Some new legal activity is going on with the Kim Richard’s dog bite case this week. Kim Richard’s dog Kingsley caused severe injury to an elderly guest at her house. The plaintiff, Kay Rozario, has requested a summary judgment because from what I make of this, Kim has not responded to her summons or provided the court with any defense. It appears she has done NOTHING about this issue.
In the latest legal action, called a “Prove UP” The 81 year old plaintiff states that she lost a tremendous amount of blood and feared that she was going to die as a result of the attack. When the paramedics came she was still flat on her back. She could not get up and the floor was slick with blood. She did not want to wait for an ambulance and left the house immediately in fear of Kim Richard’s dog Kingsley.
Kim Richard’s Dog Kingsley Causes Very Serious Injuries!
Rozario had two serious bites in her left hand and right arm. She went into great detail about her two months of pain and suffering at the site of the bites. Rozario also mentioned her current anxiety, specifically a fear of dogs she had never had before.
She states that she lives next door to neighbors on both sides with large dogs. Npw, the fear keeps her from enjoying her property, unless the neighbors bring their dogs inside. She also has anxiety when news shows run report of a dog attack. In addition, she severely injured her back in the fall and continues to experience pain from that.
As I told you in my initial post on this case, Evolution Productions was dismissed by the court as a defendant. As I said then, their inclusion was ridiculous in the first place as they had no liability at all in the situation.
The summary judgment has not been signed yet. But the prove up is pretty thorough and she has a good shot at it I think. It’s just not a good time to be Kim Richards. Documents suggest that the plaintiff will be awarded $1,050,000. Update, so far she has only received just over $8K. The whereabouts and condition of Kim Richard’s dog Kingsley remains unknown.
