lot, especially since she became a mother and a grandmother.
And the night in Puerto Rico and the “shade” throw down? All that was, was Nene being drunk and spouting bs stuff off. Didn’t mean anything on either side to me. We all say dumb shit when drunk.
Finally, I think Nene simply broke from years of being a bitch and trying to hold her head up with these women and the public saying what they do about Nene. Deep down she knows most of it’s true and is a prideful person and would rather die than change and give the satisfaction. I think the real Nene if she would get the Hollywood off of her, is probably a funny, loyal true friend without the cameras.

I know in season one or two, Nene did mention her mother leaving her to be raised by her aunt, but she made it sound like that was something that Nene and her aunt wanted. It is a breakthrough and heartbreaking to see how much that has hurt her. That’s probably why she has a hard relationship with her sisters. They got mom. It all makes so much sense.

Please reread. “nene feels she shot Shereé and Kim to stardom.” I did not say that I find that true.
I don’t care what any of you say-whether she wanted to live with her aunt or not, the fact that her mother raised her sisters and not her – how would you feel? Nene probably gave her the high hat any time her mother did reach out and then suddenly died. So imagine being a bitch to your mother and then she dies. She has to live with that.

Again, I said my opinion is
Nene broke from years of fighting, being called names, calling others names, always having to stay one step ahead, and it did break her. It is embarrassing for me to cry in front of a few people-on national television? The mom thing was just an excuse. I’ve blamed crying on something else many times when I don’t want to talk about what I’m feeling. I’m glad you love “TT” so much (Tamara I assume?) but you could have found a better post to do some butt kissing on.
Simone, I’m on the fence. Prideful people don’t usually change. Not in real life. Nene has the pride of Lucifer.

Well, that was a whole lot of fuckwittage.

When NeNe mentioned that she had been “told” last reunion that Cynthia had requested for her seat to be moved, after hearing Cynthia and Andy’s comments I just thought yep, NeNe is lying again. Then I thought, hmmmmm …. was that a strategic move by production to crank up NeNe to come against Cynthia during filming?

I’m surprised none of the ladies (or Andy) called out NeNe on the “I can’t fly due to blood clot” excuse. Vegas is farther away from Atlanta than Puerto Rico, but she doesn’t seem to have an issues flying to Vegas … or L.A.!

I was disgusted that NeNe wouldn’t apologize to Claudia for the half breed comment. NeNe, you don’t get to decide which epithets are offensive and which are okay. Half breed has ALWAYS been offensive, at least to those who were the butt of the comment.

I didn’t buy NeNe’s shaking routine, but I do think her tears were real. I just don’t know what the true reasons were for the tears. Loss of fans? Realizing that most of her cast mates really don’t like her, and not just for the story line? People are turning to Team Kenya? By the time she was sobbing in Gregg’s arms, I had tears in my eyes. It’s hard not to feel sorry for anyone who was abandoned by their mother. What I DO have a problem with is her abuse of others who have similar issues. Kenya is also carrying that hurt, yet when she mentions it, all NeNe can do is make ugly faces and roll her eyes.

NeNe ended the reunion as nasty as she began it, and couldn’t turn down the opportunity to take one more shot at Dr. Jeff’s ability as a therapist. She had something to nice to say about all the cast makes (except Kandi), finishing with an “Oh and Cynthia. Ya she was back there” with a totally disinterested tone. Cynthia, next time stay on the sofa with Kandi. Kandi has it all figured out!

Bottom line is that I think the third episode was calculated and staged as a means of rehabilitating NeNe for future use by Bravo. Her abhorrent behavior has damaged the goods. Maybe Andy can come up with a new show for NeNe and Gregg, and call it “The Grifters.”

Nene can’t keep up with her own lies. They are starting to catch up to her. And she can’t deal with it. If she was a true actress, she would be much better at improv. But instead, she has to come prepared with her little catch phrases. And sometimes, they just don’t work. She’s not smart enough or talented enough to think on her feet, like some of the others.

Nene doesn’t understand that a sincere apology is not with resentment but because you genuinely feel remorseful. She’s never humble but always loud, angry, mad & indifferent when she extends an apology therefore her apologies are not accepted by most of her cast mates. Unfortunately Greg & others enable her cruel behavior with the Nay Nay bull$hit.
